Re: (Nutaku) PeroPero Seduction
So it has slayers that increase stamina? Did that just start with that particular gamibt, or had they done that before?
Heh, not exactly. This one had a weird set of circumstances behind it.
- JP has an item that increases your stamina by 250, regardless of your maximum and whether or not it would push you over your max stamina. The only requirement is that you're missing at least 1 stamina, so I took one spin on the story mode bonus stage and used one of these items, so I already started with about 980 stamina.
- This variation has the six cards at the end of the stage like the original Gambit. However, there will always be only one correct card, and you move on to the next stage whether you choose correctly or not. Choosing the right card just gives you 50 extra stamina going into the next round. Stamina gained like this can also push you above your maximum. In addition, each time you guess wrong, one incorrect card is automatically revealed the next time you reach the end of the stage.
- Some slayers multiply points as you'd expect, but one of them seems to cut the number of cards at the end of the stage in half. Anytime I finish a stage, three cards are already flipped, so I have a much higher chance of guessing right at the end.
- Like regular Gambit, the earlier stages use less stamina per spin and take less spins to complete. In the beginning of the event, you could make it through one stage with 16 stamina. Taking into consideration the cards at the end of the stage, it's impossible to not make some kind of stamina profit off the first several levels.
Granted, now I'm several stages in and it takes 36 stamina to clear a stage, so now I'm starting to slowly lose stamina. I don't fully remember the details of the last time they did this type of event (June 2015), but I don't remember the beginning of that event being quite this broken.
tl;dr: No the slayers don't directly give you stamina.
EDIT:
another question: is the friend cap on jp 100 as well?
Yup.
