also, somebody went on a leveling spree the past few days and passed me. Tsk, was hoping to become 2nd to hit 100 (still 3 to go)
I bought 4M worth.. and just spent another 700k raising all the moes to at least 50+, lol.. that's enough for now though.. I've fallen below 3M pero left, so its time to start banking again.

Infinite, last event when it was like this I had 12 up at once before someone started killing them.

1) to get as much EP as possible; or at least to get enough for the static rewards if you don't terribly care about rankings
2) to get as many wins (I'm trying hard to make a conscious effort not to describe them as "kills", lol) as possible, since each individual win gives you an item or pero reward
Now, to answer your question, yes, you get rewards for any boss you've done damage to as long as it was defeated. How you approach sharing depends on which of the two above goals you value more.
If 2) is more important, than tag everything once and share everything (assuming you have enough/strong friends to keep clearing them out). That way, you're clearing as many bosses as possible, thus reaping many item rewards.
If EP is your focus, well, then you have to use a bit more discretion when sharing. The EP you get from a normal boss is 10% of the damage you did to it. If you've done the most damage OR got the last hit in, this is doubled. If you do BOTH, it's tripled. With this in mind, many people do enough damage to ensure they'll have at least the "most damage" bonus, THEN share.. however, you have to be sure that's worth it.. after all, it may be better off to just hit it once and let your friends take care of it then say, waste 4+ focus on a single boss.
Personally, I've always used this formula/technique to determine if/when I share a boss:
I hit it once. If the remaining hp is less than 10% of my SED (the minimum dmg from a weak hit), I'll finish it off myself. If it's not, I share it. That simple. I try not to ever spend more than 2 focus per boss.

Dunno about the movie thing.. might be a bug, but I flew past those thresholds, so I didn't notice (my first EG with actual slayers, lol).
Oh, so you missed the fun yesterday? For the first half hour of the event, the EG spinner didn't cost stamina (to their credit, they were able to hotfix it without a restart).

Actually I saw it at the very beginning, but the event started up just a couple minutes before I had to leave for work, so I only got about two spins out of it before I had to take off.

I have a similar strategy, except when the lightning guards spawn, I typically try to share them even if I can 2 shot them.

This... is a great idea! Thought you meant you spent 4m converting Ns to Rs. I have more than 7m pero sitting around just in case they decide to give out card reveals again. Gonna convert some of that to useful SED.

There's also an eGacha ticket at 500k and an guaranteed SR ticket if you do the event daily. Rewards are nice this time around.

..also, I wonder how much closer to 1st in EP I'd be if I wasn't so assist-centric.. or actually trying -at all- (my personal belief is that if you're actually trying for rank in phase 1, you're doing it wrong)
