SIM [Kiss ] Custom Maid 3D 2

So I've been poking around the net for more stuff made by Kiss
(I.E. the guys who made Custom Maid 3D)

And decided to give hongfire a stab at this and turns out Custom Maid 3D 2 is legit in the works

after doing a search on theses forums I found that there's no actual threads speaking of it, and thought it was a shame

so ...

I figured I'd start one here and share the info Hongfire has

While not a "real" demo by many peoples standards
(as it only allows to poke around the character editor)
It makes for a great benchmarking tool

And finally the announced release date Wich is:

2015/07/24


As anyone can tell this release date means the game'll be out by the end of the month...

As a side note, the game runs on unity and runs DAMN WELL at that, and because of it, it also features Occulus Rift support (dunno if anybody even has the bloody thing on the forum as a whole but I'll leave that here anyways....)

having had a stab at the character editor myself I can say this:

it runs SHOCKINGLY WELL for the graphics offered and the aesthetic...

So from what I see here, it seems that there'll be quite a few SLG elements to CM3D2

At the beginning of a day you can set a maid's schedule, which are split into day and night. Day chores are the usual maid things like cleaning and whatnot. Night duties are the lewd ones
On the screenshot it shows a couple of options for night duties
[Club reception] (wine glass) seems innocuous enough, probably just a simple stat-raising activity
[Night service] (heart) is the usual CM3D H option. Although this time around, it seems that it'll have a little bigger role than just watching maids do lewd things
[VIP reception] (the first VIP icon) is probably the option where you get your maids to service customers. That particular option is for VIP soap play, so it seems like there'll probably be a lot of different options. There's also a bunch of requirements for VIP soap play, which include
>several H-skills at level 3
>Free-use maid contract
>3* salon grade
>both virginities lost
>at least 5 H sessions
What it looks like is probably that you'll have to take your new maids in for personal training first before they can actually go out and service customers

It's also a little unclear but it seems that after a certain point you might be able to assign maids to customers

When maids are servicing customers it seems that you'll be able to get currency out of it, which you'll be able to use to buy clothes and other things

Small sampling of h skills, etc etc. Seems to be mostly the same as the first game

Then it gets into something interesting: contract types. After a certain point in the game, you'll be able to designate maid contracts
There are two contracts, free-use and personal. Free-use maids can be sent for H with customers, while personal maids are limited to protagonist only

Shop system where you can buy things, though probably limited to just clothes and other aesthetic things

Dance functionality, but who's surprised

appearantly it seems there are ALREADY modding tools out and/or in the works

EDIT2: Appearantly the devs are actually putting up official modding tools that lets peoples mess with textures and models (at least)

Haven't played the first one myself.

How much interactivity and Gameplay can I expect from this?
Graphically it looks pretty good so I'm intrigued

First one is basically a raising H-sim. You play as a master who obtains his childhood friend as a maid, you train her sexually and can either keep her for yourself or pimp her out to other customers. Depending on how you train her she might end up super submissive, resilient, lewd or just loving. Once you clear the "story mode" you can add more maids and have 3P and other group scenarios unlocked. Lots of different positions/customization. It's a different flavor of something like Artificial Girl/Academy except instead of creating your own "world" as in those games the focus is mainly on raising/training.

It also has a ton mod support. Finding, let alone identifying, said mods will be difficult for non-Japanese readers; but its out there.

If you don't mind digging around a little bit, the first one still gets passed around and theres a mostly complete English fan translation. If you're looking for a quick fix though, be warned. Its a big game, BEFORE the mods.

I don't think editing counts as something new being posted into a thread, although I'm not sure.
On a side note I wonder if they're going to create as much addons on this as they did with the first one. The installation progress was almost a nightmare with all of them, but the game was great

Yes there is a translation, along with uncensor mods and all that over at Hongfire. Unfortunately the translation still isn't complete but it's getting there.

Oh my god they even are aiming to add Oculus Rift support into this damned thing. All that's left is to find a way to mod it so it works with one of those mechanical onaholes, I don't even know what the best reaction to this would be I'm dumbfounded by this.
