shouldn't get locked out of the first half I think the jp wiki says the events on there always let you continue doing the first half into the 2nd half.

I'm hoping these events will get easier if we get up to like 150~200+ max stamina so you dont have to come back and use all your stamina as often

I was able to finish the quests with 6 potions used. I finished a few hours ago this morning. The first 5 went by quickly, but the last 5 were an endurance test since it would take about 4 hours for my energy to recharge.

I think that is the only thing I really dislike about this game. Energy just takes too damn long to recharge.

I would think the second set of quests to be near impossible to finish if it requires more energy than this one did.

Since everyone recharges energy at the same rate, it would just come down to minimizing the loss of energy from levelling up to keep yourself ahead of the game as much as possible. The idea would be to level up with as close to 0 remaining energy each time as possible.

I think it would have been possible, however very unlikely to finish this quest line without potions. Most normal people actually sleep, and that would be their downfall. The loss of energy gain from being at max would prevent them from finishing. I should probably go and do the math on how much energy it takes to finish each leg and each level for the next group of tasks that start next week.

Quests like this are all about resource management, and putting in an absurdly precise amount of time.

Finished without using any potions but i did set my alarm so i could always spend my stamina. I just hope stage 11-20 is starting back from 2 stamina per advance and won't continue with 11 stamina per advance.

For everyone else, I was skimming the JP wiki and saw some interesting rebalances in a recent patch (or outright buffs, in the case of Anastasia, Sakura, Muto, and wood cards in general).

Detailed below.

General:
-skill buffs in general (mostly for elemental skills) increasing attack or dropping opponent's attack
-LP damage/healing skills do more
-wood card skills have reduced/no mana cost to emphasize their skill-centered strategy
-some buffs to spell cards

Animal Trainer Anastasia:
-costs 10 mana to summon (instead of 11)
-Drums of the Beast Queen: costs 3 mana (instead of 4)
-Drums of the Beast Queen: for one battle, increases attack by 200 per monster on her field (instead of 100)

Amazonian Hilde:
-Rushing Floods: drops fire opponent's attack by 600 (instead of 200)

Swordswoman Sara / Warrior Rebecca / Poet Fiore:
-Crushing Evil / Yggdrasill Buster / Song of the Storm: increases attack by 400 (instead of 200) against dark/wood/water opponents

Thief Angie / Snake Charmer Amna:
-Cursed Seal / Shining Sacrifice: manually increases attack by 400 (instead of 300) against dark/light opponents

Cutie Pie Chao / Foot Soldier Okita:
-Forest Buster / Flame Breaker: manually increases attack by 400 (instead of 300) against wood/fire opponents
-Chao: max stats are now 1550/800 (from 1350/1200)

Crossbow Combatant Vanessa:
-Aqua Destruction: manually increases attack by 400 (instead of 300) against water opponents
-Aqua Destruction: no longer costs mana (instead of 1)
-max attack is slightly nerfed to 1550 (as opposed to 1600)

Hero Sakura:
-Rage of Justice: increases attack by 600 (instead of 300)
-Rage of Justice: costs 3 mana (instead of 5)

Highborn Flora / Disciple of the Cursed Seal Rowle / North Sea Warrior Theresa / Angler Sango
-Night Ruin / Breaker of Light / Fire Strike / Water Strike: manually increases attack by 600 (instead of 500) against proper elements
-skills cost 1 mana (instead of 2)
-Flora: max attack is now 1700 (as opposed to 1200)
-Rowle/Theresa/Sango: max attack is now 1200 (as opposed to 1150)

Bare Cook Phoebe:
-Wood Strike: manually increases attack by 600 (instead of 500) against water opponents
-Wood Strike: no longer costs mana (instead of 1)

Priest Monica:
-Blessing: restores 1000 LP (instead of 600)
-Blessing: costs 1 mana (instead of 0)

Gang Boss Asuka:
-Weak in the Knees: costs 2 mana (instead of 4)

Divine Archer Chihaya:
-Defenseless (manually drop one enemy's defense by 300): no longer costs mana (instead of 3)

Peace Keeper Jody:
-Quickdraw: deals 300 LP direct damage when summoned to attack (instead of 200 LP)

Beach Babe Patty:
-Grace of the Sun: restores 600 LP (instead of 300) when defeated

Wood Mage Laurel:
-Breath of Life: restores 500 LP when attacked and survives (instead of 400 LP)

Pumpkin Girl Marsha:
-Trick or Treat: costs 2 mana (instead of 5)

Strategist Ryumei:
-Stone Soldiers: costs 2 mana (instead of 5)
-max defense is now 2000 (instead of 1950)

____ Tanya / Dark Elf Lily / Wanderer Ibuki / Sea Soldier Aqua / Love Doctor Charlene:
-____ Binders: when summoned to attack, reduces attack of all opponents with the elemental weakness by 300 (instead of 200)

Space Cadet Muto:
-Friends of the Forest: no longer costs mana (instead of 5)
-Friends of the Forest: for one turn, increases her attack by 300 (instead of 100) per wood monster on BOTH fields

Fountain of the Truthful:
-draws 3 cards (instead of 2)

Crystal of the Radiance/Darkness/Inferno/Floods/Grove:
-costs 3 mana (instead of 6)
-lasts three turns (instead of 1)

Beckoning Darkness:
-costs 2 mana (instead of 6)

Sacrificial Pyre / Waters of Life:
-costs 5 mana (instead of 7)

Flame Rekindled:
-costs 10 mana (instead of 11)

I think that's all the listed changes (out of the cards we have that I know).

Very nice find, guess its too bad I ended up eating the 3x Crystal of Inferno's (and a few others from 2k gatcha) I had cause they were way over priced for a single turn buff. :(

Only one I think may get rebalanced later might be: Priest Monica
The 600 could be difficult to deal with, getting 1k health from a unit that doesn't attack but has high ATK (thus not easily removed when being attacked) could cause quite a few decks to struggle.

I've already run across one player that maxed her out in level/upgrades, and had I not had sheer board removal (Veteran Hustler Shalif) I wouldn't have won most likely as we both had some fairly large creatures that could not be easily removed, the difference was his healing was already out classing the damage I could dish out, and when you have units doing 2500+, that gets to be a bit much. After all we don't see too many EX: Invitation's to Hell yet, and even that wouldn't help in this particular units case, since she never attacks.

This should be called PTW phase instead of phase two.

Aaand tournament disabled. Well that was a nice 37 minutes. Though it was so slow and unresponsive I only got through 2 matches, which required 7 page refreshes, so I guess working out another set of kinks might be a good idea.

Good thing my last match was long and drawn out then, just finished it right now so I got to tournament an extra 15 minutes. :p

Only needed to refresh twice during the two matches I played.

Right now it looks like stage 11 takes 250 total energy to complete. I am 10 energy away from getting to the boss, and then I get to see if stage 12 is any better/worse.

Goes back to the main issue I have with this game, the energy system is ASS. It takes way too long to recover energy.

it's the same with almost every dmm games. it takes 3 minutes to recover stamina. heck, in taimanin asagi it takes 20 minutes to recover 1 bp and you can only carry 6.

It's a combination of both; the first-half stages had both increasing energy costs and decreasing progress per advancement. Someone who started on the first day of the first-half only barely finished stage 10 on the last day before 11+ were unlocked.

If 11+ have both increasing costs and decreasing progress, there is 0 chance to reach the end for free players by the end of the event. Even the 'Start Dash v2' is no help, since free players obviously don't have piles of limited tickets lying around. Heck, even if 11+ only have decreasing progress at the same rate, there's no chance. 10 energy is a lot.

I too would like to know about this too.
It was stated we would get day 1 and day 2 together, that did not happen.
