Yep does nothing, except if you are using the 480p version or 1080p, in which case it just changes it to 720p. At least for me anyway, dunno about anyone else.

Edit: tried with 720p version, still does nothing.

Turns out it's in the registry under
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Grimhelm\Dungeon&Maid_

I can export my files, but I don't know if it'll work for other computers or if it's potentially dangerous. Doubt it but I don't know anything about the registry so if someone more knowledgeable than I would like to chime in that'd be helpful.

She's got a glorious ass, I can't decide whether I prefer her clothed or not though. She looks great in those pantyhose and maid outfit too.
I'm not really sure why I ran the game in 720, and regret not doing so since I'll have to start over again for it.

I can barely reach the first save point, let alone the first boss!

The game just pinged as a virus and the EXE was removed so i used the Demo Exe and it worked fine.

Its pretty good, but soooo much place for improvement.

Like not all monsters/tentacle traps have cumming animation, last stage is pretty much only 1 rapist added except boss, no GOR. There is 1,5 yuri, could be more. No action for captured maids - whyyyyyy, they look so good, give them some tentacle loving or wooden horse animation at least. If you passed to another stage while checking location or just pushed by enemy, you cant return to previous stage and its autosaving you.

Putting my hopes into updates.

You got it, the values that control the gallery are those that begin with "H_(Number of scene in the gallery)_h(some number I can't make some sense of)"

They are all 32-bit DWORDs with a value of 1. I'm guessing you just need to have them in the registry to make it work, could you screenshot or transcribe those values here (or even export the whole registry folder)? I'll test it right away if so.

Cool, here are the three files needed to unlock the gallery, one for each resolution. Download the one corresponding to the resolution you wish (make sure you ran the game once at said resolution first, so the game can create the basic folder structure), run it by double clicking and confirm to windows you wish to enter the information into the registry and voilá!

JUST A FEW CAVEATS:

- It will unlock the gallery only, hopefully, meaning it won't mess with saves and boss progress;
- It follows the registry structure of Windows 7, I don't know how it will work in other versions of Windows;
- Importing .reg files into your own registry can be a bad idea! Heck, I may be a jerk trying to do it to you right now in hope I can hijack your info. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!

That said, anyone with a modicum of tech savvy can check for those and modify as needed, I hope.

@hometown Thanks, mate, really. On a sidenote, you don't need to replay it at the highest resolution, just change the 720 at the end of the third line of the file you exported to 1080, re-import it and you're golden.

Also anyone know what the random button does in the gallery mode?
It appears to do nothing.

In some languages, commas replace periods where you would normally use periods and vice versa when it comes to numbers. I think that's what's happening here.



Anyways. The game is a lot easier this time, especially with the more exploring you do. However, I found that reaching some areas depends on the drop that allows you to triple or quadruple jump, and it sometimes just isn't available. The 2nd golden chest in the first area comes to mind. You can get so close with a double jump, though, that I feel like the platform might be bugged.

The spinning spike level was obnoxious, but the dash ability makes it a lot easier if you remember to use it. Having enemies knock you into a different screen, only to return and have the enemy back at full health was especially irritating in the area where you get the 3rd key.

And lastly, dropping down always felt like a leap of faith. Many times I felt like I was guessing if the area below me was safe, only to drop onto spikes or tentacles about half the time. It never screwed me over as enemies drop health like candy but I can imagine it to be extra frustrating to players who find the game difficult or don't play many games on a keyboard.

H content-wise it's a bit better than Dark Star, but even with it's increased monster count I still felt like it was missing variety since a good number of the animations were just Large Monster A fucks the Maid from behind. I don't know about you guys, but I like to see a bit more. That's why the blue tentacles the half-xenomorphs toss out are probably my favorite animation, followed by the blue slime. One thing Dark Star has over this one is evolving animation in sex scenes and also a lack of definitive finishing animation.

Just as others are, I'm also bummed the prisoners weren't more interact-able or animated and also that they couldn't be added to the Gallery a la Shinobi Girl, but from what I can tell by the blog, Grimhelm only recently added them. That's pretty cool of him to toss in some extra effort when it came down to the wire. He also tried to make a de-censor patch but it didn't work, not yet anyway.

Even though I'm a little let down, he's making big steps with his games and realizing more potential for them. I hope he returns to this one to make more content as well as continue to expand on and make more games.
