The trip to the village gates was relatively uneventful. The satyr was forced to walk in front of the group so that they could keep an eye on him. They've managed to reach the gate by nightfall, just as Vali was preparing to close it. The silver-haired elf tensed upon noticing the goblins first, reaching for the sword at his belt, but stopped as he saw Nym and the satyr. "What the..." He began, casting his gaze from the goblins - torn between glaring at him and beaming with smugness, the satyr and finally the girl, raising an eyebrow at her current state of dress. "Uh... "Well, I kinda got into a fight with the goblins but we resolved that with only some minor clothing damage," Nym said, referring to her current state of dress, "But then the goblins helped me find the thief. This Satyr has been stealing from your guys granary, we found the food and he used these shoes to copy goblin tracks," Nym held up the goblin shoes, and pointed at the food they had brought with them. Nym also wondered if she might have to help the goblins to prove that they had cleared their tribes name to their kin later.

"Can I see those?" Vali asked, looking warily at the goblins. Once Nym gave him the shoes, he'd spend a moment examining it, frowning before glancing at the satyr, looking surprised. Casting another look at the spoils of war, he noticed some of the other stuff goblins looted off of the goatman and his eyebrows shot up as he obviously recognized some of them. "Well, this... I think we need to inform the mayor. Quickly. Dakon!" He called out. After a moment, another well-build elf walked up to the gate, stopping as soon as he saw the group, looking bewildered until Vali snapped him out. "Dakon! Go and bring Elsa here. It seems that our friends managed to catch the food thief." The other elf looked dubious at this, but did as he was asked none the less.

After a few moments of waiting in relative silence, Nym would hear the sounds of a group of people approaching. The mayor came into sight soon afterwards, along with about a dozen farmers - men and women, each of them having the look of a healthy person that worked hard outdoors. All of them seemed to share Dakon's reaction to the sight at the gate, except for Elsa who merely quirked an eyebrow before stepping forward. "So, you're back. I'm glad to see you're not harmed, even if I can't say the same thing about your clothes..." She noted before turning her attention to the satyr and glaring at him. Hard.

"So this is the supposed thief?" She inquired, Vali moving closer to her and giving her the shoes. "Yes, he was using those to fake goblin tracks, apparently." Just like the gate guard, the woman examined them carefully before coming to a decision. "Alright then. Bring him in, I'll question him personally." After giving that order, she turned her attention to Nym. "I'd like you and your... Friends here to go with us too. If he is truly responsible, then we might require their assistance in repairing our relationship with the tribe. I'd like to hear your version of the events as well." Elsa stated.

The goblins grumbled a bit, but they seemed to know better than to try and start something with so many strong-looking elves around. Elsa's glare seemed to be even scarier to them, though, as they seemed to avoid being subjected to it as much as possible. The odd procession moved on, Vali staying back to close up the gate. The group walked into the center of the village, soon stopping in front of a very large house. Elsa entered first, ushering others inside. The building was fairly spacious and well-made, if not opulent. It appeared to be the main hall of the town, containing the mayor's workplace and home as one of the elves explained to Nym on the way.

"Bring him to my quarters and keep him under watch. I'll come to interrogate him in person shortly." Elsa ordered a pair of men who quickly led the satyr upstairs, one of them shaking his head in mock pity. Meanwhile, the other elves began to disperse, altough a few remained. They followed Elsa into the meeting hall, a spacious room filled with chairs and benches where the villagers gathered. Both the elves and the goblins took seats there, glancing at each other uneasily. Elsa bade Nym to walk with her, picking out a pair of chairs and sitting on one, motioning at the girl to sit across her. "Now then. I'd like you to tell me everything that happened in detail, from the moment you left to the moment you've returned. I imagine it must have been quite a ride. Don't omit anything, unless it's absolutely unnecessary. I want to know how everything went."

"Well, after leaving the village I went back to where I had encountered these three previously," Nym said, gesturing to the three goblins, the girl wondering just what was going to happen to that Satyr, "There was a brief scuffle, as they thought I was trying to get back into their territory, and that was how my clothes got damaged. I won, and they then lent me some bandages to cover myself. They also agreed to help me hunt down the Satyr, as they could smell out where he was storing the food. After a search, we found the Satyr's cache and set up an ambush. Once he came back with some more stolen food, we attacked and knocked him unconscious. After that we gathered all his tricks and brought him and the goods back here. The food is still stored at his cache and the goblins can help you find it again if you need to, and you know the rest after we got here.

Nym had to take in a rather deep breath after her long explanation, and desperately hoped the goblins would not bring up the one thing she had left out, and if they did, well, her wrath would be terrible.

The goblins kept silent, listening to the story with only mild interest as they've been taking part in it and thus knew most of it anyway. Elsa paid significantly more attention, one eyebrow rising at the mention of a hidden cache used by the satyr. After spending a couple moments on scrutinizing Nym, she finally spoke up. "As far as I can tell, you're not lying... And I didn't expect a goblin's nose to be this good." She cast the trio a glance. "Very well. I'll go and question our... Guest for a little bit. I'll try to be done with that as soon as possible. In the meantime, I'd like you to wait here for the time being." The elf got up and left, leaving the human with some of her kin and the goblins.

Nym ended up having to wait in the room for about half an hour. Thankfully, both the elves and the goblins were up for a chat if she cared to speak with them, altough talking with both at the same time would require a bit of breaking the ice on her part. Still, soon enough the door opened, with three more elves stepping in. One of them was Dakon, whom she saw before at the gate. The other two were women, one wearing a chef's clothing. "Alright, Elsa managed to get that goat talking. He admitted to everything." Dakon stated, much to the relief of the elves waiting in the room. "She wants us to go and recover everything he stored at his hideout. She's also asking that you guys help us." He turned to the goblins.

"First, she's asking that you lead us to the stolen goods, then come back here. We'll let you stay in the village for tonight, give you food and a place to rest. She'd like to send an apology to your chief tomorrow and she's requesting your help with delivering it." This immediately got the greenskin's attention. Judging by how their confidence seemed to grow, they were clearly picturing themselves recieving congratulations from the tribe on how they got the pointy-ears to admit they were wrong. They graciously went with Dakon and the rest of the elves, leaving Nym alone with only the two women that just entered.

"Hello. You must be Nym, right?" The one in chef's getup asked. "I'm Aisha. My friend here is Lissia." The other one, who was wearing a pretty blue dress, bowed. "We'd like to show our gratitude for helping us with our problem. Elsa would be here to do this as well, but currently she's... Disciplining the satyr. So that he doesn't do it again." This, for some reason, drew a chuckle out of Lissia. "My friend will prepare something to eat for you, I imagine you must be quite hungry by now." The blue-clad elf spoke up. "Meanwhile, I'll take a look at your clothes. I'm the best at sewing in our village, I guarantee I'll have them all fixed up by tomorrow. I've also brought something for you to wear in the meantime." She pulled out a small package that contained a fairly simple, modest dress for Nym to wear.

"It wasn't a problem, I couldn't just let you guys end up building up to a war. But thank you anyways, I have indeed not eaten since I crashed," Nym said, accepting the package from Lissia, and looking for somewhere to get changed. If she failed to find a more hidden area to get changed, then she would strip out of her old clothes and change over to the new stuff quickly and pass the damaged clothes back to the tailor, "And thank you for helping me with these, I don't really know how to sew very well, so they wouldn't have held together to good if I tried to fix them myself."

The two women turned around to avoid looking at Nym as she changed. Once she passed her damaged outfit to Lissia, the elf left after bidding her a good night, looking eager to start working on repairing it. "It'll be a good challenge!" She said. Meanwhile, Aisha led Nym into a large kitchen with a big table in the middle, a few chairs and lots and lots of counters, cupboards, a large pantry as well as spits, cauldrons, pans, kettles, pots and many other things as well as a baking oven. "If you haven't had anything to eat all day, then I'll try to whip up something quick and filling for you." She quickly fired up a large stove. "I've got some vegetable soup I can heat up, but I'll try to prepare something more hearty as well." She declared.

Thankfully, the soup didn't take long to warm up, giving Nym something to eat while Aisha worked on a second course. Potatoes, fried meat in a rich, creamy sauce and some sweet diced carrots to go with that - all of it expertly made, a testament to her skills as a cook. "Eat up, eat up!" Once Nym was done with her food, Aisha began to lead her out of the kitchen and upstairs. Soon she found herself in a corridor with a number of identical doors on each side. "The far one over there is where Elsa sleeps." She pointed at the single door at the very end of the corridor. "Your room is here. The goblins were given another one." The elf walked to a nearby door and opened it, revealing a modest but cozy bedroom with all the necessary furniture - bed, dresser, chest, chair and a small table, a water basin and various implements for cleaning oneself as well as other things Nym might need. There was also a change of nightclothes left on the bed. "I hope you'll have a good night. And once more, thanks for helping us." With that, Aisha bid Nym farewell and left her alone to allow her to rest.

When morning came, Nym awoke to the sounds of activity within the village hall. Once she finished washing up and dressing herself, she'd emerge to find that Aisha was already down in the kitchen working on a breakfast. The goblins were also up and quite energetic, impatiently waiting on their food. Of course, they held themselves in check considering that Elsa was also present. The mayor looked pleased to see Nym again. "Ah, good morning. I hope you've slept well?" She inquired politely. "I've spoken with the satyr you've captured and managed to... Impress upon him what he did wrong. He'll be allowed to live in the village with us, but he'll have to work off what he stole from us first. For all the trouble he had caused, he doesn't seem to be particularly malicious and is rather resourceful."

"Anyway, I hope you don't mind lending us your assistance again." The woman's expression turned serious again. "I'd like to send a messenger to the goblin chieftain along with those three over there." She gestured towards the trio of greenskins at the table. "Alas, during our last meeting I might have been a tad... Less than diplomatic." For a brief moment, she looked ashamed of herself. "I'm worried he might be in a bad mood if he sees an elf coming along with his underlings. Would you be willing to act as our representative?" Elsa asked. "I understand those three like you somewhat and while the chief might be annoyed about you nabbing one of his patrols like this, I think he'll be forgiving if you tell him you've helped clear his tribe's name."

Nym quickly fell to sleep, tired out from the long day and everything it had involved. When she awoke the next day she found that she might have been the last person to wake up, and the goblins were apparently busy trying to not cause a scene about breakfast.

"Indeed I did, the day left me quite tired out so I slept like a rock," Nym said back to Elsa with a smile, "And that's good, I figured that he wasn't too malicious or I would have done more then just knock him out."

Then she listened through the Mayor's description of another request the village had for her, and she already figured this was going to be required anyways. So once Elsa finished she said, "I figured you might ask me to do this before I fell asleep yesterday. So yes I can be your representative."
