Is there a way to raise your capture rate? Because my % for normal 'mons is down to 50% now (at hotsprings area) and the foxgirl boss is 7%, and the LR witch girl in the same area was 3%.
i know about the 100% capsules, but I can't find any way to earn or win them, and this clearly isn't worth spending actual money on.
Am I doomed to slowly dropping capture percentages until I can't catch anything at all? or is there something I can level up to make it easier?
I've been trying to get that fox girl for ages. Doesn't help when it crashes on the capture screne.yep, it even returned me to capture screen=) but now is down again

There is one in every map. They are the ones that "run away" right when you begin a map.
As for the Fox Girl: Yeah, 7% is tough. I had to play A LOT to get her. Some people got her in less than 5 tries. RNG is a bitch.
No, there is no way to increase capture rates at this moment. Can't speak about in the future, maybe they will do something about that. Probably not. Those bosses and Legendary are all uniques, they are supposed to be very difficult.
They all have fixed %. The fox girl is 7%, second boss is 6%, the 4th or 5th boss is 8%.
Difficult? Yeah, probably. But it is meant to be like that.
The 3% one is a Legendary. They are very rare and difficult to capture. I have played the same map over 70 times without seeing even one Legendary. You were kinda lucky to find one.

Is this game like every other nutaku game where you need to level things to max first before increasing rarity to get full stats? Also RNG seems to hate me, 41 attempts to get the first stage boss so far, 23 failed captures and 18 no shows so far...

She, along with the other area girls that show up first are the legend for that area, very rare for them to show up and very rare to catch (3%). Don't really expect to see much less capture unless your will to buy and use a capsule for them.

There is a very low chance for them to appear at the end, where you can try and capture them. The chances to capture them is also very low.
People usually use the banana item to draw them out and use a monster gem to capture them. Sadly, they are both itens that you need to put in real money to buy.
That is the legendary character of the first area. Each area has a legend character, they appear running in the beginning of every area.

Then it would only have upsides and no downsides. Why would anyone even bother doing the maps normally?

Not really just because would make too easy to catch things (barring legends). Need some way to make people want to buy capsules. Just meant for a way to help speed up usage while getting full items/exp, at the cost of only 1/3 drops.

Although it would still be nice if doing 3x did something like increase appearance rate of legendary. I'd like to at least see my first one before player level 30.

i noticed depending on how you touch the mons determines if they show up as catch-able chance or not o.o
i have tested this ((must not have caught her yet))
fox girl - touch ears. does not appear in catch-able chance roll.
touch tail. appears in catch-able chance roll.
tried this more then once. same results.
