Hello everyone!

I want to make a H-Game in RPG Maker. It will all be done in English, and have all original content. I have lots of ideas, and an artist willing to do illustrations for me. I just have a few questions for you all...

What things do you enjoy or dislike in these games?

What are some scenarios you want or have seen overdone?

Are there any fetishes you would like to see in a game? (I will not do scat, beast, or loli, and am not a big fan of futa)

Also, due to the artist taking time to do help with the game, what would make you interested in supporting us?

It really depends on what your artist feel confident drawing, or what they're good at.

• Animations if possible (warning: time consuming)
• Battle rape if possible
• Not the generic and boring RPG maker menu & battle system
• 5-10 cloth sets (warning: this is very tedious work for the artist since he has to do every pose in every outfit)
• Cloth damage
• CG room
• Text skip button and window resize options
• Slow corruption of a heroine
• Uncensored

As for what is generally well liked:

• ScaleGarden games
• Violated heroine
• Aylia's story (fine example in English)
• Magica

Things like crafting and detailed sprite sex are a waste of time in my opinion.

There will be caos, you should first center in fetish ideas and so ask about gameplay elements. But first of all, you should give us a sample of the artist's art so we shall know what he could draw well, like Crawdaddy said. The art is around 50% of the game's final quality, no matter how good the gameplay is.

Considering he is very skilled and can do any type of art well, I would suggest something in present time, because of the lack of H-RPGs like this. My main fetish is one of the two sides dominant and the other still enjoying all, like milfs with young guys or Vitamin Quest, where the girl controls everything. For dominant males there aren't much samples but maybe you can work something like Elements, where the main guy can, besides fuck the girls of the group any time, put them in use by other things to help him.
I don't mind some pregnancy, rape, mind break and others as long they aren't the main focus (again like in Vitamin Quest).

Yup corruption is the best, and I agree with most points made by others.

My own input:
- maybe consider a different setting than your traditional pseudo-medieval european setting or modern Japan. Some tropical island, cursed ruins maybe? Indiana Jones style heroine as an adventurer archeologist facing curses, traps, natives, her fellow adventurers, pirates, wild animals and other dangers -that is something I had in my mind for some time but I'm not the type to start my own h-game, so if by any chance it would interest you, take it.
- it is good to have have H of multiple heroines, to keep things variable, so you could have multiple party members.
- enslavement subplots are among my favorite, especially with increasing punishments when trying to escape
- mind control magic when heroine is controlled but retains her consciousness (a.k.a. "What, I can't stop my hand from moving")
- magic and curses are underused in games in my opinion. What about a curse that makes all clothes she tries to wear disappear? A curse that makes her go feral during the night and fuck anything in sight? A curse that turns pain into pleasure? Curse what makes her orgasm uncontrollably if she disobeys orders? Curse that suspends her spread-eagled in the air until somebody fucks her? And so on.
- lactation as a status effect
- breast expansion either caused by enemies or by an event. Could be connected to the curses as well. But no disgustingly enormous bazongas bigger than the heroine's head.
- no time system where you have to be somewhere at a certain time for an event to happen. Unless you can skip time, you have no day limit until the game just ends, and there are enough hints in the game about what time to be where.
- clothing damage and rape in battle are a must. I really like the system in Defender of Public Morals: Swordswoman Asagi for H battle stuff.
- We need more dark skinned heroines like Nanako from VH!

I do plan to try and incorporate some sort of corruption mechanic! I think those can be really fun if done right!!

I plan to change up the battle system a bit, because I also find the vanilla maker one boring.

The clothing sets idea is a good one... I will have to see what my friend thinks!

I also find the swords and sorcery type games are over done, I am planning to make it more current.

I don't like the time system either, so that will not be there I promise!

What exactly do you mean by "appealing to girls"? Like a girl main character? If so, I am planning on doing that already. What else would you mean?

I get the impression you're doing this just for the money. You obviously don't play these games yourself, if you did, you would know pretty well what most people want in these games.

This is what I like in these games.

1. Quality story and CG
2. Good battle system that is balanced. If there is anything I hate, it's a bloody RPG game with stupid and pointless battles that serve no purpose.
3. Most people prefer female main character
4. Corruption system
5. Music is very essential in these games. Finding a good music for battle will make it so more pleasurable to fight and play the game.
6. Style of the MC? This varies from game to game, but I personally like all MC from Scale Garden games and like Nanako from VH, Rifi from VI and Aty from PF series. She should be cute and have normal/big breasts.
7. Good mapping and nice tiles. Make a city and world look like something. The more little details you add the more the world will come to life and it will be enjoyable to walk around and discover things.
8. Sex scenes? I like GoR, rape, bestiality and all kinds of shit but one thing I really can't stand is loli. I don't judge people that like it, I just don't like it myself. It might be wise to make a poll and ask people what they prefer.

If you want to make good sales balance CG Quality and Gameplay. Make female main character and make all kinds of sex scenes. From groping to raping to romance and other stuff. There is no real limit to scenes. You might want to play a game from Scale of Garden to get the feel of what the game should have if you never played one before. Music and mapping are also very essential and add to the overall feel of the game. Story should make sense and be consistent throughout the game. Adding side quest and side stories to enrich the world might also not be a bad idea, otherwise the world you make might be barren. It is also a good idea to make different clothes for the main character but it's not that important if you real did a good job on the other things. Adding a system for taking off and putting on clothes is really good idea and will make it possible to make tons of different scenes.

Adding extra features to the game like pregnancy system, cloth destruction system, crafting system, card games(casino) system, fishing system and other systems will only enrich the world and make it a really good game but those are really up to you to add or don't add.

Also another thing I love about Defender of public morals swordswoman Asagi is having to rescue party members. It is great when after defeat the game doesn't just end or teleport you back to last checkpoint, but after getting literally screwed you have to escape and get to see what happened to others because you lost that fight Unless it's a boss fight, then a grand game over scene is fitting.

Actually, I am not in this for money at all! I play many of these games myself, and I know what I like in them! I was just asking the community here for inputs on what they would like to see as well! I only asked about the support thing, because if I have an artist doing illustrations and things I will need to pay him...

I am asking him about options for clothing and things today, I do like the idea of having outfits and such! However that is a LOT of work for him haha!

First of all, corruption! lots of it!

Multiple scenes, by that i mean even if cgs are reused i love when there are multiples scenes with different characters in a lot of places while the character gets little by little corrupted, with a good narration i'm all sold for it i really don't need different CG that much.

I vote no for pregnancy, but in that i think i'm a minority, its a well liked fetish so if you put it, it will apeal to a lot of people here, but for me i will like it it was avoidable at the least.

Redhead protagonist with a personality like erza scarlett for example, strong, independent....my oh my, corrupting a female like that is...is... ehem, well, you know

Bestiality, it can start with rape game overs and then find a dog/bear/horse when she has enough corruption and well, you know how it goes.

And to end, i don't mind grinding (Hell my favorite developer of all time is konjikineko, the master of grinding xD) but there are a lot of people that don't want to work hard for porn, i mean, to play a hard game and work hard you play a triple A game, not a rpg maker one. So thats more of your choice.

Making a game is hard, you can have an artist and you can have the skills, but its hard to end the project, you will lose interest (first week people tend to work hours, less the next, even less the next one, I say it from experience) or notice how hard is to please everyone or find how hard is to keep the interest of the comunity or how demanding some people are or how hard is to put together the engine so...

Since you ask about clothes specifically, some additional things I personally like
- swimsuits under clothes and sporty underwear instead of frilly underwear.
- tank tops or tubetops showing the belly button
- short shorts
- ponytails

Also, we could use another dark skinned heroine other than Nanako from VH. Just Saiyan.

corruption. game with lewd meter. i really like it when the slow transition from innocent heroine to a slut. i love how lewd meter do changes on the heroine dialoge when she was having sex or being rape. e.g violated heroine.

bestiality and monster sex is always nice. i always give my heroine virginity to animals or monster instead of human npc.

also forcing your character to walk naked during the day is good and affect npc dialog when you talk to them naked or even allow some npc to do something when your to the heroine when you talk to them naked. e.g violated heroine.

side portrait is good. and also different dress that show in the portrait too. i really boring to see the heroine wear the same clothes. different underwear is good too.

prostitution too. having extra money with H scene bonus is always good.

don't forget to add NTR. having a heroine who's force to have sex with other guy and slowly getting hook on it is while having a relation ship is always awesome.

also lewd status. aphrodisiac medicine or other drug that can make the heroine on heat. even if he has low corruption stat but it will affect her dialog when she's on heat while is force to have sex.

rape on lose. heroine is rape when she lost the battle.

sex battle. the heroine sexually attack by enemies but soon she can also perform sex attack if the her lewd meter is high enough.

violated heroine has lot of good stuff on it but too bad it not finish.

You touch an important part. Since you're paying him for all, you must save money for what is most important. So, don't worry about a lot of different pics with different costumes. Use them, if the case, just in very specific scenes. For her normal portrait and normal scenes, the variation normal clothes/underwear/naked is enough.
Also, like WolfLance said, make these normal scenes in a way which you can reuse them. For example one pic for cowgirl style where she is in the same position, changing just her face and a few attributes like lactation or underwear (insignificant extra work for the artist), and just two generic faceless male bellow, like one normal and other shota. This way, you can easily insert them in the game as you wish for a lot of different NPCs, without spending much money.
Legend of Queen Opala could be soooo improved if Gabe put this in the game
