Story

Natural disasters plagued the kingdom of Arzesto.
Pope Maramon believed them to be the fault of a witch, and his solution
was to form a league of hunters and eliminate all witches.

Sensing the danger to women such a witch hunt would pose,
holy seer Iriyam declared to find the one witch.

Pope Maramon put his plans on hold, and Iriyam began a private crusade.

In the city of Batilda, Iriyam met a witch-like lady named Petra.
That's where the troubles really began.

Game

This game was created with RPG Tkool MV.
The screen size is 800x600 resolution.

Battles are presented in a side view.
There are various weapons that may be weak or strong on enemies.
Battles themselves are easy, allowing you to make quick progress.
It's necessary to make weapon choices and solve traps.

A cheat mode gives the player instant access to all scenes.

Scenes

The game's main scenes are themed on assault, shame and r*pe.
Starting with a virgin deflowering, morals will degrade more and more
with each loss to enemies, who are agents of sexual destruction.

Degraded morals can later be used to lure and maybe act as a trap...?
There are r*pe scenes after losing a battle.

The r*pe is endless until nothing decent remains.
In a prison of hundreds of gangbangers, breasts large and small
may be ravished to rock bottom corruption.
Can you end your crusade without falling so low?

Not at present. RPGMaker MV games are internally using a web browser, and I don't think it's possible to use hooks on it. I'm investigating to see if there's some other way of getting the text out.

I would have translated it as something like "Witch Hunt Crusade~Busty Saints and Flat-chested Witches". Regardless, it's almost like an in-joke to have really long names nowadays isn't it huh?

Yeahh, was laughing myself...looked it up it's sadly just copied from google translate.

I would have translated it to...The big titted holy-woman and the flat chested witch/A crusade to make witches extinct or it could be 'A crusade to make witch hunting extinct' it's kinda confusing... I favour the 2nd meaning...

...anyways, looks like the game has some decent cg art...

It's not so much long names but rather 'eye-catching' name.
Which lengthy name does make people pause, if at least to read the name.

It's because of the format that these are presented (for novels, either it's on shelf so you only see the spine or web one you have list similar to how topics in our forum is shown) even if your work is good unless you can make people take a chance at it then it might as well be shit.

And just having lengthy name (which ironically get shortened to make its own nickname, like Haganai or DunMaji) is a bit easier to pull off than having short but eyebrow raising name (Penisman for example)

I'm wondering if the source of the js files could just be modified. That way the translation would be rendered directly to the game's output.

For example, you could modify the TextManager.getter function using a monkey patch with something like this:

Obviously the translate function would be some external API call. You could set up a little node server app and do it by HTTP request and send that to Atlas. Or there may be some way to use the Atlas API directly.

That's kind of what I was thinking, although my solution would be using WebSockets to pass the message out into a specialised translator program. I had a look at node-ffi and it looks... well... yucky. Also, more to the point, while I'm no expert on JavaScript, I'm not sure there's any library functions to change encoding to the required cp932 for Atlas.

Of course, the other issue is automating the patching process. For unpacked games like this that should be easy, but packed games are going to require a little more finesse (see the topic on unpacking RPGMaker MV games).

My plates a bit full at the moment (lots of stuff to do), but if someone who knows JS better than me can provide a function that would put text out over a socket, I've pretty much already got the specialised translator program ready and waiting to go.

When I try to run game and choose the play option i get an error about a missing img/character/characters%E8%81%96%E5%A5%B3.png Could it be in the wrong folder?
