"I am? I mean.. I know! Nice to finally be acknowledge though." Genius-Fey nodded, following along with the dwarf with only marginal hesitation. She was not the hesitant type of person, unsuprisingly.
"Kinda confused, yeah, not sure what fire has to do with cheating...
A boat just moving with heat? You mean a steam-boat? I mean.. I've not heard of something like that but I guess you can dream up all sorts of things. That said! If you want someone to bring the heat, you got the right phoenix-es."
She nodded slightly, togheter with her familiar, and grinned, looking at the boat.. a bit rund-down by time, but sturdy enough.

She then grinned at the other dwarf.
"Well, I think I got a sollution.. I'll just fire it up so much that it'll either take off.. or burn down... if you don't mind either of the outcomes that is." She chuckled at Flint.

"So, you tried all sorts of things, I guess heating it in various ways was among them too..." She pondered and tipped her chin, hints of little fire sparking under her fingers. "I guess by your reaction nothing happened so far? Well.. fun thing is, most substances have what's called an ignition treshhold.. Long story short, you could actually hold a lighter up to dynamite or Thermite, nothing would happen. Thermite without an igniting mechanism is basically a red powder you can have lying around Only once enough energy is put in can the self perpetuating reaction be set in motion... this boat could work by similiar principles, only storing the energy but showing no reaction until a certain treshold is reached."
Fey tipped her chin.

".. to simplify it. I'm saying that since heating it up propably didn't work, we ought to try MORE heat!" She grinned dangerously, seeming quite up for the task.

The twins glanced over at Fey and Flint, wondered what they were doing, and silently hoped the dwarf knew what he was getting into before returning their attention to the others at the table. “Well, glad you’ve been having a good day, and yeah, the innkeepers are really nice people aren’t they?” Shiroi remarked with a little smirk of her own, and her sibling agreed with a nod and a warm smile, her ears twitching and her tail swaying.

Indeed, it’s quite the boisterous, happy and interesting family Aya’s got going on here, a lot different from her own (true) family of two. Still, maybe it’s her temperament or maybe she’s just used to it, but considering the long run, she did prefer just having her sister rather than a gaggle of uncles, aunts and nieces. It may be fun to have someone to visit though.

By the way, Erfek, what’s up between you and Aya? Not that I’m judging you for anything, but it almost feels like you two share a longer history than we know about.” The albino continued, getting a curious glance from the catgirl who hasn’t been suspecting a thing.

Hmm? What do you mean by that?

It’d hard to put into words, but there’s this feeling of hating someone without actually hating someone. Well, that’s a little extreme, but it’s like that thing people say about old married couples? They whine and gripe all day about how the other sucks and they mean it but there’s also no real animosity behind it and even a bit of affection. Sort of like that? I kind of get that feeling from you towards Aya. Just thought it’d be interesting to point that out. You two aren’t hiding something, are you?” Shiroi stared at the zoog with a raised eyebrow, and very briefly glanced at Aila as well. Maybe she’s thinking too much into this, maybe he’s just holding a grudge over the forced servitude magic Aya put on him. Honestly she’s not expecting any straight answers even if she’s not being overly paranoid, but there’s just something that’s bugging her about the scruffy creature, and it doesn’t hurt to ask.

Meanwhile, the pet wyvern did her chores dutifully, quickly yet carefully collecting the dishes and cutlery from the table and delivering them to the kitchen, squirming and squeaking with pleasure every time her handler passed by with her teasing tail. Though it was a little embarrassing every time she felt Kuroi subtly peeking at her, the wyvern girl’s arousal clear to see with her soft red-faced panting and dreamy expression, she didn’t care to subdue herself anymore. She already doesn’t mind being seen naked, maybe she should get used to being seen as a slutty pet as well~

Not thinking much on her slowly developing exhibitionism, as soon as Korrie finished delivering the last of the tableware to the kitchen sink, she found herself snatched into a corner of the kitchen; while she was taken by surprise and had expected to go to a bedroom or some other more private setting, one look from the succubus was enough to drive any such concerns from her mind, stoking the already burning fires of passion. Being played with in the kitchen was pretty novel too, wasn’t it?

The pet wyvern barely had time for that thought before the tail spearing into her overly-teased snatch blanked her mind, Korrie instinctively reaching out to hold Aya tightly as her back arced from the ecstasy, her cry of pleasure muffled by supple lips pressing against her own. With the state of perpetual arousal she’s been in all night, the girl almost immediately convulsed in a mini-orgasm, but her body didn’t break stride in bucking against the intruding tail and grinding against her handler, tongue coiling and twisting in desperate fervor. The only answer to Aya’s request were moans and gasps of mindless lust, probably the answer she wanted to hear.

Flint grinned happily as he led Fey onto the boat and down bellow deck "Watch yer step, it's a bit low under the ceiling right here" He walked through the hallways until they entered what had to be the engine room and opened it, inside were what was obviously a boiler, but there were no coal, not any storage for coal, instead the heating part of the boiler had a chamber filled with dull orange crystals growing in it, and one of the things Fey would notice when the dwarf opened the door was teh sheer cold, as room was downright freezing, with ice covering the walls and floor close to the different corners between the wall and floor as well as the wall and roof with even a few icicles on the roof itself here and there, it was as if all heat had been sucked out of the room over a short amount of time time "When i bought this hunk o metal, those crystals were glowing so brightly it hurt to look at them and the heat was nearly unbearable and coming from a dwarf that says a lot, though as ye can see, the crystals ain't glowin' no more and I have no idea how to make em glow again" The crystals would prove a pretty hard nut for Fey to crack as any fire lit up in the room would be dragged towards the crystals and absorbed, which would probably explain why Flint had had such a hard time getting the damn thing to work in the first place, though Fey would have one thing going for her, an inexhaustible supply of fire, whereas Flint would have a limited supply due to fuel constraints.
"Well lass, any ideas?" Flint looked at Fey expectantly, with Uldar and Dulgar looking at the two from a safe distance, with a somewhat bored expression "To be honest here, if heat was all we needed and we had enough room Firemaw probably would have been able ta do it, but these narrow hallways can't support something that large, and the wood can't resist the sheer heat of a Hellion, so we have been rather limited in what we can do" "Not to mention the cats would have a heart attack when the damn thing arrives, ye both know that Firemaw is not allowed inside city limits, not even at the harbor" "That too" the two younger dwarves would offer to create some flame for Fey to manipulate should she need too, though she would find that the crystals would make it difficult for her to maintain a flame as the absorption effect would draw the fire and heat into the crystals the moment it was lit.

________

Erfek looked at the twins for a moment, the tentacle "beard" around his face twitching a bit, as if Erfek was trying to come up with a satisfactory answer "It's... complicated, in more ways than one, suffice to say we have a history and let's leave it at that for now, I will tell you more once were out of town and I have had a discussion with Aya about it, not sure how much she is comfortable revealing bout that topic and given the situation I would rather not get her angry at me, thank you very much" Erfek looked up at the twins with an expression that made it clear that any further digging about the topic would be met with dead silence from the Zoog, who after a moment lost interest in the entire conversation and hopped down from the table and disappeared out of the room, leaving the twins and the golem alone, "Huh, what a strange Zoog, not to mention his reason for tagging along didn't really make much sense, then again there might be more to the story than I know" The golem seemed puzzled, and a bit confused as well given the encounter, though she quickly shook her head and refocused on the twins and resumed the earlier conversation about the dreams the twins had experienced.

Out in the Kitchen Aya was smirking as she looked at Korrie's expression "Such a good pet, good pet indeed, just let your mind slide away into a sea of pleasure and lust for a while" Aya continued to tease Korrie and make sure she was well and truly lost to the ecstasy that the was feeling, just as the door opened "Well it would seem you have everything well in hand" Aya looked over to the one speaking and shrugged, before taking out a small phial and while making sure that Korrie was way to lost to pay any attention carefully filled it with her love juices "This will suffice, I take it?" She put a stopper in the phial and casually tossed it to the other person "For now, the twins suspect something by the way" Aya resumed her pleasuring of Korrie, driving home even more pleasure, doing her best to make sure that the Wyvern Girl would remember as little of what was transpiring now as possible, her expression hungry as she had her 2nd dinner for the night, drinking in the lust that Korrie was so eagerly giving off "Not too surprised, the two of them are smarter than they seem, and also have less of pure emotional attachment, seeing as they are not brainwashed out the wazoo, so they can view events more objectively, not to mention erasing their memories takes more than a bit over overwhelming pleasure, given that they are more... reserved in that regard" there was a chuckle from the person Aya was speaking too, and the door closed, leaving Aya and a completely lusted out Korrie alone as Aya, now sporting several horns as well as wings leaned in and gave Korrie a deep passionate Kiss that would send her consciousness spiraling into blackness, as the mere touch of the succubus' lips would hit her mind with a re-enactment of when she had her "reward" at the museum, provided Korrie woke up before sunrise, she would find herself lying in bed, with Aya beside her, sleeping soundly, with her arm and tail possessively wrapped around the wyvern-girl, whether she remembered anything of the conversation in the kitchen, only time would tell.

Fey whistled softly, wandering down under deck with the dwarf, still full of energy. "Oh, cool. Negative enthalpy." She remarked, thinking to recognize the freezing.
"Well, they's certainly not hot anymore. Whatcha think partner? . eeep." She mused, stepping over to pick up one of the crystals.
Of course, dragging fire towards it, the gems had a side effect of undressing Fey, who'd been as nude as Korrie, but more easily emberassed about it, covering herself in a cloak of flames and now clearing her throat and shifting subtly. "Well, let's see.. A flame pretty please.. hoi... " She watched the flame drawn into the crystals annoyedly. "We're lucky these things seem to get weaker the less hot something is, else they'd lower the temperature to dangerous levels.. that also means the hotter you make it, the more they'll draw the flames in. Actually good I learn that there's things like these in the world now rather than when someone suckles my flames away.." She put the crystal down and then clasped her hands together.

"Hellion-Schmelion. I got an idea, sure... more fire! All you need is a limitless supply of flames." She grinned and, with only a slight blush, flicked her fire-necklace. "All I need to do is make sure I don't create more than those gems can absorb... let's take a few step back, I can't create flames only manipulate them. Everyone stand behind me. Oh.. and just to be sure, you might want to grab something to extinguish any.. excess." She grinned a dangerous.. oddly happy grin, musing to Flint, with just a hint of emberassment remaining at her exposed self. A little too early she asked: "Thinking about it, this is just my dream self.. but you know.. in my dreams, or in reality, my fires have little limit. Everyone ready? Great!" She crossed her hands over one another, a flame blossoming into life between them as her eyes took on an orange glow.. before a massive blast of fire into the engine room, aiming at the crystal trying to fight a slightly maniacal laughter.

"Bwahahahahaa! Wooo! Fire of the Flames!" She enthused, her energy turning into more of a continous stream of fire from one hand, the other playfully shooting smaller fireballs left and right, seeming to take some frustration out on the crystals, almost. "Mwahahahaa yeah! Fire-beam!" She raised two fingers, concentrating for a few moments, before unleashing a concentrated blast of hot-white fire.
After unleashing well over a hundred fireballs upon the heat-absorbing gems and both keeping her flame burning and a stream of fire going to feed the crystals, a hint of sweat evaporated from Fey's forehead, as she felt the first, dull, odd aches of a beginning tiredness, more from the mental strain and physical movement than the direct control of fires. Flickering flames curled around her like an old friend, keeping the flames rushing out with only one hand, she flexed the other and looked over to Flint.
"Pfew. I'm not gonna lie, I'm not exactly exhausted but.. I never felt like this. It's strange. Another problem.. you know... it's actually some effort to fire this up.. that means this ship wont work for long without a dedicated pyromancer on board. The Twins could charge it.. once they're grown up. But.. heh.. You know.. whenever I become tired one way or the other, as long as I'm not injured as well, my natural regeneration kicks in and keeps me going, so stamina is way above what you'd get normally." She chuckled, lowering her hands, briefly catching her breath.
She grinned, leaning up against the ship's wall, stretching, and declaring, her supple nude form still on display with the stones suckling up her remaining fire. She genuinly looked just a little more exhausted than she wanted to admit however.
"And we need to go to over the oceans .. weird yellows library place to steal his pancake to save mistress.. so... I could keep doing this for days." She declared, nodding to herself. She could help mistress. With fire. There was no question on what to do for her. What kind of awesomest of all pyromancers and fire-phoenix elementals would she be if a few energy-drained crystals beat her? She'd heat them up hotter than Flint had seen them!

"Let's try something more serious now. Flame Empress - Focused Fire!" She declared, taking a few steps closer to the crystals now, creating a flame of red that then slowly yellow-orange, then slowly a white, almost painful to look at hue, before losing all color, but for a tiny, blue speck, with Fey posing dramatically, seeming satisfied with herself as the blue flame shot forth, coiling almost playfully, slowly around the crystals.. before Fey stopped, panting, stumbling almost.
"Pfewww.. haaah.. haaah.. Bit woozy." She declared. "Everything above three thousand degree's is suprisingly.. ugh..." She rubbed her forehead. "Fey's gonna do.. a .. nap now.. yeah.." She decided, yawning, and half lying down, half collapsing, unless someone assisted her there.. On the upside, if any kind of heat was the sollution to the ships fuel problem, she had provided an abundance.

(Letting Fey do a snooze to allow you to cut to tomorrow for everyone. Also, heh, still amused that in a way the .. fiery tempered Fey is the one working most loyal to the cause itself. :p)

The twins stared at Erfek while he vaguely explained himself, Kuroi innocently surprised and curious, while Shiroi raised an eyebrow in suspicion, but accepted that’s all she’s gonna get out of the zoog for now. “Alright, fair enough. Thanks for being honest about that.” The albino said, her eyes following Erfek as he headed out of the room, then shared a glance with her sister. So, Erfek and Aya do share a secret history afterall… That means the whole ‘trying to attack and enslave the party’ thing that got Erfek indentured was an act. But why? What’s the purpose in hiding their relations? Is the zoog not just any zoog, but someone really important in disguise, like a prince pretending to be a pauper? Is the zoog… not a zoog at all?

Aila’s interjection snapped the twins out of their individual ponderings. “I never thought about it much, but after that I’d have to agree. I wonder what they’re hiding…” Kuroi mused, throwing a glance at where the zoog left through, “By the way, when he spoke to you in that other language, what did he say? It sounds like the story he gave you isn’t the same as what we know.” She continued to ask. Either way, after the issue of Erfek’s hidden past was put aside, the twins were more than happy to continue their earlier conversation about their dreams, topics branching off to legends of treasure-filled temples and other festivals of the dream world as well as stories from the waking one, until late into the night when everyone was tired enough to head to bed.

---

While the twins merrily talked away the night with Aila, Korrie continued to be a good little puddle of lust for her handler, her tongue lolling out while she drooled in mindless bliss, clinging on tightly to the succubus while her nethers clenched around the intruding tail. Her eyes were rolled back and unfocused, and the slutty pet wyvern didn’t notice a thing while Aya collected some of the love juices that were gushing plentifully from her hungry snatch. Though she was very vaguely aware of a conversation going on, her mind only barely alerted itself enough to perceive that she was not the one being addressed before she simply lapsed back into animalistic pleasure, paying the conversation nor the unknown visitor any attention while she continued to squirm and buck against the tail, shivering in another small orgasm that barely slowed her down. In fact, she seemed to subconsciously moan a little softer as not to interrupt her handler, like the good pet that she is.

Then, not even noticing Aya’s true succubus form, Korrie felt her handler’s lips on her own for a split second, and the next she found herself on the verge of waking up in bed, echoes of a mindmelting climax making her shiver with delight. Still tired and only half-awake, she felt herself lying on a soft mattress and covered by a warm blanket, with someone hugging her. She managed to see who it was through bleary eyes, smiled, and huddled closer before letting herself drift back to sleep again, enjoying the feeling of skinship and the scent of her handler. She couldn’t really remember what happened last night after playtime began, other than the echo of pleasure that her now increasingly sex-hungry body remembered, but that was enough for her. She only hoped she’d get to experience that more today…

With her body still affected by her conscious and sub-sconscious self-perception, her growing acknowledgement and acceptance of her developing nymphomania made some minor changes to her by the time she’s woken up by Aya later. An arcane-looking heart-shaped tattoo appeared over her crotch, emerald green as was her color theme, and when she opens her eyes, the centers of her pupils would be heart-shaped, no doubt influences from certain forms of art she’s enjoyed.

((It's not that surprising, Korrie might be able to focus better in the short-term if motivated, but her inability to stay focused on long-term commitments is what ruined her academics. It's very easy for her to lose track of the end goal by in-the-moment excitements. Both the twins also lack the level of emotional attachment the two pets do, so while they do want to help, they don't have as much of a sense of urgency. And, honestly, OOC-wise, I myself am trying not to make the impression that I'm rushing the campaign since I like the exploration and side activities, even though IC-wise Christine being lethally poisoned isn't exactly something to take their sweet time dealing with. Fey should totally get a special reward for being the most loyal and focused though =w=))

When Fey woke back up she would find herself tucked into a comfortable bed with a thick and fluffy down duvet keeping her warm, looking around she would also see that she had been moved into a rather nice room, the walls were covered in carvings depicting birds in flight and she would find her phoenix friend napping on a pair of antlers stuck to the wall, the sunlight where peeping in through a crack in the sky-blue curtains and she could hear the sound of people moving along outside the window, looking around some more she would also notice the tray with soup next to her, said soup were giving off steam and a taste would confirm that it also had plenty of chili peppers in em, it was likely that whomever had made the soup had been informed about Fey's taste in foodstuffs, there was also a short note from Aya that started to spill it's content out loud the moment Fey tried the soup "That was reckless off you last night, I gave Flint an earful about it once I saw the results of his little "favor" that being said, you did well Fey good job, I am leaving this with the soup as I have no idea when you will wake up, also once you have finished the soup there will be a little reward for you" the most likely reason for this magical deliver was because Aya knew that Fey's ability to focus were.. limited when it wasn't something interesting and she probably wouldn't pay attention to the note if she had to read it herself, the reward itself would materialize once Fey finished the last of the soup, whereupon a single Yoggoth pepper would materialize on her plate along with a note stating that everything in the room were fireproof and she could safely enjoy it.

_________

The twins would wake up the next morning by someone gently nudging them back and forth "Umm... Maeve wanted me to wake you up so you could get breakfast" The nudging would continue until both were roused from the double bed they had shared that night, their room had a dark blue and yellow coloration as the carvings on the wall were stars and planets covering a night sky, rather than birds in flight even the duvet were a deep marine blue, even so with sunlight pouring into the room, it couldn't be that long after sunrise given the positioning of the window itself and the pale light pouring in "Common, please get up, I don't wanna have to get mean about it" the nudging continued, a bit more forceful this time, followed by the duvet being firmly removed from both of them as Aila continued to look down on the twins, a slight blush on her face even as she looked down at the two, despite this she continued to urge the two to get up so they could follow her down for breakfast.

________

Unfortunately for Korrie she would not get to enjoy her snuggling for much longer as Aya started to stir and wake up a short while later, the outside of their window showing that the sun were rising "Common girl, up and at them, it's breakfast soon" Aya were, quite unsurprisingly, feeling quite refreshed and well rested after absorbing energy from Korrie pretty much the entire night the two had been sleeping, the wyvern-pet having been giving of lust and pleasure in waves so big she hadn't even needed to draw it out, the best kinds of meals, really, a quick look around would show Korrie that the room she shared with Aya were surprisingly simple, the double bed were no surprise, but the room itself were much more furnished and personal than the ones that the others had been in, with a bookshelf of books, a writing desk and a small chest at the foot of the bed, Aya herself were already up and about and were busy looking through the nearby dresser and numerous clothes hanging inside, which meant this was probably her own personal bedroom.

"Oooh.. comfy!"
Fey enthused. It wasn't like she -needed- to keep warm, but she didn't mind it either. The bird-flying carvings would have her halt however. She never 'got' how the whole sleeping within a dream thing worked after all, what if you were getting ever deeper into another dream-layer and didn't wake up? What if Christine had been another dream..

She stopped pondering about it before she got a headache. If this was a dream of hers, there'd be no blue curtain or antlers. "Oooh soup.." She tried to slurp it, before briefly looking around for Aya, then shrugging, slurping on on her reward-soup. "Reckless schmeckless. Why's no one get I can heal from most things." She noted. As long as it wasn't hypothermia, she'd been good, really. At this point, she'd decided Aya was just like some sort of grandmother, always worried.

She also cheered at the pepper appearing, and, not sure what she was rewarded for, nommed it up.

There was a faint sheen of fire under the door to her room after that.. and a little while later, a grinning and once more harmless fire-clad Fey was petting her phoenix-pet and peeking out of her room lazily.

Though the night had been relatively peaceful, the exhaustion from their time in the tournament and the excitement from the fireworks display finally caught up with them by the time they went to bed, and the twins slept soundly through the night and well into the morning. It took some nudging to rouse either of them, Kuroi making sad little mewling noises while she tried to go back to sleep, ears twitching, while her sister grumbled something unintelligible and rolled over. It wasn’t until the duvet was finally yanked off them that the two finally (and reluctantly) got up, yawning and rubbing their eyes. Whatever annoyance they felt disappeared upon spotting Aila though. “Oh, Aila…? G’morning… Sorry you had to wake us up like that…” Kuroi said sleepily, her mind still not all there yet.

Shiroi’s head cleared a little faster, looking out the window at the sunlight peering in, then instinctively checking her immediate surroundings for a clock. “Hey Aila, g’morning. Didn’t think they’d send you to get us. You slept well?” She asked, stretching her arms, then looking over at her sibling and indulging the urge to reach over and pet the catgirl. The catgirl was pleased.

Getting off the comfy bed, the two girls chatted with Aila if she had anything she wanted to talk about while they groomed themselves, especially brushing their long hair that had become a mess overnight. Neither of them really bothered to appreciate the décor of the room before they fell unconscious, but the two did so now while they made themselves presentable. Kuroi made a note to herself to consider a similar starry design when they eventually have their own home. Finally, the two and Aila headed downstairs for breakfast. There’s another long day ahead with the remaining rounds of the tourney…

---

Though a little disappointed she didn’t get to snuggle for much longer, Korrie dutifully got up once her handler did, stretching her body. She felt a bit sore after last night, but it was a good, satisfying kind of sore, like after a productive workout. Not that she’s ever HAD a productive workout, she wasn’t much of a sporty type prior to becoming a pet. “Good morning, Aya! Did you enjoy Korrie last night?” She asked, a happy blush on her face again as she thought about their little session together, even if it was mostly memories of sensations rather than sight and sound. Having no need for clothes, the pet wyvern simply looked for a mirror to groom herself, noting her surroundings to likely be Aya’s own room. If she were to find one, before anything else she’d notice the new aesthetic changes that happened overnight. Willing the new crotch tattoo and the heart-shaped pupils back to normal for a few seconds just as an experiment to see if they were from herself or not, the wyvern girl giggled and brought them back. There’s something about being marked as a horny thrall of sorts that turned her on. She didn’t think she used to be an exhibitionist before meeting Mistress, despite the whole ‘not wearing clothes’ thing, but she’s okay with this development.

Upon opening the door Fey would find herself in a hallway that was clearly on the 2nd floor, if the stairs to her immediate right was any indication, she could hear voices downstairs as well as the sound of people walking about and the usual noises one would expect in an inn such as this, the hallway itself was pretty much deserted, not surprising given that patrons would be unlikely to actually get rooms at this time of day, just as Fey closed the door behind her she would however notice that Dulgar was walking up the stairs with a tray of food in his hands though he stopped when he saw Fay "Well I'll be, yer awake! Aya said ye'd be up and running again in no time yesterday, no matter how feckless you are being, but the rest of us were certain you'd be down an out for a few more hours at least, just what are ye made off anyho?" he shook his head and turned around again Ye might as well follow along, this tray were supposed ta be for you, as well as the soup would have started to cool by now, guess ya don't need it now do ye, or do ya want some more soup?" the Dwarf lifted the tray to show Fay another bowl of the spicy soup, though no pepper, that being said any answer would have to be postponed as the door to another room opened and Aya stepped out, quickly followed by another door this one with the twins and Aila.

____________

Aila fidgeted a bit as she waited for the two to get up "Umm, about yesterday, remember the question you asked and I blatantly ignored, well, it was be cause I were unsure about what to say" she continued to fidget, I am... honestly not sure I should tell you what was said, as the implications are... worrying when you look at it from certain contexts and the last thing I'd want was to be mistaken and make you take the wrong decision or jump to the wrong conclusion.... sorry..." She continued to stare at the two for a moment, before helping them getting dressed once they finally got that far, the conversation petering to other subjects, like today's tournament "The Officials for the tournament came around and it resumes this afternoon, meaning the final round should be somewhere somewhat late, provided you make it that far... however there are some... worrying rumors abound with the spectators, I hope they are wrong but... if they aren't I... " The golem looked genuinely worried about it as her words petered out into a rather strong blush , though she seemed to happily distracting herself from whatever rumor had her worried as she scurried around to help the girls get dressed and their hair combed, the work seemed to calm the overly nervous Golem down, though both girls would be able to notice the faint blush on her face as she combed them, though Aila herself seemed unaware of it, with the hair combed and clothes on she led the way out into the hallway, where she saw Fay and Dulgar chatting about something.

________________

Korrie would be in luck as there was a full-length mirror sitting next to the dresser, giving her a perfect view of her entire body, as she was standing there admiring herself Aya rose from her bed and calmly made her way over, embracing the wyverngirl from behind, her tail playfully slipping across the girls thighs "Oh I did, Korrie, you were absolutely scrumptious" her tail played along the tatoo's edges "That's cute, though I am glad I don't have to explain that one for Mistress back in the waking world, as I am not sure she would approve that I encouraged you to get such fancy tattoo's with without her go-ahead, nice touch with the eyes though, makes you seem perfectly charmed" she leaned in and happily toyed with Korrie's fun-bags for a few seconds, each touch sending a small shock of pleasure into Korrie's brain with the use of magic, her own eyes now being emerald green and obviously slitted as she gazed at Korrie in the mirror with an amused expression, once Korrie's eyes finally looked somewhat distant due to lust Aya would release her, so close to the edge but not over it "That look fits your new eyes perfectly, I think, no cumming now as that would ruin it" her tone making it impossible to tell wether she was serious or not before she ushered Korrie into the hallway where they ran into the others.

_______________

Aya looked down the hallway and upon seeing the rest of the crew smiled "Good, you are all up and running I see, Dulgar, how long until breakfast?" Dulgar paused his conversation with Fay for a moment "Oh about.... 10 more minutes, tops, serving for the guests are nearly over so we will be able to grab a bite after that's over with he pivoted on his heel and after handing Fay the tray with the soup unceremoniously made his way down again "I would stop to chat, but we still have to finish off that mess in tha Forge from yesterday now that we don't have to take soup up ta Fay every 10 minutes to ensure it's hot" he gave Fay another smile and a thumbs up before surhing down the stairs and making a racket as he did. Before anyone else could do anything Aya calmly ushered the group towards the stairs as well "Well everyone we have a big day ahead of us, but before we start to focus on that I insist that we have breakfast, as without proper food in our belly you won't really get the energy to get up to shenanigans today, as for you Fay, nice work with the Crystals yesterday, though using so much that you fainted was somewhat overboard, please don't do something like that again, I were genuinely worried" Aya's expression was unusually serious as she walked over and placed ah and on Fay's shoulder while she looked at her without a hint of humor in her face, even so Fay would probably be surprised when something tickled her inner thigh a few moments later, and aya's completely serious demeanor broke into a small smirk, her tail being the culprit of the earlier sensation.

With that done the group were herded down the stairs and into a small hallway behind the main lobby, the hallway was surprisingly well lit, despite not a torch nor window was in sight in this interior hallway, nor was there any lamps to be seen on the walls, as they walked the group could hear noises, were now full of people on their way to the common room for their breakfast, meanwhile Aya took the girls to the same room that they had eaten dinner in the night before, it was already prepped with different foods for the group to eat and Flint, Uldar and Dulgar as well as the twins were already waiting for them, with the twins seeming particularly eager for them to hurry up, given their wolfish and hungry stares at the food.

"Fire, spice and everything nice!" Fey grinned at the question. "I'm not only an awesome source of fire, I also recover a lot faster than normal people. For that I'm told I have a whats it.. weird attention span." She looked at the soup. "I mean, I liked the first soup, perhaps we can pack that one up for later..." She nodded, holding her left shoulder and flexing her arm. "My arms kinda asleep though.. meh.." She wiggled her fingers to encourage their circulation.

"Welp, guess I'm a waitress now. Who wants some soup? Might be more spicey for other folks." She cheered and presented her tray in the way an overacting waitress would, to anyone within range.
"I keep telling people not to worry about me, as long as it's not an ice-elemental based attack, hypothermia, or I'm literally impaled or somesuch, you dun have to worry, just put me in a warm, comfy spot, and I will wake up. Especially burn-wounds heal quickly. Downside is I need to drink super fast if I wanna get wasted.. Oh, right, Mistress Christine even went overboard with lewd mind-stuff and I came out of it being more resilient to teases and.." She mieeped a little at the tail-tickling.

"So, the ships up and running? When will we be starting the journey?" Fey inquired on the way, and, seeing everyone ready to eat, decide to eat some more soup for herself, waving to the twins, and creating a tiny fire-horse to gallop over the table and neigh some smoke at the twins, if no one stopped her bad eating-habit shenanigans.

Oh, yeah, that thing about Erfek.” Shiroi blinked, a little taken off guard by Aila suddenly bringing that up again. She thought it was just some kind of secret that the golem girl was honoring and left it at that. Though Aila wasn’t exactly telling them now, what she was saying was indeed concerning. What did Erfek say that made the normally rational golem girl worried she and her sister would overreact? “…Well, as worrying as that is, I’m gonna trust your judgement on this. If you think it’s a secret that’s safe to keep, then I won’t force it.” The albino smiled a little half-heartedly, and her sibling nodded as well.

I don’t think Aya would really try to hurt us, and she’s in on this secret afterall. Maybe we should let this play out as she wishes. You’re not really known for having a long fuse neither, sister, it’s a valid concern.

I know, I know.” Shiroi rolled her eyes. She didn’t like the fact some kind of serious conspiracy is going on in the background, and she wasn’t as trusting as her sister, but she did trust Aila and Aya enough to let the topic slide for now.

With that out of the way, the two got out of bed proper to dress themselves up for the day, particularly grateful for the help with grooming their long hair. The small talk drifted towards the continuation of the tourney today, and more worrying rumors about it. “…Rumors? What kind of rumors?” Shiroi asked, creasing her brow, though her concern turned to intrigue when she noticed the slight blush on the golem girl. What’s that about? Come to think of it, hasn’t Aila been acting a bit more flustered around her and Kuroi since last night? Granted they literally met yesterday and the golem girl only had most of her humanity returned to her very recently, maybe she was originally this timid? It’s kind of cute, really. Shiroi had to resist the urge to reach out and pet Aila as well.

---

Admiring the new cosmetic upgrades she gave herself, Korrie noticed her handler approach and wondered how she’d respond. She got her answer fairly quickly, shivering with delight as she felt Aya’s tail brushing against her skin. “That’s good to hear~” The pet wyvern giggled, both from the slightly ticklish feeling of the tail and her own giddiness at being praised for last night. The fact Aya seemed to really like her new even more enthralled appearance only made her happier, her cheerful smile parting in a lustful moan as hands toyed with her soft pillows. She squirmed a little involuntarily from the sensations but otherwise stayed still for her handler’s enjoyment, and by the time Aya was done, Korrie was a little like she was yesterday, functional but horny and craving, her eyes slightly glazed with desire and breathing heavy, a cute pink haze over her face. Her nudity also made her hardened teats and moist nethers all the more apparent. “Yes, handler~” She sighed dreamily, appreciating her own slutty, submissive appearance as well.

---

Having finished dressing up for the day, Shiroi and Kuroi entered the hallway to find themselves joined by everyone else as well, all having slept next door to each other apparently. The dialogue from Fay and Dulgar drew their attention first, then Aya’s voice, the two turning to see the succubus… and Korrie. Kuroi’s face quickly went red before she looked back towards the dwarf and phoenix, while Shiroi (also blushing) squinted at them in a ‘You serious?’ manner, at Korrie in particular.

…You sure Christine’s not gonna mind you getting stolen from under her by Aya?

Huh? Oh, you mean these?” The wyvern girl pointed at her eyes and new tattoo, “Korrie did this to herself, kind of accidentally, dream world self-perception magic stuff. They’re cute though, so Korrie’s keeping them~

Shiroi stared judgingly for a moment longer before looking away. And here she thought the wyvern couldn’t be more broken in than she already was. She’s gonna have to make sure they don’t try to make her sweet innocent Kuroi end up that way.

Kuroi, meanwhile, distracted herself with Fey’s little waitress act. Despite the feast they had last night, she was feeling a bit peckish for breakfast… “Soup? I’d love some!” She smiled, taking a step towards the phoenix before she paused. “Wait. What soup is that, actually?” She asked, now hesitant. She was suddenly reminded that Fey’s ‘spicey’ could be very painful for everyone else…

Though either way, the group was then ushered downstairs by Aya for breakfast, so the catgirl didn’t have to worry about it. The two sisters, as well as Korrie, instead listened in on Aya’s conversation with Fey, wondering just what the phoenix girl has been up to last night. Something about powering crystals and a ship? “Oh? Did we find a functioning ship?” Korrie asked, feeling eager to continue on their quest now that there’s talk of progress. The twins held a little less urgency.

Not that progressing isn’t important, but can we wait until tonight to set off at least? I’d like to finish the tourney before we go.” Shiroi remarked, which drew a bit of ire from Korrie.

Saving Mistress is more important than your tourney, you can just come back next year!

Christine will be fine even if we take an extra day, I’m sure, whatever wards are keeping her stable should be strong enough to give us some leeway. Besides, weren’t you talking about how you wanted to go back to the dragon convent today?” The albino retorted, which managed to make Korrie look away guiltily. She did want to visit again, especially after the abrupt end yesterday…

Either way, the three settled down once they reached the dining hall to eat, the twins trying to sit with Aila while Korrie stuck with Aya as usual. None of them really spoke up about Fey’s antics, rather entertained even, watching the fire-horse while they ate. Korrie wasn’t afraid to eat as much as she wanted, enjoying a much heartier breakfast than she’s used to, while the twins tried to refrain from eating too much before the tourney. Shiroi would ask Aila about the tournament rumors again if she hadn’t answered earlier.

Aya looked over at Fey and and shook her head "The boat is still at a stand still, but you recharged the crystals a great deal, to the point where Maggra and the spitfire twins can manage to finish the job without much of an issue, provided the spell I cast to figure out what in the world happened in the engine room last night were correct at any rate and seeing as Maggra haven't been carried in on a stretcher I am confident that it is not dangerous for them and the kids seemed to enjoy being able to let loose some as well, I should think you can relate Fey, seeing as you are the one here who can understand what they are going through the best, not even Maggra, for all her power with fire magic can truly understand fire the way you three can, nor feel it's preferences as keenly" She paused and took a deep breath, her coy smile taking on a more serious tone, before disappearing all together

"Besides even if the boat were ready we still would need to wait as we need provisions and gear for the trip ahead, I were expecting to pick that up in Dylath-Leen but things have changed, mostly due to some news I received yesterday night while you all were sleeping, in short Dylath-Leen is no longer a safe place for us to make a prolonged stop and having to spend a few days there to prep for the trip to Celephaïs would be an extreme risk, at worst it could be the end of us all, at best it would likely delay us more than it would be worth, I will explain the reasons why in more detail once we are on the boat tomorrow, no need to sour the day with bad news, I will say this however, while we are in Dylath-Leen, NO ONE moves alone, not even me" She looked at the girls in order as she spoke, clearly the news she had received were bad, as her voice didn't allow for complaints to even begin to surface.

"Well today is just full of interesting news isn't it?" while Aya were talking Maeve had entered the room carrying some more plates that she sat down on the table before taking her own seat and indicating that everyone could begin to eat, to which the small twins eagerly complied "Hmm? More news?" Maeve nodded, "Some info on one of the contestants yesterday didn't add up and we did a double check on her..." Maeve looked at Shiroi and Kuroi "You girls be careful in the tournament today, I am serious, and you Aya you be careful too, that contestant is a Mask" Aya, who had been in the process of swallowing some tea, nearly choked on it as she turned to look at Maeve "A Mask, are you serious?" Maeve nodded "Whi-We don't know, the readouts are consistent with a Mask but it's not one of the known one thousand, it might be a Lost Mask, or maybe a trap for you Aya, either way be careful, all three of you, as I doubt this is a coincedense, given your next destination" Aya nodded slowly and mumbled something under her breath, before she shook her head, clearly having made up her mind about something.

"Damn it, I guess there is no choice, Fey and Korrie you are coming with me, I know you probably had plans for today but this is too important and I will need your help, same goes for you Erfek, as for you Aila, keep the twins safe, if they really come up against that Mask they will be hard pressed to survive, as the wards in the arena are nowhere near strong enough to deal with something of that magnitude" Aya looked at Aila for a moment, who just silently nodded, a determined expression creeping over her face as she looked at the twins, before it crumpled under a slight blush and a dreamy expression instead, before she shifted her gaze over to a small side table where Erfek were sitting, happily gnawing on a nut of some kind, the Zoog looked up from it's meal and looked at Aya for a moment, almost as if considering how to respond, before it slowly started to nod "Fair enough, I can guess what you have planned and I guess there is no choice, given the circumstances, was just hoping we could save that for later... much later, if ever" the rodent looked about as happy as a man who had been told he had a terminal illness as it continued to gnaw at the nut, now with much more gusto and determination than before.

"Wait huh?" Fey made, finally noticing Korries tatoo and listening on in. "Did that to yourself huh.. didn't know you could make sweet tats like this, I think I want to have a golden phoenix on my arm, and below that it should say 'Awesome'" She comissioned. "I kinda played with the idea of getting a tatoo, but you know, healing factor doesn't play nice with 'em.."

She seemed a little incredulous at Aya's recounting of the state of the boat.
"The heck? Those things are still not fired up full? I've dumped like a quarter sun into those crystals, give or take a forest-fire, let's hope they've got a stable enthalpy gradient, you know, in case someone drops one.

Fun fact, if you talk to fire, it's preferance is mostly towards burning things." Fey imparted behind half-lifted hand, as if this was some universal secret. Then, leaning closer to Aya, she added: "Korrie's been giving me a look.. think she's flirty today. We've been seperated a little, think we might need some private pet snuggle time.."
She nodded.
Fey didn't complain about Aya's instructions, but the eldritch-mage could be excused for a nagging suspicion that this was because the fire-mage had tuned out about midway through them.

"Huh. Didn't think the festival was still going on.. hrmn... I really did not have any plans to be honest..." She tipped her chin.

"Hey, so, crazy idea. If this mask-stuff is so dangerous, perhaps Kuroi and I should trade places? It can't be too hard to get a Kuroi-disguise going, and let's be honest, Shiroi and I are more of our heavy hitters, Kuroi's abilities are not that great in a direct fight."

She shrugged and peered over to Kuroi. "No offense and all girl, your modifying... stuff is pretty neat and I bet you got awesome monochrome synergy powers, but if raw power can be helpful... wait why is there actually a -need- to fight in the tournament at all, if it's super dangerous.." She looked over to the golem girl... She looked to Aya.. Then back to Shiroi and Kuroi. She wiggled her eyebrows.
"Is it because the prize is gonna be more sex gole- Ow! Hey whose elbow was that I was just thinking about a thing!"

Though still fully under control of herself, the horny Korrie couldn't help but throw some naughty glances at her sister pet, brief fantasies about having a threesome with her and their handler. She still didn't consider the twins a part of the family though, even if she did like the ravenette.

Shiroi smiled smugly at Korrie, who was slightly annoyed that Shiroi was getting her way but at the same time glad that she could visit the dragon convent again today, at the mention that they would need provisions before they set off either way, though that bit of mirth quickly faded at the mention of bad news. “What kind of danger are we talking about? General, applies-to-everyone danger, or is something targeting us specifically?” Shiroi was the first to ask, though concern was written on the faces of both the twins and Korrie.

Nonetheless, the details were promised for later, and so the three tried their best to push those worries to the back of their minds and just enjoy their day before they begin their journey into this unknown peril. Unfortunately, breakfast was soured by yet more concerning news. The twins looked at Maeve, then at Aya, then Aila, then at each other.

Korrie looked a bit crestfallen that she won’t get to finish her tour at the dragon convent’s museum afterall, but this sounded actually really important, so she’ll just have to suck it up. Maybe she can at least visit long enough to say good bye before they set off. “Understood. Just tell Korrie what to do!” She nodded determinedly, eager to do something ‘productive’ nonetheless.

In the meantime, the twins waited for an explanation. And waited. And waited. Shiroi was looking progressively frustrated, and Kuroi, noticing this, decided to try defusing the bomb by asking it first.

Umm… What is a-

Though Fey butted in just as she started, which still had the accidental effect of distracting Shiroi at least.

…Granted, you have a point, she’s versatile but lacks raw power. However, I doubt people won’t notice if her powers suddenly changed from rune magicks to fire control, with a complete personality change. That, and we just synergize better.” She countered, her voice calm and collected in a restrained sort of way. “More importantly though…

And then, her anger flaring up again, Shiroi started glaring over at Aya, even though her ire was also directed at a few others, just to a lesser degree. “What the hell is a Mask? And no, no more ‘I’ll tell you later’ BS, no more secrets, not when me and my sister are actually going to be fighting this Mask guy today, this Mask guy who is apparently deadlier than a friggin’ Hellion and actually poses a lethal threat to us, ward or not! So just tell us, please, what is a Mask, what do they do, how do we fight one, and why does it sound like someone sent them to assassinate us?

(I felt like responding moar!)

"I can -pretend- like my magic is rune-based and act more like Kuroi. I think. Uhmm.. uh.. Ki..kitties?" She offered, before chuckling at Shiroi. "Eh, relax. Aya does this no tell thing all the time, just don't think about it, make sure to look out for someone masked or.. mask styled or who just happens to look intimidating and have this nickname and wing the rest, is what I do, you get used to it." She shrugged, revealing that her lack of listening to Aya might have been at least to some degree the womans fault as well.
"Plus remember the dream-ward, if you take any serious damage, you are just awoken up. I actually considered testing that thing on myself because I wouldn't die from what'd be lethal to one of you, but no clue if you can come back to us by sleeping again or if you pop right back up at the fields we started in.. that said, considering we continue fucking about here, wasting time whilest mistress is literally dying means you can catch up no problem anywhooo." She said, and it was hard to gauge if a more serious edge had snuck itself into her voice there in response to Shiroi showing more serious concerns herself.
"Seriously though, we're literally in an inn with yummy yum cooking for us and you can't somehow scrape provisions together?" She tipped her chin and added. "I mean I dun care whatever bad stuff happened at those places I never seen, but we could liberally bring a sack of rocks from Flints cellar and have Kuroi write 'delicious and nutritious' on 'em and have this problem solved.
I think? Not gonna lie, didn't fully catch how your powers work. Just glad you never picked up grafitti."
Fey added, rubbing her chin.
"Anyway.. my powers are kinda useless in defending anyone. I've tried training some control, but unless the twins have developed a special case of flame-resistance a little control is not gonna help. They've never trained to be superhuman fighters, I doubt anyone even ever taught Shiroi how to dodge and fall away from danger.. granted.. no one told me either, but I heal.
I can create flames and blow things up if gas comes to flame, so if I don't switch places with Kuroi I'm literally useless on any rescue and defense missions, I think I'll just make sure the ship's ready and stocked up for the whole travel. I'll ask Maggrat where to find lemons. I hear you need to eat lemons on ships-travels.."
She mused.

Aya held up a hand in order to show that she had more to say "I do not mind telling you what a Mask is, in fact your survival might indeed hinge on that knowledge, A Mask is an entity that is a bit of a problem to classify, it's basically an Aspect of Nyarlathothep that has gone rogue and is no longer a part of the 1000 Masks of Nyarlathothep, one of the one thousand forms he can transform into, not that htat have stopped him so far, they all have a bit of Nyarlathotheps own power and I will say this now, all of us here together stand no chance against even the weakest of the Masks, as they are as Immortal as Nyarlathothep himself and even with a fraction of his power would have no issues just annihilating Ulthar and the surrounding area, needless to say to face such an opponent the Arena's defenses will do nothing to protect you should it decide to go all out, hell, all of Ulthar might become collateral damage, that being said, each Mask has it's own distinct personality and wants, so if this Mask is a good natured one, it might indeed not be a problem and it might just want some entertainment, or whatever other reason it might have had for entering, I mean, it has been no reports of widespread madness or death from the other rounds it has been in, so it might indeed be quite friendly" Aya took a deep breath "However, do remember that no matter the Masks appearance, even if it looks to be the size of a mosquito, it is still a being that is somewhere between Great Old One and Outer God in terms of both physical and magical prowess, and as such it's size and appearance does not get even close to do it's true power justice, that being said, Maeve, why bring up the Mask even if it is participating I mean it's just singular so it can't be in the Double matches... right?"

Aya looked Maeve who seemed quite uncomfortable all of a sudden ".... Maeve?" "It insisted on entering in the Doubles matches the Officials were obviously refusing to begin with until the Mask issued a simple ultimatum, "let it join and inform nobody about it or..." well, obviously the officials didn't even wait for it to finish before handing it the doubles registration form so it is what it is, also the rounds will be reshuffled for the next round as it will be the Semi Finals, quite understandably several of the less powerful teams that learned they were up against a potential Mask decided to forfeit immediately rather than getting anywhere near it so the 3rd round were skipped in it's entirety and we are at the Semi Finals, I can let you drop out as well should you desire, given the potential opponent you will be facing, on the other hand being up against one for a friendly bout, provided it is friendly, could give unexpected benefits as many of the confirmed Masks, were aspects of Nyarlathothep whose view points were more akin to the Elder gods than the Outer in terms of what mortals are and so were either cast off or broke loose from Nyarlathothep at some point or another and as such might reward anyone brave enough to face such overwhelming opposition" Maeve sighed as she finished, massaging her scalp as she did so, before looking over at the twins awaiting a response.

Meanwhile Aya had finished up her food, which had only been a small slice of bread and some milk, most likely because she had "eaten" so well the night before and calmly listened while she waited for Erfek, Fey and Korrie to finish up as well, before she dragged them both off, clearly intent of getting what needed to be done done with as fast as possible "This won't take too terribly long so you can still have time to do other things today if you desire, though given what happened yesterday the museum is currently closed to the public the dragons would probably not mind a social visit, they are quite social creatures as for you Fey I am not sure what you want to do today but I am sure you can come up with something, you don't lack for imagination, after all" Aya gave Fey a friendly caress which would send delightful jolts of pleasure into the Phoenix-girl, given Aya were practically oozing energy it was likely she had "eaten" a bit too much the night before, "Hmm might be an idea for you to join in on Korrie's visit, Dragons have their own form of fire magic as well and you might be able to pick up a thing or two or find someone as... enthusiastic... about setting things aflame to chat with" Aya had led the two back into her own room, at which point she whispered something under her breath and runes flared up around the room for a split second. With a nod to the rodent on her shoulders he hopped down and onto the bed where he sat down and looked at the two enslaved girls "Tell no one what you are about to see" With those words the Zoog started to shake and shudder while giving off a rather intense dark green fog of eldritch energies that seemed to cover the entire bed in a cloud, before slowly coagulating back into a shape, a very familiar shape "Well girls, I would love to stay like this for a while to catch up properly but I can't stay in this form for long as it is quite taxing seeing as i have to fight against the stasis wad as well as the poison to maintain a form here, which is why little Erfek here agreed to have me as a host so I could look for a cure, had not expected Aya to be as efficient as to come to the Dreamlands to look for one herself, granted it's her native home, but even so, I had never pegged you for someone that dependable"

Christine smiled softly at Aya, who remained emotionless, aside from a slight blush on her face, Christine chuckled and held held out her arms, before a pair of familiar tentacles pulled Fey and Korrie in for a loving hug, when Christine released the hug she suddenly looked very tired "I am sorry I have to resume my slumber, I wish I could stay, but I need to save my energy, take care, my beloved little pets and remember Tell No One" The last three words had a very familiar pressure behind it that would the minds of the two pets like a speeding truck and embed there, blocking any and all attempts at even remotely hinting at what had transpired in the room, by jolting them with so much pleasure anything they said would just drown in moans and gasps of pleasure, Aya for her part just shook her head and patiently waited for the two pets to recover their senses from the, in her opinion, frankly unnecessary precaution, the two pets' brains were already hardwired to be utterly obedient to their Mistress, so that seemed like overkill to her, maybe as a sign of how much she loved and liked owning them both physically and mentally, then again the same suggestion and effect were embedded into her own head and she knew first hand the effects, so it was probably more as an insentive for the pets to try and break it so they could be reminded of how much their Mistress owned them every time they melted their own minds out by incurring her "Punishment" "Only one that suggestion isn't in effect on are Erfek, and that's because he is her host so that order would prevent him from releasing her spirit, even I couldn't give it away, which is why I had to send you into oblivion last night in the kitchen, Korrie, as I needed a little from you to allow Mistress to regain a bit of extra strength, just as I did that night in Mothers hut, and will do again later on the ship, make no mistake, it will make you both all happy to help with that though, knowing what it will be for, of that I have no doubt" Aya gave coy voice as she picked up Erfek, who looked like he had just ran a Marathon, clearly being de-possessed and then re-possessed so quickly was rather exhausting for the Zoog, who looked quite grateful when Aya handed it a rather juicy looking berry of some kind.

((I could go longer but I figure it's best if I let you respond a bit more first :p))

Fey seemed to quickly fade out with Aya's explanation about the mask. Well, beyond low brow grumbling something about masked cheaters, crossing her arms and munching with determination.

"Meh. I dunno what I wanna do that could be useful. Frankly, kinda tempted to test myself against this mask. I mean.. pff.. Outer god, inner god, elder good. Everything burns." She pouted about a little and pretended not to enjoy the petting Aya gave her as much as she did, with a slight clearing of her throat.

"Heh, I mean, dragons are good with fire..." She mused, tilting her head and glancing over to Korrie as she accompanied Aya.. only to tilt her head.. and tilt it some more (almost toppling her) at the shifting of the Zoog. "Aaaah!" She made with a flickering of her fire-clothes and a pointing at the Zoog.

Fey beamed happily and wiggled, her flames yielding to the tentacle'd grasp, then.. she'd actually sallute, murring happily at the commanding pressure and commenting: "Tell no one what? I don't know anything at all. Hmnn.. " She murred softly under the commands lustful effect, her eyes glazing over as the command settled into place, affecting her thoughts.. not that intense perhaps, as Fey genuinly planned to obey already, despite her flightyness and the rewarding pleasure. Obediance was its own reward for her. She also seemed a lot less concerned about.. well, everything, with this revelation.
"Haaah.. it's so much easier to think things through with mistress guiding presence in mind... ohmnn.. yes. Will never tell.. heh... even on simple things like that. Guess your idea was good after all, Aya, yay!" She purred, her eyes alight.

"Well well well then, I guess we should go check out the dragons. They might learn something from me." Fey decided with a vigorous posing, little flames flaring along her arms.. before she put one along Korries waist. "It's not even the feeling good I think, so much as I just like feeling mistress will force itself upon my mind.. I think I might have a thing..." She grinned. "What are we waiting for, Dragons to see!"

Korrie was getting pissed off with Shiroi stepping out of line, but with tensions rising and admittedly finding some justification in the girl’s fear, the wyvern girl decided to keep her mouth shut for now, rarely one to volunteer for confrontation unless necessary.

As the phoenix spoke, Shiroi thought about remarking on her worry that whatever this Mask thing can do would pierce through even the safeguard over their real body, but decided to just leave that to herself for now. Kuroi however actually blinked in confusion when Fey proposed a potential use of her powers. “…I honestly have no idea if that would work. It feels like a bit of a stretch, but…” Her voice trailed off as she pondered the question and actually considered experimenting to see if it would work.

Shiroi also gave it some thought, but shook her head. “I doubt it, if the script gets destroyed then the enchantment breaks, and chewing or digesting will definitely break it. Besides, even if it would work, I’d still rather eat normal food.

The agitated albino was willing to settle down once Aya began to explain the situation. Eyes widened and jaws dropped at the words ‘Aspect of Nyarlathothep’, though that shock and horror managed to fade a little as Aya went on. The twins in particular listened very attentively to both their succubus guide and Maeve, running through the scenarios and deciding what they should do. Shiroi was the one who spoke first.

If that’s the case… then we’re fighting this guy.

For once, Kuroi seemed genuinely surprised by her sister’s decision. “W-We are?! But isn’t the Mask a physical god? There’s no way we can actually win!

Maybe not in the normal sense, but hear me out. The Mask must’ve had a reason for joining the tournament. If it’s been here this whole time and never caused any trouble, and it wasn’t sent here specifically after us as I was worried about, then based on the idea that each Mask has a very particular personality and desire, like… a quirky side character from an anime, then this guy might just be here looking for a good time. The fact it insisted on joining the Doubles alone implies it knows how impossibly strong it is; it knows no mortal can really beat it, that’s not the expectation. Instead, I’m pretty sure it’s only looking for someone brave and strong enough to put up a decent fight while it’s handicapping itself. Satisfy it, and it forfeits, possibly even rewarding us with something. If anything, letting it win the tourney unchallenged might actually piss it off.” Shiroi reasoned, the sheer insurmountable true power of her foe actually helping clear her head a little and look at other possibilities. The girl then grinned. “Besides, when else are we gonna get the chance to safely pit ourselves against a god? Even if we do get swatted down like flies we wouldn’t be the first, and no one’s died in the tourney so far. Come on, let’s give it a shot!

Hearing her sibling’s encouraging words, even the timid ravenette couldn’t help but find her spirits lifted and her bravery stoked. “That’s true… I still don’t like the thought of facing something this powerful, but I also don’t want to just give up when we’ve been doing so well. If we’re not truly in mortal danger, then I’m willing to try!” Kuroi nodded determinedly.

Korrie, meanwhile, continued her breakfast while looking on bemusedly. She admittedly respected the two’s bravery, but picking an unnecessary fight with a god that could very well accidentally (or purposefully, for whatever reason) kill them is just dumb. Still, she’s not going to try to change their minds on it, a part of her really wished them the best of luck and that they’d come out of it stronger or with some reward that might help on their quest, especially when it sounds like the peril that awaits them in Dylath-Leen is much more personal and malicious.

At her handler’s beckoning, the wyvern girl left the twins to discuss their Mask-fighting endeavor with Maeve and went with Aya, wondering what she wanted. “Oh, the museum’s still closed?” Korrie asked, a little crestfallen over it, though she was fine with even just a social visit to say goodbye. Having had her fill both last night and that morning (and just being a good pet), she showed no jealousy while Fey got her own attention from the succubus, simply giggling softly as her own arousal grew. Curiosity filled her when Aya seemed to ward the room, then complete astonishment as the Zoog transformed into someone very familiar and beloved.

M-MIS-“ She nearly cried out before covering her own mouth, worried that she might speak too loud in excitement. “Mistress, you’re alright!” She tried again at a more managed volume, beaming and barely restraining herself from rushing in for a hug. Giddy with joy, Korrie listened attentively to her owner, her elation slightly dampened when reminded that the poison is still a very real and existing danger even if Christine is here with them, but she was still more than happy knowing that they were being watched over all this time. She then got the hug she wanted anyway, happily nuzzling her beloved mistress. All too soon however their reunion had to end, Korrie’s eyes glazing over briefly as her owner’s command imprinted deep into her mind, her body shivering in pleasure.

Though if Christine truly was hoping her pets would invoke her naughty punishment, the training she had put her pets through may have backfired, as Korrie too had zero intentions of disobeying that order even without any magical reinforcement. It wasn’t even just her love and obedience towards her owner, Shiroi would probably throw a fit if she realized the person they’re trying to save had been kind of sort of tagging along all that time, and her paranoia would only grow more rampant, it was better to leave her out of the loop on the secret. Besides, it felt like a harmless way of getting back at the ungrateful upstart, and she was all for that.

Korrie’s willing to help give Mistress as much energy as she wants~” The pet wyvern giggled vapidly, the realization that their intimate playtime even served a practical purpose for her owner making her all the more enthusiastic about the prospect. Though she felt a little too shy to voice it, she also had to agree with her sister pet, just the feeling of being controlled by her owner was enough to turn her on, she’s just that much of a thoroughly trained slave-pet and she loved it.

Still, the day was waiting, and there was stuff to do, places to be. “If there’s nothing else we need to do here for now, Korrie’d like to go visit the dragon convent now too, while we still have time.” She nodded, wrapping an arm around Fey’s waist as well. All her stress and worries suddenly feel so far away now after seeing her mistress again~

As Korrie and Fey finished up Aya gave a slight chuckle "Glad to see you are so eager to go about your day, now before you go I will quickly explain WHY we are procuring all the things we need today and not later in Dylath-Leen, as I am quite certain you remember Maeve mentioned that one of Nyarlathothep's Masks are in town, that could be bad, but given it's actions so far I doubt it's one that's aligned with the Creeping Chaos himself, to make it quick and easy to understand, As you might remember, or maybe not, doesn't really matter, Lady Pale Moon mentioned that Nyarlathothep still had a strong presence in Dylath-Leen, what I took tht to mean was that his servants were still trading their rubies to the inhabitants, it turns out, however that Nyarlathothep has conquered the city in my absence, it is now his territory, which means we really shouldn't stick around longer than absolutely needed there, which means being able to forgo having to restock in the city would be preferable, the last thing I want is having to fight an endless mob of Moonbeasts from the Moon of the Dreamlands, that aside while the splintered off Masks might indeed be quite friendly Nyarlathothep himself are not, he... Hates, mortals such as us and even Hate is not a strong enough word to fully cover just how much he abhor mortals, even if it meant an all out fight with his sister I have little doubt he would gladly take us out of commission in Dylath-Leen should he find us, if only to spite her, as such we want to be out of that city as fast as possible, no stops at all if we can avoid it"

Aya made sure to keep Fey under watch as she spoke, making sure that she was paying attention the entire way through before she undid the ward and opened the door "Korrie, you know the way to the Dragon Conclave, as such I will let you take responsibility for getting you and Fey there in one piece, I would join you myself, but I have to get enough supplies to last s not only down to Dylath-Leen but also across the sea as well, a trip that I honestly have no idea how long will take given all the factors that are involved, so enjoy your last day in town while you can" with that she ushered the two pets out of her room and slammed the door shut behind them, before rummaging through several of the chests and closets until she found a small bag hidden in one of several secret compartments she had gone through "So much for saving all these Spinata for something fun, guess I will be using them for something useful for a change instead" she mumbled to herself even as Erfek gave her a curious glance.

The pets would not be able to stay in the hallway for long before Flint came up the stairs and dragged the two down "Seeing as the two of you are a dragon and a Phoenix yer probably pretty good with fire and the twins, who usually does this for us are busy with the boat to get it recharged so I were wondering if you would be willin' ta light the forge back up for us before ya leave, will even throw in some pocket money for ya to use in town if ya agree" Flint gave them a pleading look as he spoke, behind him the two could see Uldar and Dulgar hodling the now not only melted but also partially exploded hammer as well as several fragments, it was obvious what was on their minds, getting the forge up and running and fix the hammer as fast as possible, provided the two agreed Flint wuold happily lead the way to the forge, where he would gesture for Fey nd Korrie to have their fun lighting the thing up. Once the fire was up and running Flint would give the two a small bag of coins each, each containing twenty coins, five of iron, five of bronze, five of silver and five of gold "Don't spend it all in one place, as that's a pretty decent chunk o cash ya got there" he would the ngive the two Pets a loving hug each and send them both on their way, though would happily explain how much each coin was worth should either of the two pets have the presnece of mind to ask.
___________

The twins would not have to wait for long before Maeve rose and gestured for them that they had to get going, as they entered the main hall they could hear some form of scream from upstairs, but it was not loud enough that they would be able to pick it out what the scream was about, not that Maeve would let them actually try to figure it out, she had a Tournament to oversee, after all and she would not be late for any reason, something she would make clear to the twins rather quickly should they dilly dally as she led the way back to the arena.

Once they arrived Maeve led them to a small room and gestured for them to enter "The officials wanted to give you some more information about today, in here please" Maeve would close the door behind them as they entered leaving the girls in a room with seven 6 other people, The official who were clearly a nerve wreck, which wasn't too surprising given the information the Twins had received from Maeve as well as a duo of white cats Cats, who seemed completely bored out of their minds seeing as they were both half asleep on their respective chairs, across the table from the two cats were a woman dressed in a sandy brown Bedouin outfit, her companion and most likely her partner was an old man dressed in rags with strange golden eyes who looked just as bemused by this whole situation as the cats were, the final person in the room was a figure in black robes, the shadow seemed to twist and turn about it making it impossible to even tell what kind of creature was underneath it or if it even was a person at all, on the shoulder of this creature was a raven, that seemed strangly out of focus and with glowing red eyes.

"Ah, y-you are all here, good good, err... sorry for dragging you all in here before the matches begins but there have been some... changes to the line up, it would seem that someone recognized one of our more... powerful... contestants and the rumor of... it... spread around to the rest of the participants, as such several contestants have unfortunately decided to withdraw from the tournament, leaving only those present here in the tournament, which means you are now all in the quarter finals, unfortunately we also have to reshuffle everything since there is no telling which of you would have gone up against which in the first place, given your widely diffrent placements on the table before all this, as such we need to reshuffle everything and draw new match-ups, which is why we are all here now" This seemed to wake both the cats and the old man, whom now seemed much more interested in what was going on, whereas the shadowy figure didn't even make a single motion that it had understood nor cared.

The official looked around the room for a bit still clearly nervous, as he put an orb on the middle of the table and took a deep breath and closed his eyes, the sphere lit up and the team names of everyone in the room suddenly lit up in the air above it, before starting to spin around, slowly at first but quickly gaining speed to the point where trying to make out one particular team name was impossible then there was a burst of light and the team names was announced clearly Monochrome Sisters/Squirming Shadows and Feline Fury/Desert Sands The Cats looked over at the Woman and old man and seemed pretty pleased with themselves "The matches have been decided, Monochrome Sisters, Squirming Shadows, please follow your attendants outside to your designated preparation areas for the first Semifinal, Feline Fury/Desert Sands you can either follow suit or watch from the stands until their fight are over, it's up to you" with that said the official hurried out without a word or glance at anyone in the room, relief written over his face as he hurried out, only pausing to grab the orb that had been used to determine everything.

The Shadowy figure rose from it's seat and left hte room, only pausing to look over at the twins briefly, before exiting and heading outside, where they could hear someone greet it an asked it to follow them to the prep area, once the twins left they would find themselves face to face with Maeve who would motion for them to follow along again even as she looked down the hallway to where the shadowy figure just turned a corner "Well, this will be one for the history books for the Arena no matter how you look at it, I don't think a Mask has ever participated before" she explained to the twins as she lead them back to the same preparation room they had used the day before, only now it was without Aila in it, once the twins had taken the time to prepare they would be lead back out by another official and into the arena where they would find their opponent waiting for them, to tremendous cheers from the spectators, clearly the way that they had ended the tournament early the day before had not gone unnoticed as they were cheered by the masses.

The Shadowy figure walked up to the middle of the arena, stopping at the designated starting position for the fight, once the Twins did the same however they were in for a shock as the figure now talked "G'day Gals, good luck in this here battle, oh guess I should introduce ma self, I'm Trevor, I'm from Sidney, Australia, Earth, I'm a Shadowmancer by trade, nice ta meet 'cha, oh and this here is ma partner in the tournament, Pax he's ma Familiar, as he was Fathers Familiar and my Father-Fathers Familiar before that, he might seem mean spirited, but he's the best bud I got!" he gestured to the Raven on his shoulder, who gave an audible sigh "And that's why I said this whole dark and broody motif won't work for you at all, the moment you open your mouth your happy and jovial voice will just dispel the entire thing, you really need to work on that if you want that to work, you know" The ravens voice sounded more like an old man than that of a raven, then again it was decidedly not a normal raven if it was his partner in the tournament, so it was probably to be expected, the shadowy figure paused for a bit at the ravens words then just shrugged "Can't help it, mate, ti's just who I am, now then, let's have a nice fair fight, eh gals?`" he gave a half bow and seemed to ready himself just as the starting signal was given.

".. I mean, I'm sure we can deal with some werewolves." Fey got out of Aya's talk about fighting moon-beasts. ".. why are you looking at me like that? Alright, fine, dun stay in that town, got it. .. Though.. I guess technically I'm not fully you know.. mortal-human anyway." She rubbed her chin.

She then tilted her head at Flint, or rather, tilted it once or twice to indicate her literal outfit made of fire. "Me? Lighting stuff on fire? Never'd crossed my mind." Sarcasm aside, she didn't mind lighting up things, without a comment about Flint having become reliant on fire elementals either.

"This is weird Korrie, All this lighting things up utilitarian and junk. Doesn't feel right to the fire. 's hard to explain." She mused, chuckling under Flints hugging and taking the money.. she really needed a sash. "Fireproof Sash. I don't really wear clothes but I need a sash for all the stuff I pick up. Or maybe a belt.. I guess I could dream up clothes too but.. eh." Clothes felt wrong due to Christines training after all, and so Fey was sashed up, before making sure to collect her phoenix-familiar before they headed out.

"Right'o, Let's go check out the dragons?" She enthused towards Korrie, not deviating from her plans. "Are there any princesses and hoards? .. oh! We could also buy some silver. You know, for the Werewolves."
