The two silently ascend the stairs, and he glances both ways before moving to the right, opening a loud squeaky door (which makes him wince slightly) and going up another flight of stairs.

The hallway seemed empty, with a few closed doors and the open one Geralt had gone up. She follows him up, and as he reaches the top he holds a hand up to stop her. There are walls on either side, and he carefully peaks around the corner to his left, and quickly pulls back. He holds up three fingers; 3 demons were in the room.

*nods to his indications and motions for him to make the first move since of course she was behind him on the stairwell peeking back down the stairwell they had come up just in case*

Geralt nods, and glances back around the corner before darting out of hiding to another hiding place on the other side of the hallway. He holds up to fingers and points forward, indicating that she should move ahead to another hiding spot.

*shifting forward to peek down the hallway her eyes would seek out somewhere for her to duck into. If and only if she thought she saw a good hiding place would she move up to take position somewhere further.*

Stealth: Success

Shadowcat spots the three demons easily, their small hunched bodies clustered together. They had gray-green skin, and held short swords at their sides while they conversed with one another. She sees that there is another section of wall that covers her from the demons sight, and easily paws over to it without making a sound. She could easily pounce on one of the small demons from here. Geralt signals for her to wait, however, and he steps out of cover, drawing his weapons, and says; "Excuse me!" The demons turn to him, draw their weapons, and charge, all of them going right past Shadowcat, oblivious to her presence.

*smiling inwardly at the plan obvious now as they all pass right by her she would slink out behind the third one intent on twisting its ugly little head off as she pounces at it to dig her claws into the small of its back as hands reached for the sides of its head*

Damage: 1 + 2 + 18 = 21 x 2 = 42 damage.

Shadowcat has little trouble in grabbing the passing demon and snapping its neck. The other two don't even seem to notice as they charge blindly at Geralt.

To-hit: 16 + 20 = 36 vs 58 = miss.
To-hit: 16 + 20 = 36 vs 58 = miss.

Geralt sidesteps the first creatures awkward swing, and takes a step back to avoid the second ones swing before counterattacking, his two short blades whirling.

To-hit: 6 + 44 = 50 vs 15 = hit.
To-hit: 16 + 44 = 60 vs 15 = hit.
Damage: 6 + 13 + 4 = 23 damage.
Damage: 4 + 13 + 4 = 21 damage.

His two swords lash out for both creatures throats at once, one swiftly cutting through the neck of the short demon, the second taking its head clean off. The only remaining demon raises its weapon in blind rage.

*considers leaving the demon for Geralt but she changed her mind deciding upon a joint attack possibly darting for the back of the second demon leaping up and letting the claws upon her fingeras rake down the creatures back seeking to open up deep ravines in its flesh and even maybe distract it*

Shadowcat easily sneaks up on the second creature, her claws ripping into its throat from behind as it is distracted by her companion. The creature is dead before it hits the ground, its lifes-blood flowing across the floor.

Geralt looks up from the corpse and nods approvingly, and says; "Goblins, take the fangs. Only the big ones, the rest are worthless." He stoops to the one he had killed, his swords sheathed already, and pries its mouth open, extracting a knife from his pouch.

*giving a nod and a snamile she tilts ones head and opens its mouth to see the fangs and gives the dead creatures head a sharp jab intent on punching the fangs from its jaw* "i have mnothing to pry with but these slender hands.."

Shadowcats punch cracks against the creatures jaw, loosening the tooth, and a second quickly pulls it free. She does the same for the other large fang in the creatures mouth, and when she finishes Geralt comes up with four, the ones from her first kill and the ones from the one he had down. He offers one of them to the Su-Ku-Ta, saying; "A deal's a deal, half and half. Goblins fangs, not the most valuable thing out here, but it'll do. It's not like they take up that much room."

(Gain 2 exp and 3 Goblin Fangs.)

*smiles and takes the fang nodding appreciatively to him* "indeed a deals a deal..this will be a fine working relationship we have" *she turned to begin walking down the hallway the goblins had come from eyes searching it for clues of what they were doing as she did..all the while she sway her hips from side to side quiet and graceful*

Shadowcat glances over the room, quickly joined by a grinning Geralt, and they peruse the room for a while. After a while, Shadowcat spots a crack in the floorboards, as though they were loose.

*chewing on her lip she approaches the loose floorboards and shifts onto her knees to begin inspecting them seeking to open the boards if possible or move them at the least*

The boards easily come up, and Geralt walks over as she bends down, saying; "What did ya find?" Beneath the floor, a large leather sack is sitting, gathering dust. As she touches it, it makes a clinking sound, as though it were filled with metal.

*lifting the sack up she sets it on the floor in front of him before opening it to get a look inside* "well we have certainly found something...is it of value..lets see"

Opening the sack, it if filled nearly to the brim with coins. "Well, good find kitty. I'll let you keep it, since you were the one that made the find."
