Re: Arjay's Things of No Importance

Aust's Quest to Defeat the Boars
MarreckSteel: Damn pigs
Commander $exy: oink!
MarreckSteel: They keep following me
MarreckSteel: So many...
MarreckSteel: Must not get overwhelmed
Commander $exy: Roll d20 to escape!
Commander $exy: 14! You escape the boars.
Commander $exy: Credits roll, you never have to see the boars again as you head home... Until you find your hometown ruled by boars!
Commander $exy: DEFEAT THE BOAR BOSS! ROLL D20
Commander $exy: 15! you slay the boar boss! The other boars in the town flee! But they'll be back! you must destroy the boars at their source! You venture to boar island! Fight the armies of boars! ROLL D20
Commander $exy: 9! The boars are too much! You're pinned down, they violate you one by one, their spiral cocks plunging into you! After a thousand boars rape you, they take you to be presented to the boar overlord, who seeks to conquer you himself. ROLL D20!
Commander $exy: 14! You use the last of your strength, and defeat the boar overlord! But he is immortal! The only way to seal him forever... Is to sacrifice yourself. Use your own body to seal the boar overlord and his minions. You'll be fighting them for centuries, and likely lose many fights, but at least the lands will be at peace! WHAT DO YOU DO
MarreckSteel is now Online.
MarreckSteel: Why the hell not? Not like I got anywhere else to go
Commander $exy: You heroically sacrifice yourself. Time eventually loses meaning. Fighting boars, being raped by boars, and birthing boars becomes all you know. After many years, you body can no longer continue fighting. The boars overtake you, and the seal is broken, waiting to be sealed again by the next great hero...
MarreckSteel: yay...kinda
MarreckSteel: God damn that was a heck of an adventure

Experience: 0
Corruption: 0

Talents:
*Duelist: A character with this Talent gets a 2d10 bonus to Dodge and +2 to weapon damage rolls so long as they are using a single weapon in one hand and nothing in the other.
*Unarmed Fighter: The character deals Improved Unarmed damage when attacking without a weapon. In addition, the character gets a 3d10 bonus to Dodge so long as they aren't holding any weapons. Alternatives to the secondary bonus provided by this Talent (and alternative skill lists that it unlocks) can be found later in the rules, but are only recommended for advanced players.
Strong of Spirit: +8 to Spirit.
Healthy: +20 HP
Skill with Shortened Polearms. The character gets a 3d10 bonus to attack rolls with the chosen weapon.
*Natural Spirit Wielder (ShadowMancer): The character chooses 3 Powers from the Shadowmancer list.

Flaws:
*Fertile: +5 bonus to Pregnancy rolls [Racial]
*Beast Lover: Any pleasure dealt to the character by Bestial creatures is increased by +8.

Skills:
Disarm (Activated)
The character may choose to forsake the damage done by their attack to instead disarm their opponent. A creature wielding a weapon that is hit by this attack loses that weapon unless they beat the character in an opposed Reflexes check. The character may optionally choose to take and wield or throw the disarmed weapon aside as a move action. Requires Duelist or Unarmed Fighter.

Lightning Strikes (Activated)
The character attacks three times instead of only once, but each attack takes a -2d10 penalty to its attack roll and a -5 penalty to damage. These attacks need not be against the same creature. Requires Duelist.

Defensive Grappler (Activated)
When the character is in a grapple, they can make a single unarmed attack against any creature that is grappling them as a grapple action. This attack is treated as though the character and the creature were not grappled, but takes a -1d10 penalty to attack and a -4 penalty to damage rolls for each hostile creature participating in the grapple besides their target. Using this skill does not require that the character win the grapple check for the round and resolves before the grapple check. Requires Unarmed Fighter.

Spirit Ceiling: 8
Powers:
Patch of Darkness
The character chooses a location, and after exerting a small amount of energy and will, a patch of inky darkness appears there. No creatures other than the character and those that they designate using this power can see within or through it, even with supernatural senses, which can allow the character to escape or attack without being detected. It does not block sound, smell or touch, however.
-Utility Power.
-The character pays 5 EP.
-The character then chooses an area the farthest edge of which must be within 200 feet. This area can be up to a 30x30x30 foot cube, or the area can spread out as the character desires, but it must be in 5x5x5 cubes and must be continuous. That area is instantly blacked out, causing any creatures within it to have the Blinded status until they leave its, and also preventing creatures from seeing through that area.

Dark Armor
Armor formed of living, moving shadow coats the character, not weighing them down in the slightest but protecting them from harm.
-Buff Power.
-The character pays X EP. In addition, they must pay X - 2 EP upkeep every round.
-The characters gets a bonus to their Armor, melee damage, Bull Rush checks, Overrun checks, Swim checks, and Grapple equal to 3X. The character also gains a +X bonus to Stealth.
-The character may pay an additional 2 EP per mutation at activation in order to get the Greater Wings mutation or Tentacles special mutation, but each mutation increases the upkeep cost by 1 EP.
-This power may be used while the character is Bound or held in a Submission Hold. This power cannot be Countered or Dispelled.

Death Whip
The character conjures a whip formed of shadow, and uses it to attack their foes.
-Weapon Power.
-The character pays X EP. In addition, they must pay 1 EP upkeep every round.
-A whip formed of pure shadow appears attached to their arm. It deals (2d6 * X) + Spirit/4 damage whenever it hits. It has a range of 10 feet, and can be used to Grapple creatures at that range at a +2X bonus to hit and to subsequent grapple checks that doesn’t cause the character to gain the penalties of the grappled status unless they lose a grapple check and the creature does something to them rather than escape. Creatures grappled by it do not gain any benefits due to group grappling rules. While grappling a creature with this power, it may only be used to attack that creature.
-The character can attack in the same turn that this power is activated so long as they have used nothing else that takes up their standard action, but only using this power. This weapon counts as a one handed chain weapon for all intents and purposes.

Inventory:

Unarmed
Improved Damage: 1d8 + 2 + Body/2
1d8 + 14 (4d10 + 4)

Hand Axe (Shortened Polearm)
4d5 - 4 + Body/2

Orcish Battle Armor: AV = 14, EV = 4, TP = 30, DU = 3. Weak against Slashing. Strong against Piercing.

Bio/Description: A lonely Crolian woman, surrounded by a variety of races, found herself easily drawn to an enigmatic and quiet Orc, respected but left alone by his passing tribe. However, her people's openness to others didn't leave her with much knowledge of Orc slavers, a group who can easily and preferably take individuals from towns they won't be retuning to, especially those who few would notice were gone. Due to the naturally large build of the Crolian woman, she wouldn't serve too well to many races, but fit perfectly as his personal slave, eventually bearing their child. Though big for a halfbreed, by Orcish standards, she was still small. Although spending most of her childhood being raised in a barn with the animals they raised to later slaughter, she found an intense interest in fighting early on. She quickly took to her father's culture, not being at all uncomfortable or unfamiliar with the violent or sexual behavior of all races and animals, and sometimes their combination. Because of the fervor she brought to training, taking challenges and wanting to be a warrior for her tribe's sake and honor, she faced little ostracism throughout her life.

As a youthful adult female, Surka appears well built at slightly over 6 feet tall. Having white hair wasn't unusual for either of her parents, but she stood out from her tribes counterparts with her blue eyes, and light, almost faded, palegreen skin. However, her differences weren't purely physical. As a relatively smaller fighter, she relied more on her intellect, favoring her speed and tactic over the usual brute force Orcs brought to battle; for example taking preference in her small handaxe, as opposed to greater axes. She knew that fighting wasn't just something you can only get through with feel, but something that could be studied and known. All these revelations came to a head when one of her tribes small squadrons was completely wiped out by an unknown rogue warrior. Having seen exactly how she always dreamed of battle in action, the efficiency of an almost assassination style of fighting, she became obsessed with the shadows from which the strikes came. Realizing she could never be as good hiding her large frame from any would-be opponents, she spent a strong amount of her time into studying and becoming a shadowmancer. Though her abilities to wield her skills are still low, it matches well in at least masking with her physical strength.
