I've also been led to believe the merchant no longer shows up after you job change into a super novice at level 20, but I cannot provide evidence for this claim.

damn my number is 49...so that means i cant get that item anymore? DAMN :D

Don't have to. As soon as you reach Glast Heim Prisons, unlock the gate to the prison cells (be warned, this spawns 3 Zealotus and they're pretty difficult) and go to the top right cell. You'll find a character that will make both Stat and Skill Reset sticks.
Easy to miss her though. She has the same sprite as the homunculi wandering around.

If I remember correctly, you need an Apple of Darkness to get a Skill Reset stick.

To add to this answer, the materials for the resets are as follows:

Skill reset - Apple of Darkness x1 (obtained from maid Alice mob #031 in last castle)
Stat reset - High Orc Emblem x5 (obtained from High Orc mob #058 in central forest; random spawn)

If you're wondering what the third item does, it's for fighting the fairy mob for a quest later. Four leaf clovers can be obtained at a very low chance from opening purple/blue boxes and as a reward for breaking the 2nd(?) crystal by choosing "I want an item." as your reward.

You also obtain a skill reset from job change, a stat reset from the final delivery quest, and another skill reset if you trade in the gold claws from the pyramid to the guy in the desert town bar. This prevents you from getting the related gold sword though, so you probably don't want to do that.

Another way to get a Four Leaf Clover is to..."defeat" the flower girl in Prontera.

But it's easier to get it as an item reward.

say you have 5 points to spend the value for that is obviously 11 (5x2+1) find the value for that, then sped a point, (4x2+1=9) then search for 9, if there's still more than one value left to choose from spend another point and do it again.

when only one value is left you just change it to what you want.


also, i usually edit my values to 9, 99, or 999. (or 999999for gold)

because of the x2+1 thing even numbers tend to make your game crash.

Well cheating will crash your game if you type in an even # because the game doesn't do decimals. It can also crash if your number is too high because then the number comes out negative for some reason.

The stats in rpg maker are attached to something else so they revert back or just can't be found. For instance, if you were trying to level up your character you can't just change the level value because it is directly attached to the exp value. Game wont allow lvl 99 that only has 50 exp. So you gotta change the exp instead to change the level. For stats though we just need to figure out what it's connected to and alter that.

for some reason after trying multiple times in the past, i stopped trying to hack stats. instead i just hack stat points, it seemed to be the only way it works for me.

Try downloading Google Chrome then using Chrome to open the MEGA file.
If you're already using Chrome then I'm stumped.

please, for your own sake, stay the hell away from any open world game! :rolleyes:



So anyway, to reach the prison: first off, get to the GH underground waterway/sewer. If you already are having problems here, you can reach this place from many places, personally i'd suggest chivalry because it's faster. No idea what i'm talking about? Allright...the chivalry building is in the west area of GH, the one guarded by an abysmal knight.

Once you have done that, here comes the difficult part:
you must take 7 steps south, 10 steps east, 5 steps south, (watch out here: you might get distracted by a drainliar, don't lose focus!) 7 steps west and finally two more steps north to reach your destination!
Whew, that was difficult.

Just for future reference, while the maps do differ a bit, the author still tried to make them as similar as possible to the ones in the original, so just looking it up from ratemyserver or similar could help ;)

normaly im not that retarded like this but 2 hours after i posted this help screaming i tryed to find that prision again and tada i found it...that was the only place i didnt remebered and i dont surched -.-
