Re: Caryo Angel Quest

There is one movable pillar somewhere...

Yup found it, thanks Lagoona, though I don't know why you didn't say which one :)
Anyway to those who're wondering it's on the right side, near the bridge.
Near the bridge, north of it.

Re: Caryo Angel Quest

I'll just drop a Savestate here if anyone wants, it's missing 2 bonus CG's though.
And the 3rd form of the Zerberus, but that's all whats missing.
I think i ''captured'' all 3 forms of the other creatures (if anyone wonders, yes it matters, each form has kind of a different ''scene''. She normally fucks with the monsters on first form and gets nearly broken at the third form. It is only in the text and voice though.)

It's in the attachments....enjoy

[edit] also: could anyone explain how applocale works? i get it running, but i get just gibberish ( no not the normal Kanji). i mean realy gibberish not even
engrisch or something.

Re: Caryo Angel Quest

How's the gameplay? I'm always a little cautious about artists/developers on their first rpg/real game from normally just creating art/animations. It usually leads to a very clunky, unpolished game.

Re: Caryo Angel Quest

The gameplay doesn't have any particular problems. The combat is pretty straightforward, and the puzzles on the floors that have them are pretty average overall.

What I really liked about this game was the crisp artwork. When Azuria is hit by any kind of special attack, it shows an ecchi cut-in graphic for that type of attack (one for each element and each status effect). It adds a bit of much-needed spice to an otherwise simplistic battle system. The game is very basic overall, but certainly not clunky or unpolished. One of the interesting things about the puzzles on the various floors of the dungeon is that they require you to have certain weapons with you, or suffer a consequence. They are able to block different kinds of traps, create shortcuts, and enter otherwise blocked off areas. The problem is that while you can leave the dungeon at any time, you can only reenter it on certain floors, which means you can't conveniently change your loadout every floor.

For those wondering about traps and how to avoid them,
the sword deflects spear traps,
the shield diverts poison water,
the hammer crushes falling rocks,
and the staff detects pitfalls.
The sword and staff are most useful in that regard, plus in general.

It would have been a somewhat bland game even with this, but there are also some extra H-scenes in various locations. I won't spoil how to find all of them just yet, but if you're wondering how to find them, always be willing to take a risk. There's only one single trap I found that can instantly kill you, and most of the others either do light damage or provide an H scene (you should always try to carry some of the items that let you leave the dungeon in case you take too much damage from a trap).

Re: Caryo Angel Quest

this game kinda boring

Yeah.... repetitive H scenes, not very engaging RPG elements, it's kinda lacking all around. Good time killer I guess.

Plus its wolf, and they AGTH reeeeeal bad.

Re: Caryo Angel Quest

How does one view the past H scenes?

Talk to the angel to the right of the angel 'king' and select the first option.

Re: Caryo Angel Quest

I need help, everyone! I play game for a while and stuck in the floor with many animals and some orcs. I run around to find a way out! NOTHING! :(

Re: Caryo Angel Quest

One of the pillars can be pushed (on the top-right quadrant of the room)

Just a small warning; the gameplay doesn't get any better or any less repetitive, only more so. I'd personally recommend just looking up the CG's because there isn't all that much else to the game. Though if you like this sort of gameplay by all means, enjoy.

Thanks for your help and warning! Of course, I just find all CG's and the gameplay is easy as well as boring!

Re: Caryo Angel Quest

Gah! I've got all of the CGs, including the capture of the 'Cocktopus' boss on the last floor...but I'm missing the level 3 dog (who I'm guessing is a true cerberus with three heads). Where is this guy? I've only seen one and that was a storyline battle so I wasn't allowed to capture him.
