Leona gains 4 xp for putting up a fight.

The field of power radiating around, combined with her opponent's repeated strikes, had shredded Leona's armor, increasingly causing the armored plating to fall apart around her as she made one last desperate charge at the demon knight. Her own crimson glow flared briefly as Leona lunged for an overhead blow, and once more the demon moved so fast that Leona could barely trace her movements with her eyes, much less change the momentum of her attack to track her opponent. The demoness whirled and danced forward, her floating line of hair tracing her through the air, and as Leona's swing came down she struck the back of the lioness's knee with her sword, causing Leona to stumble and fall to one knee. Before she could recompose, Golf whirled further and struck Leona in the back of the head with her shield, and from then on Leona saw naught but blackness....

When she came to, Leona found herself surprisingly free of the aches and pains she'd expect after such a vigorous fight. The only discomfort came from her wrists and neck both being contained in padded stocks, into which she was locked... While naked, on her knees on a cloth pad set on the floor. She'd been set up in a changing room of some sort, given the row of lockers along the back wall, and Leona would quickly realize that she wasn't alone as a hand firmly smacked her on the ass. "Heheheheh, she's wakin' up! Yer gonna be a whole lotta fun t'play wi-" an unfamiliar voice - slightly high pitched and nasely but decidedly masculine - located behind and to her left said, only to be cut off... Armored footsteps, followed by a thud so hard that Leona felt it occur where the speaker'd been standing, following by another thud - as if someone was hitting the floor - then itself followed by an agonized cry from the man.

"You did not win this prize, goblin," a more familiar voice replied, tone cold and harsh, "nor did you pay for a turn on her. So if you touch her again, I will kill you." The voice, which Leona would realize belonged to her opponent but no longer distorted by her helmet, turned to a cooler neutrality as she seemingly addressed some other goblins in the room, who had scampered away when one of them had been dissuaded from groping the bound warrior; "Your task was to disassemble her armor that it could be repaired, disrobe her, and go take her armor to the smiths. You have finished two out of three. Finish the last, and if even a link of that armor has been pilfered, I will track down and slaughter all of you personally. Do not make me waste an afternoon doing so. Leave."

The goblins did not seem to need to be told twice, save for the one that the demoness had kicked, who was still crumpled on the floor and crying in pain next to Leona, as the lot of them scampered out of the room with something that they were carrying - likely Leona's armor - clanking in their grasp. With them gone, Golf would finally actually enter Leona's view; the knight was half out of her armor, now wearing a mesh undersuit that Leona recognized as a modern Badarian invention meant to be especially resistant to bullets. Her lower body still had the darksteel plating on it, and she seemed to have been in the process of removing her armor when Leona woke up, as she removed a gauntlet and tossed it to the corner where the rest of her armor was piled. Her long crimson hair, now free, seemed to possess the same gravity-defying attribute of the long strand, as it waved around her head like she was moving underwater, kept mostly out of her eyes by a black hairband. She turned to Leona and adopted a humorless smile, planting her now uncovered hand on her hip, and declared; "You are fortunate for Queen Xeon's dictats on our behavior, mortal. One such as yourself, I would normally claim as my prize for the rest of your life, if we still lived as god demanded! Lucky for you; our god is dead, and our Queen on this world demands that we abide by rules that your kinda would consider more... Fair."

She raised a leg and undid the straps on the greave protecting that leg, removing it and then her armored boot, shifting both aside as well. "To answer some questions that you likely have; you lost, and as such I have claimed my right to enjoy you, and recoup my spent energies by making you my meal... However, as is also my right, I have elected to do so privately, to spare your warrior spirit some dignity. Unfortunately for you.... My reason for slumming it in the commoner's matches is because, by the actions of another, I am... Quite heavily indebted. So, when I am finished, you will be serving to make me some money for a while. The goblin girl that was cheering for you is unharmed, in spite of her attempts to sneak in here and sneak you out of your bindings. Is there anything else that you feel you need to know?" The woman began freeing her other leg from her armor, while the goblin began slowly dragging himself up to his hands and knees, breathing heavily and still wheezing in pain.

That smack to the back of the head had left Leona dazed and tumbling forward. As the cheers faintly erupted with her conciousness fading, the lioness cursed herself under her breath for failing to even land a blow on her opponent, even with the gulf between them. When she finally stirred, her cheeks flushed as she realized the state she was in. She yelped and was about to unleash a slew of threats and curses at the offending goblin before Golf interrupted. As the explanation was given and the situation set in, Leona grit her teeth and bowed her head. She was angry and frustrated, but mostly at herself. While a part of her wanted to try and rip free from these bonds, she knew that'd be pointless. Even if she managed it, Gold was leagues above her and now she was deprived of her armor and weapon.

"Godsdammit..." Was all she could mutter as the explanation ended. Letting out one more irritated sigh, she looked at the demon with her crimson eyes. "...So what happens now? Pissed as I am, I'm not giving up here, so let's just get this fucking over with."
