Egg-Type Indicators:

Normal: No special note is made about the egg.
Fire: The egg is noted as being warm or hot.
Water: The egg is noted as feeling damp.
Grass: The egg is noted as having a greenish tint.
Electric: The egg is noted as having a coppery tint.
Ice: The egg is noted as feeling cool.
Fighting: The egg is noted as seeming durable.
Poison: The egg is noted as feeling somewhat slimy.
Ground: The egg is noted as seeming somewhat dirty.
Flying: The egg is noted as feeling light.
Psychic: The egg is noted as being shiny.
Bug: The egg is noted as seeming somewhat small.
Rock: The egg is noted as feeling rough.
Ghost: The egg is noted as being dull.
Dragon: The egg is noted as feeling scaly.
Dark: The egg is noted as having a darker tint.
Steel: The egg is noted as feeling somewhat heavier.

An extremely important Catch spot for low lvl trainers is missing!

At least to me route 22 is essencial from Nidorans to Mankeys Its the best place to pick up something to help boot Brock

Please view post #83 on the third page of this thread. The meeting mentioned in that post is preventing any and all Gym challenges.

Reason for this: I've decided that the standard "Challenge Gyms to become Champion" plotline does not mesh with what I've got planned.

Speaking of my plans...

I leave it to those playing in this game. I feel, along with at least one other player, that this isn't exactly playing out the way I had planned. What I'm considering is moving the planned plot ahead, skipping much of this random encounter and training business, and going ahead to the "All Hell Breaks Loose" point of the planned plot. Post your feelings on this here.

I dont mind, I'm having fun as it is now and I'll hazard a guess that I'll have fun even if it's moved on a tad. Though if you're in need of someone to watch over battles and such just PM how you go about doing it and I'll help as much as I can.

Okay, I've decided. The plot is getting a fast-forward.

Here's what I'm going to need from you guys.

Your initial companion will be fully evolved, and still with you. Each of you will have received an egg from Ethan Braddock, which will be with you and fully evolved.

You'll be able to have up to four more with you, all of them fully evolved. Make your decisions. More will be up later.

well, for the six pokemons, can we select any of the 493 pokemon?

and the pokemons can have moves from tm, hm, move tutor or egg moves?

The only restrictions are:

FOUR additional Pokemon. You can pick fewer than that, though. You will still have your initial, as well as one that your character will have gotten as an egg from Ethan.

No Legendaries.

No Uniques.


And I'm not bothering to worry about what moves your Pokemon knows. I believe I may have already said that.

Can they be from any game or region? For example, some eevee evolutions are only available in some regions or later games.

Thats a fucking awesome team Bartnum, almost exactly like I had in the games, but I had Houndoom instead of Magmortar. Anyway, the only bad thing about the jump would be the character development, but oh well. Any idea where we'll be situated and who we'll be teamed up with? Also, what about the task that Alex is doing for Michael?
