Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

Demon... dimension hopping? So.... hrm. Well, the spider can stay for now. and these flames apparently change reality wherever they go. Me and Salazar need to check on some things. she said, rubbing her forehead. Succubus. Talk about a fucking problem we haven't had in a long time. And one I don't want again. There's a Celestial wandering around, an Angel, on the edges of my domain. Figured you'd like to know since you just mentioned a Demon. she said, turning and heading out, leaving Christine with the Spider and Tam..... Tam wasn't there. Where was Tam. And what had she been carrying.

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

As Lillith goes to talk with Salazar, Christine is left to ponder whether she should babysit the spider and possibly read something herself, go catch a nap or find what Tam is up to. Deciding that the spider probably wasn't going to cause any problems right now, she slips out of the library and heads for her rooms to see what the others have been doing.

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

Deciding to see what Tam and the others were up to, she was greeted to the sight of Ashlie and Tam mummified from head to toe, and hanging from the ceiling, squirming and moaning softly through the cloth they were enshrouded in, which was deep black, and pulsing against their skin. Dillian was nowhere to be seen. Meanwhile, her pain in the ass Cat had appeared, holding a white feather in it's mouth... a feather a bit too large to belong to a bird, and glowing softly, colored a white so profound it only reminded her of one thing. A terrible spirit of justice... a face too bright and fear inspiring to look on while pillars of fire danced in the sky...

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

Christine surveys the room for a few moments, then closes the door, presses her back against it and stops to think for a while. I guess that's what Tam found in the forest... some sort of cloth mimic? And the feather probably means the angel is around, too. Unless Lillith has a supply of angel feathers to make into pens. Alright, one crisis at a time.

Reluctantly the kitsune opens the door again and conjures a foxfire, trying to see if she could destroy the bindings around Ashlie without risking herself.

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

That's how I deal. A voice said from behind Christine as she opened the door a second time, her foxfires floating around her as a chill rushed down her spine, and her cat fucked off under the bed.

One Problem, At a Time. he whispered into her ear, his voice carrying a music that would have brought Chinta to tears. Singing in the sky, of every soul, every life, bound together in permanent bliss..... Bliss that allowed for no originality, no freedom. Trapped forever in a happiness so complete that it bleached the soul to the purest white. She'd lose her name, her purpose. Everything that made her Her would be washed away in that song if she let it. She'd die a death far crueler then any other she could think of... Like being drugged in an asylum for eternity... But it was beautiful and the temptation to let it wash her away sang in her soul... what a terrible power...

If she looked back she'd see a familiar shining face, wreathed in light, still armored, his wings stretching out almost 8 feet in the hallway while they radiated that song. Your part of my One Problem. Shall we have a conversation? he asked, his face inches from her own.

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

Suddenly something wonderful happened and everything was alright. She was going to tell the angel everything and it was going to be great and she was like a fly flying right into a spiders web. Just like what she had done to the kobolds. The stray thought hits her like a bucket of cold water to the face and so it is with mild annoyance she turns around. "Stop trying to mess with my mind first."

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

Ooo, if I wanted to mess with your head, I would. I was just.... Making sure I had your Full attention. Good job though, I prefer a real talk to a mindless drone vomiting at the mouth. he said, cutting off the glow and curling his wings back up along his back. Go ahead, step inside, the lady of the manor knows I'm here. To avoid a fuss... An Elan is dangerous. Not dangerous enough mind you... but I have my orders after the last fight. A Minimum of collateral damage this time. Helena ensures it's maximized every time. he said.

He was roughly 6 foot 5, tall, regal, his hair a softly glowing platinum and his eyes glowing white. above cut features, as if he had been hewn from stone... he may very well have been, The hell did she know about angels. Her straying thoughts made him grin, as if he could hear her mind. But that feeling passed as he slid out of her mind entirely. The world was back to normal, the song had ceased. Inside, your friends can entertain their guest for a little longer, they're safe from all but a small amount of embarrassment, beaten by a bedsheet. he said, looking up at the cocooned pair and sighing, shaking his head.

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

Christine hesitates a moment, then just shrugs and leads the angel into her rooms. Pulling up a chair, she sits down, regarding the angel with a measure of curiosity. "An Elan?"

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

Every current creature started somewhere. Elan's are not the oldest of the elves... but they're close. Nature sometimes... Creates things of unspeakable physical and mental ability, and tunes their offspring down rather then Up, it's an interesting thing. But back to My One Problem. Helena. She focused on you, shared something with you, protected and tempted you. I would have what you know of her, before I leave this plane. Why did she shift you between worlds. How does she have that weapon? What is the purpose of these Rift Leaks... I would know as much as I can about my prey from the person she doted on so heavily... he said, steering the conversation back on track smoothly.

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

Christine stops for a moment to mull on the angel's words. "I couldn't begin to tell you why a demon does anything. However, I think she's seeking out others connected to the world she's originally from. As for the rifts, I don't recall her saying anything about them. They may be entirely incidental to her way of travelling between worlds and the... what did she call it? The vortex, or something like that. I'm not entirely sure what weapon you're talking about."

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

So that is her current home then... That's why I can't follow her... Miserable Bitch. And why she leaves tears everywhere. Her Original World is yours yes? So you're one of those humans in the astral projection machines, your race likes to reach for the sun a little too often Christine. As for her weapon, the Scythe. Though If she rides the Vortex freely then it's the least of my worries. Just one more problem. That weapon belongs in Styx. She's a plague, a virus, a systemic creator of problems. Her companions are harmless, nor can I use them to draw her to me, last time she answered my ultimatum by eating a planet. 8 trillion souls. the only things she left alive were a couple of every animal. Like she was acting out her own Noah's arc, and here she is, playing God with your life, changing you, leading you, tempting you. What should I do with you... You'd make a poor hostage. Tell me. What was your ultimate goal in accepting her offer... he finished, reaching towards a black leather pouch at his back.

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

Christine nods when asked about her world. "I didn't really pay much attention to the scythe. It didn't seem very important at the time, compared to... well, her. My goal..." the kitsune thinks about the word for a moment. "I suppose my ultimate goal was the same as using those machines in the first place. To get away from my life. To exchange it for something more... adventurous. And the very idea of being able to use magic after a lifetime of thinking that it's not even real was very attractive as well."

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

Understandable in it's own way. That is what makes Humans interesting. No real hesitation. Leaping before you look. You've somehow turned this into an evolutionary advantage. It's illogical to the point of being downright confusing. Keep the feather or don't. But avoid the succubus, she's tainted you enough already don't you think? he said, and asked, raising an eyebrow slowly, before standing.

She's far and away gone now... I doubt she'll come back, if she does, a little care is in order Christine. Immortals are lonely, she'd relish the opportunity to twist you into her own kind, and enslave you for fun. he said, heading for the door, Christine's last chance to ask any questions of the Celestial because her gut told her he'd vanish into thin air the moment he crossed the threshold.

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

To be fair, I wasn't exactly given a chance to hesitate, Christine thinks while wondering if she should ask the angel for something. "Are all angels like you?"

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

The angel turned and regarded Christine for a moment before answering. The official answer is yes. Unofficially I am considered Light-Handed. If we went around slaughtering everyone she was involved with well... that would get a bit excessive. She writes her own rules just for the pleasure of breaking them, we try to follow them all. You can't imagine the headache. he said, turning into a disappointingly stereotypical ball of light and vanishing from existence.

Christine was now alone with the Thing, and her two currently very busy friends. Who had just cum if the back arching and mewling moans were any indication.

They were still wrapped up tight. But just it seemed to avoid anyone coming to their rescue, Lillith came tearing down the hallway, with a staff made of polished bone and looking mad as hell. Christine! Where?! she shouted, looking presumably for the Angel. Who had just Vanished. Like an Asshole.

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

Christine slumps mentally as the angel vanishes and just as she starts wondering if she should still do something about the others, Lillith appears. "Gone, apparently. Though I didn't even notice him before he was right behind me, so..."

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

Yeah, they do that. Think it's all impressive and shit. It's really just annoying. Besides, where there's one, there's eventually going to be more. Granted the ones that come AFTER the slayer of things are generally nicer... And if you fuck one you glow for like a week. It's interesting enough, something in their seed. But I never got a second chance to study it before... you know... it became just a gizz sample. she said, seeming to relax, before noticing the sheet wrapped around the girls.

Ooo, how did that get in? Those are fun. she said, getting a little excited. I'll be right back with a box! Lillith said, dashing away again, Salazar only now just catching up and seeming both annoyed, and out of breath.

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

Blinking as Lillith starts babbling before dashing off again, Christine watches Salazar arrive. "Oh, hey. Do you happen to know where Dillian is?"

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

Sh... Haah. Good lord I'm old... She's really fast when she wants to be... he panted out, hands resting on his knees, before hearing her question. Yes, he's on the roof speaking to the dragon. O lord, a Shroud. Mistress will want to keep that. He said, pointing at Ashlie and Tam, who had just cum again, as loudly as they could. It was still pretty muffled. Or maybe Ashlie was the only one cumming, it was hard to tell. Tam had locked herself back in her belt. If she wasn't cumming she was going to be a horny wreck.

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

"Well, have fun with that. I think I'll go check on him." Christine says and gets up, heading to the roof.
