Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

The map is helpful, and informative, though obviously dated, including several things along a well marked but rarely traveled path, though it seemed outside the last leg of the journey, the entire way was heavily forested, as well as a cave network being noted along the halfway point. The rest of the journey was across a frozen tundra with several of those same caves marked out for them, and a note that said the entire tunnel system was interconnect, but that no map existed of that system itself and operated much like the fairy circles. In that once entered, a short journey through a never noted tunnel or cave system always emptied out into a random interconnected cave many many miles away, far further then what would be traveled. They were noted as Shortcuts of Chance.

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

Christine looks for the scale of the map, and tries to figure out the distances, to Derth and then to the city. "Looks like we'll have a long way to go... Those caves sure look like a good way to get lost without someone to tell you where you've arrived. Or maybe a sextant, if I knew the stars here and how to use one."

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

The map answered her with a series of swirling script. The stars are Never Right. You are Here. it read, showing their location within the castle at the center of the map. While Dillian looked confused. Hell does that mean? he said, though it was nice to see the idea of an intelligent map didn't shock him too badly.

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

Blinking in surprise, Christine nevertheless quickly gives up trying to measure things and takes advantage of the situation. "How far from here to the first Shortcut of Chance?"

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

the curling script was quick to answer. 17 miles from the eastern gate, moving north by north east. Allow for time crossing a wide river. it said, while Dillian sucked in his breath before letting it out as a low whistle. Tam meanwhile was napping.

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

"And how far is Derst, not using the shortcuts?" the kitsune continues, studying the terrain.

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

113 and 2/3's of a mile on foot.

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

Christine quickly counts the number of caves. "Seems like we'll be using the shortcuts at least some of the way. I doubt you three want to walk too far across frozen tundra." she muses out loud. "Better pack some warm clothes."

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

Dillian nods You're right, I'll skip Salazar and find lillith, ask her for just a Little more generosity, and get everything ready then He said, standing and stretching, Tam finishing her sandwich and curling up to take a nap on the couch.

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

Christine continues studying the map, trying to memorize their route before getting bored and folding it again. Tam should probably be allowed to nap and Ashlie was already having fun... Seeing as no-one needs her at the moment, Christine decides that Tam has the right idea and turns into a fox to curl up with the ottergirl.

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

Cuddling up with Tam, Christine found it easy to sleep like this, easier actually then usual since she was small and fluffy and adorable.

She had nice dreams until the very end of her nap until she started to dream she was being crushed to death by a python, the life slowly SQUEEEZED out of her tiny fluffy body!

She woke up and found Tam squishing her into her breasts while she slept like a teddy bear.

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

The ottergirl is warm and comfy, and Christine quickly falls asleep, dreaming of home. But in time, the dreams take darker turn and she finds herself in a jungle, with a huge snake coiling around her and starting to squeeze...

Waking up, the white fox finds herself squeezed against Tam's chest. It would have been adorable if she had been able to breathe properly. Wriggling, Christine tries to find a better position without waking up Tam.

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

Wriggling around, Christine managed to squirm her way between Tam's breasts with her back to her and slipped back to sleep, everyone happy and adorable. They both slept longer then they'd intended, waking up with Ashlie sitting in a straightjacket in the center of the room while Dillian was sorting out packs for everyone. Tam gave her a soft snug and scratched her ears as she woke up. You're really cute like this.

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

Waking up again, Christine finds herself warm and snuggly while Dillian does all the work, apparently. While she doesn't have any objections to this, the kitsune realizes that someone probably ought to set Ashlie free. Turning her head, she nuzzles Tam's neck before slipping to the floor and shifting back to her usual form. "How long did we sleep?" she asks while setting out to remove the straightjacket.

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

Both of you were out for about 6. Dillian said, while Ashlie wriggled around uselessly until Christine helped. The jacket raised a strap and waved at her, before she started to pull it away. At which point it wriggled off and folded itself up, flopping it's way towards the luggage, her cat chasing it.

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

"I suppose we'll have to find something to occupy ourselves while you two sleep, then." Christine says, starting to help Dillian pack and checking herself that they had everything they would need for at least two weeks of travel.

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

I can only imagine. Ashlie said, smirking a bit but looking worn out by what seemed to be hours of fun. Dillian likewise snorted. The supplies were well in hand for 2 weeks and change along with the food to match if they couldn't find game where they went. Everything seemed ready for them to leave except for Ashlie and Dillian who both looked tired.

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

After making sure everything is ready, Christine flops into a chair. "You two go to bed. I mean to leave early in the morning." she says to Dillian and Ashlie.

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

They both nod and opt to share a room while Tam is curled up on the couch, just lazing about. So... what should we do? she asked curiously.

Re: Christine ( \oO.Oo/ )

"Good question. This IS the last time we'll be able to take advantage of the... comforts of the castle. Anything particularly striking your fancy?" Christine replies, sticking her tongue out for Tam before removing the chastity belt for good.
