The trip was mostly uneventful. Kero caught more than a few glances. Once he heard an argument with the foreman about his presence. Apparently, he spooked the animals and that, in turn, spooked the workers. A deal was a deal, though, so the foreman managed to keep the workers from trying anything.
Spry was... nice. It was situated out of the way but apparently the craftsman here were exceptional at crafting. Detailed statues and carvings, tools of exceptional value, weapons and armor well balanced for both speed and power, all of these were loaded onto the vehicles and raw materials were unloaded. Kero heard a lot of noise coming from nearby. He located a party, apparently many of the villagers were participating. A musician of exceptional value played a jaunty tune and there was dancing and food to be had. Only problem was, that musician was one of the heroes that had killed Kero's friends. He didn't have a weapon at hand but Kero surmised he wasn't as defenseless as he looked. He had a shot goatee and brown hair the color of bark. He had nimble fingers and general air of well-earned confidence. He wore simple clothes, though, like much of the materials in the town, it was made well.
