Bio:
From Ilona's earliest memory she was being trained to fight with spear and mind, part of a new generation raised in the shadow of the dual threats of the Fomori and the Leviathans. She threw herself into her training with gusto, dedicating most of her time and effort to learning how to defend her city and her people, leaving little room for anything else in her stunted childhood. When she came of age it was revealed to her that she had been raised with a specific purpose in mind... She was to go on pilgrimage, to find and free the God of her people and land; nothing short of bringing Him back to Adamantia could save them from the myriad of threats that beset them on all sides. The young mermaid relished the challenge and the potential for fame and glory, and so she set out with her only friend at her side; a friendly octopus she called Galo. With few hints to go by it was a shot in the dark at best... But they wouldn't get anyone just waiting and hoping either.

Bio/Description
Bio:
Izria was always a bit of a strange duck. Born to an Anudorian couple, she looked more like a pale elf from the east. Even more strange was her hair, seemingly made of little filaments of fire, and her body was always hot to the touch, though not unpleasantly so. She also had the innate ability to manipulate fire, though she had no idea how she did so or why she could. The people of her home village always had a sense that there was something wrong about her, something they couldn't quite put their fingers on... Before her age had reached double digits she was almost what one might consider fully grown, and the townspeople declared that she was the product of some terrible sin on their part, casting her out of the village. She wandered the desert alone until she found a long-abandoned temple to some forgotten god, wherein she discovered a miracle; a bounty of food and water, still fresh and ripe, and other supplies that she needed badly. She feasted until she could eat no more, falling asleep satisfied.

When she awoke she was clothed in something rather odd. Just barely wide enough to cover her genitals, it curved then up between the cheeks of her rump and then up her back, ending in a thin collar around her neck, with two branches at her chest that curled around until they covered her nipples. Despite feeling as if it were made of silk it made her feel deeply uncomfortable, but when she tried to remove it she found the thing stuck to her tight no matter what she did.

It was then that she discovered that her new piece of clothing was alive. And it was not her friend. In fact it was rather cruel. But it did give her a few key hints; she had been cursed from birth, by what it wouldn't say, and led to this temple by fate. The only way to undo her curse would be to find its source... and that the clothing would not reveal. When she left the temple and headed on her way she turned back, and it was gone... No sign that it had ever existed. That left only one path; to journey and quest for the secrets of her origin and the curse that bound her.

Description

The Out of Character Section
The cursed item is a piece of clothing. It is sentient and cannot be removed. It is capable of pleasuring Izria whenever it wants (primarily via foreplay) and draining her EP, while also preventing her/other people from touching her if it wants to. It also can serve as a choke/starvation collar at will. It has a telepathic link with Izria.

Bio
Alice had always been different, from the moment of her birth. Of course, she was born without eyes, the sockets quite misshapen, but that wasn't the half of it. Something about the little girl just felt wrong. The weight of her when held, the pitch of her cries, something was just off. She was discarded by her parents while still a baby, laid at the steps of a small church in Badaria. Someone else's problem. She was raised for a time in the church, but the priest thought even less of her than did her parents. It didn't help that as a young girl she took to talking to nothing and no one for long stretches at a time, insisting that her friend wasn't imaginary at all, that he was right there... right there in her shadow, always with her. It gave people the creeps.

Her presence was tolerated and little else for some twelve years before the old priest died, and his replacement cast Alice out onto the streets alone, proclaiming that she was cursed and a menace. She wandered for some time, ekeing out a meager existence by begging, until a young man took her under his wing. A mercenary with a cold heart and a keen eye, he sensed that she was capable of great feats if cultivated properly. He taught her to wield a sword, and blind though she was she took to it quickly. With a keen sense of hearing and an almost supernatural knack she progressed from training to the battlefield in little under three years.

And then, at the age of fifteen, Alice killed a man for the first time. And... He manifested. The friend she had known all her life, had spent so many long hours speaking to, brought into the physical world. It didn't matter that people told her she no longer had a shadow at all, didn't matter that regardless of how she protested He never actually said a word, didn't matter that they claimed He was a horrible, misshapen beast. She didn't believe a word of it. She was just glad to finally be able to touch and feel him, to pat his head as she had always wished...

Together they fought and grew in power and skill, gaining experience as they did battle for one minor Badarian principality or another. The man who had taught Alice the blade left suddenly one day, unable to stomach fighting alongside the girl and her shadow, leaving her all alone with Him once more, just like in the olden days... But now she had a way out, a means of sustaining herself. So she traveled throughout Badaria, picking up jobs wherever she could get them, honing her skills and just trying to get by. Maybe some day she would make something of herself this way...

About 5'1, thin and pale, she normally wears whatever sort of a dress she can manage to buy, and always a black blindfold wrapped about her eyes. Actually isn't possessed of a shadow whenever her spirit guardian is manifested.

Cheat sheet:

Skills:
Defensive Stance: No standard action, dodge becomes 16d10 + 3. Get a free attack at 8d10 + 6 to-hit on any enemy that attacks and misses.
Lightning Strikes: Make three attacks at 7d10 + 3 to-hit, 1d12 + 22 damage
Intercepting Strike: Sacrifice an attack to make a feint with her weapon. If she wins treat the opponent as if they were parried, they lose all other attacks for the round, take -10 dodge until their next turn.
Spirited Warrior: Pay X EP to gain dodge, to-hit, or parry at 1d10 per 4 EP, +2X weapon damage for one attack of +X damage to each attack, +2X to a resistance, +X to all resistances, or +X Natural AC.
Creating an Opening: Can choose to take a -10 to parry DC. If successful, treat it as if she's feinted against them and give them all appropriate penalties. Her next attack against them has damage dice maximized.
Battle Dance: Gain +2d10 Dodge and to-hit, must attack every round. Take 5 damage each round. If hit make a reflex save against DC equal to damage dealt or be knocked prone and have battle dance canceled.

Spells:
Dark Armor: -The character pays X -1 EP. In addition, they must pay X - 4 EP upkeep every round.
-The characters gets a bonus to their Armor, melee damage, Bull Rush checks, Overrun checks, Swim checks, and Grapple equal to 2X. The character also gains +1 trade die in Stealth for every 5 points of X.
-The character may pay an additional 1 EP per mutation at activation in order to get the Greater Wings mutation or Tentacles special mutation, but each mutation increases the upkeep cost by 1 EP.
-This power may be used while the character is Bound or held in a Submission Hold. This power cannot be Countered or Dispelled.
Patch of Darkness: The character chooses a location, and after exerting a small amount of energy and will, a patch of inky darkness appears there. No creatures other than the character and those that they designate using this power can see within or through it, even with supernatural senses, which can allow the character to escape or attack without being detected. It does not block sound, smell or touch, however.
-Utility Power.
-The character pays 5 EP. In addition, maintaining the field costs 1 EP upkeep.
-The character then chooses an area the farthest edge of which must be within 200 feet. This area can be up to a 30x30x30 foot cube, or the area can spread out as the character desires, but it must be in 5x5x5 cubes and must be continuous. That area is instantly blacked out, causing any creatures within it to have the Blinded status until they leave its, and also preventing creatures from seeing through that area.
Shadowstalker: The character dematerializes, and moves from shadow to shadow in utter silence.

-The character takes their turn (standard and move action) to move from their current position to any other position that is within 100 feet. This movement must begin and end within spots that are not under direct light. It is completely silent, not allowing Perception checks to detect it unless the character appears in view of another creature. Only objects on their person go with them, and they cannot take other creatures along the way. If they are in a grapple and trying to escape, the creature grappling them gets to take their action if they win the grapple check that round before this power resolves, and if it would prevent the character from using this power for any reason the attempt fails.
-Alternatively, the character forces a target creature, who must be unaware of them, within 50 feet to make a Willpower vs Focus check against the character. If that creature loses, they take a penalty depending on how much they lost. If they lost by 20 or more, they immediately fall asleep. Description
Stands at 6’10” tall. She has impeccable skin as white as fresh snow and silvery scales across her back and the outsides of her legs and arms. Her build is lean and athletic. She has a dragon-like tail nearly half as long as her body which is covered in silver fur. Despite the color of her tail, her ankle-length, wavy hair is pitch black. She has two fox-like ears covered in black fur with silver tips on top of her head. She also has dragon-like, curving horns sprouting from her temples. Her face is diamond-shaped and her nose is slightly pointed to match. She has piercing gold eyes.

In battle she wears full steel plate and wields a poleaxe as tall as she is. Outside of combat she tends to wear extravagant crolian, anudorian, or amazonian dresses.

Biography
She was raised under the care of a mortal dragon cult which infested the remains of an abandoned castle in Crolia, never knowing who her parents were or why they weren’t with her. The dragon cult worshiped her as a living idol come to lead them across donevrion. Under their care she wanted for nothing. She received an education from them to make any lordling jealous. By the time she was of age she was taller and stronger than any of her followers. But maturing around grown humans who showed nothing but respect and deference to her couldn’t teach her empathy. She thinks no more of her followers than she does the beasts she learned to breed and tame as a hobby. She takes what she wants or who she wants whenever she wants. And she expects deference to her superiority from everyone, even if she has to beat them into it.

So when the time came to formally pick up her role in leading her cult she did so happily, but she doesn’t pretend to care about the happiness such might bring across donevrion. She does it entirely to accumulate more servants and experience more pleasures.

Bio:
Centuries ago Eulalia was but a normal elven girl, born to normal elven parents, living a normal elven life. Much has happened in the years since then, much of it unpleasant. The alien invasion had come and gone, ravaging her homeland and her people. But of course, the aliens weren't the primary source of her ire or target of her hatred... The invasion of the orcs had shaped much of her life, had sent her fleeing as a refugee, running for her life, and at various points had seen her enslaved by the foul barbarians. Long ago her father had been killed by them, her mother enslaved and lost to her forever, probably dead by now.

The scars Eulalia bears, both literal and figurative, led her to seek out some means of combating the orcs, of driving them back into their homelands and even beyond into the frozen sea... A couple of centuries was more than enough to delve into magic, to learn all she needed. Of course, simple magic just would not do. A fireball was a powerful thing, but how many orcs could it kill? A handful at most, and that only if they were stupid. There was only one way she could even conceive of accomplishing anything on such a grand scale alone; she would learn the dark arts of necromancy, and turn the orcs own dead against them. She would only need to get started, and it would snowball from there... and she would exterminate every last one of the brutes, or die trying.

Description
A shell of the woman she once was. Her facial features are sharper and her green eyes are cold and completely devoid of the vim and vigor they once carried. She cut her ankle-length white hair as a show of loyalty to her mistress, and it’s only recovered as far as her waist since she began her new life. Her skin is much the same, pale with the exception of her blackened left arm and a few small veins of inky darkness that stretch across her left breast and the ribs below it. Her manacle is no longer present, however, as Elawdrin took her demon from her. Instead, she proudly wears a silver collar which serves as a mark of the angel’s ownership of her body, mind, and soul.

In battle she wears black clothing underneath darksteel scale mail, and skillfully wields a blackened greatsword of simple make that stands almost as tall as she does. She is every bit the ferocious warrior she was before her breaking, but she’s lost any sense of joy at the thrill of a close fight and is absolutely remorseless when it comes to doing her mistress’s work.

Bio
A version of Tamonten who never escaped Elawdrin’s clutches. Kringlicsly, Sashien, and Sensensiel never found Elawdrin’s prison, and as a result her escape attempt failed and left her as the only survivor, even losing her unborn child during the fighting. The fallen angel spent months tormenting her by changing her memories nightly, completely robbing her of her sense of what was real and imagined, and forcing her to reenact her every failure, mainly the escape and all the lives it cost, in addition to forcing her to continue her work as a breeder and coming up with other creative cruelties to inflict upon her. Eventually the swordswoman broke completely, and Elawdrin turned her attentions elsewhere believing that her former plaything would become as boring as all the rest.

But weeks afterward, the resilient warrior did something that reignited Elawdrin’s interest. With no hope left, a shaky grasp on reality, a fractured personality, and nearly a complete loss of all her true memories, Tamonten’s broken mind pieced itself together in a mockery of the woman she once was and she pledged herself as Elawdrin’s knight. She forgot her past and all that she once was and became an unwavering champion of the angel’s efforts. Now she coldly serves as one of the fallen angel’s most fervent followers, working to collect more victims, breeding them as desired, and generally answering the call to perform any of her new mistress’s whims.

Bio/Description
Hamera was one of the few sidhe younglings still sent out into the mortal world when they came of age. What happened to her is perhaps a lesson as to why the practice is dying out. She had a brash temperament and a strong sense of justice and she decided to aid those that were being hurt by the alien threat. She knew of the aliens, of course, and had heard stories of the threat but then she got to know people whose lives had been torn apart by the invaders. She heard of children having their souls torn out, of friends that had been transformed into enemies. Over time, her anger got to her. She walked into the darkness to fight against the alien scum with the power granted to her by the natural world... and was captured within the week.

A full year passed. A strange creature emerged from the ranks of the aliens, calling herself Nyx. She was to act within the ranks of the enemy, weakening their defenses and recruiting new servants. Her new justice is the rise of the aliens, her new calling was to serve their will. And yet... the power of the Sidhe is not so easily extinguished. Despite their work, the aliens were never able to make Nyx completely their own. She sometimes displays aberrant behavior, such as mercy. It disgusts her and she comforts herself with the knowledge that it happens rarely.

While in view of other, less beings, Nyx does her best to appear normal. She changes into a member of the current population. Her bodysuit, given to her by her masters, is subject to her shapeshifting abilities, changing with her. It acts as a second skin, keeping her slime from leaking out and revealing her identity. She has a preference for changing her tentacles into her hair and when she reveals her true form, several bright red eyes open across her body, adding to her strange appearance.


The Out of Character Section
Nyx is a spy, not a soldier. She doesn't fight, she kills (or corrupts, as the case may be). Her soul is a blasphemy against all that is good and people who can see it often end up nauseated and are quickly killed to maintain her cover. However, as stated above, the portion of her that was Hamera is still intact, if swallowed whole and weakened.

Bio:
Delfyn is a young Elven noble who was taught the art of magic from quite a young age, and though she took to it well enough (especially to the areas of healing and enhancing the abilities of herself and others) her heart wasn't quite in the slinging of spells. She sought something different, something more... active and gritty. Despite her physical limitations and the objections of those around her she insisted on being taught the way of the sword, and by the time she was just barely an adult she had become a reasonably competent knight after a fashion, and had even enchanted the gear that she intended to use for the purpose.

Up till now, though, she's lived a fairly sheltered life. Few interactions with the common folk and little in the way of experience with the world outside of the books she read both in her studies and for the sheer pleasure of reading. This has left her quite inexperienced, groping around for her way as she sets out into the world to make a name for herself.

Bio
Born and raised in a small farming village in the Amazon, Iordain was always close to nature. Never much for growing things, he instead found himself in charge of raising the livestock for his family, both in caring for them (something he proved oddly adept at, given his natural ability to speak with the animals when he needed to) and in defending them from outside threats. To that end he learned the way of the sword from his mother, developing a style similar to hers; light on his feet dodging and attacking with speed as his primary concern. As he came of age and grew ready to set out on his own he decided to travel around the jungle, seeking new challenges and adventures; he found himself particularly drawn to the idea of ridding the jungle of some of its pests, particularly the arachne that plague the region. How to go about doing this, however, he hasn't a clue.

Description
Possessed of a slender, feminine frame, Iordain was often mistaken for a girl in his home village. It's a misunderstanding he does little to combat given the way he grew his hair out, and his penchant for wearing feminine clothes, encouraged by his mother. Perhaps if it had come up more often he would have been more diligent about ensuring no such mistakes could occur, but most of his fellow villagers simply took his gender for granted without comment.

Bio/Description

Aalvera is fairly short, standing at about 5'2, and is usually to be found in brightly colored feminine clothing, usually dresses of some form or fashion.


Not all dark elves have stopped worshipping the demons in the modern day... One such Amazonian tribe contained a hedge witch named Lianna, who decided to summon a demon to sire a child and heir to her magic that would be closer to the gods she worshipped, more powerful than a purebred dark elf could ever be.

In that regard Aalvera was both a success and a disappointment. A success in that he was born with tremendous potential and affinity for magic, a disappointment because he showed none of the qualities necessary for using it to effect. He was always physically weak, and he grew to be emotionally weak as well. Easily provoked to fear from a young age, he seemed virtually unwilling to take risks of almost any kind. That he manifested his true nature as an incubus at the beginning of puberty was a further disappointment, but one his mother was willing to work around through various means, mostly by including a young witch named Nara in his training. The two grew fairly close, both naturally and of necessity…

Girls weren’t his only interest, of course, to the wry amusement of his mother, and though he had always been feminine in build she still felt slight sense of consternation when her son started wearing feminine clothing to go along with it, his voice never quite taking on a deeper pitch after puberty… His budding sexuality was a source of teasing from his mother and some of his fellow tribesfolk, especially Nara and the men, but he didn’t much care either way.

Of course, all was not quite well. Unbeknownst to all the one who fathered Aalvera had laid a curse on him when he was still in his mother’s belly, one that only triggered much later; one birthday Nara fell into a deep sleep and refused to wake up no matter what was done. A message from the demon made clear what would have to be done… Aalvera would have to seek out the demon and have him remove the curse, else the girl would sleep for eternity. Much as he hated the idea, the half-demon couldn’t bear the thought of Nara never waking up on his account… and so he ventured out along the path the demon’s message had indicated, unsure of what would await him along the way.
