DVD rippers

I've managed to coble together a media server out of old computer parts, now I need some media to slap onto it.

Any recommendations for DVD ripping software to make my completely legal back ups?

Daemon tools lite, that is what I use.

By DVD ripper I mean Media Ripper.

As in something that'll convert a protected DVD movie into .mp4/.mkv/etc

Dont really want to faff about with ISOs over a network connection

are you meaning something that will like um rip a flash movie like orbit downloader can,
plus if that is what you mean theirs firefox plugins that also do that

Uhhh... no


For anyone thats interested, I did find a solution.
Use DVD decrypter to decode and rip the raw files from the DVD.
Use Handbreak to convert the files to MKV/etc
