Re: Finding the Breaking Point (Hafnium)
The moderately populated yard didn't take very long for Tamonten to travel across even with the glares that many were casting her way, but when she reached the group of would be escapees they closed up before she'd even said a word. The orc woman and the scarred night elf were sitting on a picnic table, one of the few pieces of furniture left out in the yard, while the rest had been standing around them in a loose semicircle. When Tamonten approached, however, the two wolfish women trained their gazes upon her immediately, and as she approached the pale swordswoman was able to hear the low growl that the two of them were emitting. The gruff stepped into her path as she drew near, towering over her imperiously as a similarly threatening low rumble signaled for her to stop. The violet alraune and one of the women with canine features now startlingly similar to Krig's stepped up to flank her.
Getting closer allowed Tamonten to notice a few more details about each member of the group, like the lines of green that spread throughout the alraune's body and her unnaturally pale eyes, or that the two women with the ears and tails of wolves were completely identical save for the color of their hair (and fur), one white and the other red. The orc was the most standard of them considering what little Tamonten knew of their kind, as she was athletic and muscular but lacked anything that made her appear unnatural, and the only thing that Tamonten could see that was different about the gruff was his size. The elven man was unusual, but unlike the others it didn't seem to have any supernatural source, as his body was covered with intricately inscribed scars.
"What do you want, demon?" the man grumbled darkly, and as there were no guards within earshot (as far as Tamonten could tell at least) she delivered her message. Raised eyebrows greeted her announcement, and the alraune was the first to respond, speaking in a low hiss; "What makes you think we need your help to get out of here? You could be a spy for the harpy!" The crimson haired wolf sister interjected; "We saw you talking to Varthic..... *Sniff* *Sniff* Half blood.... Definitely demon... Untrustworthy..." The other sister quickly spoke up in turn; "But half human too... What's the harm in hearing what she's got to say?" The darker one growled again, and then the half dozen centered their attention fully onto Tamonten, waiting.
Tamonten: HP = 85, PP = 59, EP = 64, Status = Sealing Collar, Pregnant
