*Chase did a few double checks on the work done to make sure it was gonna hold and worked to finish up on this truck knowing end or not of the attack these things were still needed for pretty much any chance of escape.*

"Nothing says 'All dead' like a fire axe to the neck," she remarks, obviously clear that she heard the chief but not wholly focusing her attention on that thought. She probably wouldn't until all the zombies had moved along. The notion of building a barricade out of zombie corpses really should have bothered her more than it was, but something about the situation just told her it would be necessary and they had to use everything they had available to them. If they could do it in that 300 movie, why couldn't they do it here, too?

Firing again, Robert downs the Zombie he had shot before, a glance about showing that the few zombies remaining probably would only last a couple more volleys.

Finishing her checks on her current truck, Chase looks up to see the same thing: this attack seems to be almost over. Annoyingly, however, the thought strikes Chase that, given how many cities behind the swarm have been taken over by the zombies, the swarm should have been bigger. Much, much bigger... Possibly in the thousands.

A-L, keeps on passing the ammo along, someone with a medical background might recognizes the symptoms of shock as she works without truely noticing what's going on.

*Chase grumbles inwardly knowing things are just gona keep getting worse before they get better and steps back from the truck just finished glancing at all the vehicles gathered hoping they had something bigger then just a small pickup truck amongst the vehicles*

Robert holds fire until a zombie's in range, trying to bring down another of the creatures.

One more round of shots leaves only a small handful of zombies left, 3 of which are hidden from the main barricade by the truck which Robert is taking cover behind. Drawing a bead, Robert nails one in the right shoulder, likely breaking the bone as that arm goes limp.

Looking around, Chase notices that the only trucks that the police kept out are pickups. Anything else, they probably considered to be of better use in the barricades. Of course, if she wanted to, Chase could try and get a team together to go find better vehicles later.

A-L still passes on ammo while in a state of shock.

Robert shoots for the zombie he just injured, trying to down the creature.
