Re: Homelands (Guan Yu)
Getting a slight surprise, Tomoe was actually allowed to join Primrose at her kitchen duty. "Hmm, she did allow Kei in, so maybe I should not be surprised." the miko thought about the situation as she entered the kitchen area proper. The young alraune gave her some work right away in the form of carrots and apples, something that the priestess could easily manage. Her cooking skill was nothing to be amazed about, but Tomoe could handle the basics, and she went through the two different piles in short order while setting the respective ingredients into their own bowls until they would be prepared. Another double pile was presented to her right after, this particular one being a little less work as the grapes required no cutting, only plucking each off from the stem so they too could be bowled. The miko worked happily, getting a bit of satisfaction from the fact that she was helping with the daily grind of the farm people in some small way and earning the group's right to stay over, even if it had been given to them already to most of the alraune anyway.
Primrose was still quite interested in Tomoe, who could see the many looks given by the young alraune quite clearly. She did not make a number of it all as it appeared to be a very different kind of gaze when compared to what Wistaria or Betty usually gave her, or that was what the priestess thought of it anyway. Even with the dream she had last night causing some wariness towards the little one, the miko let it happen without incident.
Once all the other ingredients ran out, Primrose had another task she wanted Tomoe to do, getting a bunch of potatoes from the basement. "Sure." she told the alraune, following the instructions given as she entered the basement to look for the requested potatoes and get them to the kitchen.
