How to get OCR working in VNR

Anyone know how I get this option to work?

I know google translate on mobile does a good job of it. But how do you use it in visual novel reader?

The OCR option in VNR isn't very good yet, but here's how:
You need to install MODI OCR.
There should be a download link for it under Preferences> Locations> OCR in VNR.
Then you should be able to activate OCR under Preferences> OCR

I recommend KanjiTomo instead. Requires Java, but it's free. kanjitomo.net/
