Current Country of Residence: I've been a lot of places and done a lot of things. I'm currently going to University as a mature student in the UNited States.

~ Real-life appearance ~

Eye Color: Blue
Hair Color: Blonde
Hair length: Astronaut cut short. Longer than military, shorter than politician.
Glasses: Goggles. I don't wear spectacles to see, though.
Features: Plenty of scars from a life full of misadventures. On my face, too.

Cyclops: With an eyepatch, okay. Otherwise two eyes are fine.

2) Centipedes / Millipedes (they are creepy, and I got bit on the leg by a centipede... it was extremely painful and got badly infected)
3) The use of "should of", "would of", "could of" instead of the actual "would've or would have" "could've", "should've"

Other manga of interest: Slice of life stuff like Yotsuba! or CHromartie High (I read the latter in Japan, it amused me).
Video game series: Popolocrois, Animal Crossing, Kirby, classic styled Resident Evil and classic Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, Tactics Ogre Battle.
TV Show: Adventure Time
Anime: Trigun
Webcomic: Whomp!
Drink: Mountain Dew Code Red is a guilty pleasure, as is a dirty vodka Martini. Stirred, not shaken. Melon soda (I miss it sooooo much from Japan!)
Shoe: I prefer military style boots, not for fashion reasons, but because I feel most comfortable in them and they are durable.

Color: Chrome blue, or Navy, or even Royal.
Music Genre: Rock, but I give everything a chance so as not to miss out on something catchy I may like.

Smoke: Only if I am drinking with friends, and even then only rarely.
Swear: In appropriate company. More often I will do "radio edit" swearing.
Flip out and kill people: ... and then eat their remains.
Play Guitar/Air Guitar: I am the opposite of musically gifted.
Knit scarves for orphans: My mother does, does that count?
Collect plushes, stuffed animals from the thrift store, and lots and lots of figurines: I have a stuffed Lynx as a surrogate kitty cat, and I had a giant alligator given to me by an ex girlfriend.
Resemble a otaku hikikomori in several ways, including possibly being one?: It may be that I am a band otaku, but I regularly socialize in real life with others, and do not mind leaving my room / apartment.
Have furry leanings?: On the right occasions, sure. Not a regular thing, though.

~ The Future ~

Can you see into it?: Not even close. It might make life easier, but also much more boring.
What are your hopes for it?: I hope I can have a secure job where I earn enough to help my family if they should need it, pay all of my bills, and have enough left over for the fun stuff I want to buy / do.

Other Stuff

Reason for joining: I'm generally a lurker, but sometimes I have interesting points to make, if only I could post and contribute.
Other random trivia: I've spent quite a lot of time in Japan in the past, and used to spend nights in the internet cafes reading manga and drinking melon soda when the trains would stop running.
