Heading deeper in, Kylie quickly found where she had found Bob and remembered how much smaller he'd been that day compared to now. Kylie had a couple of directions she could go, further in, or up it seemed, as there were many stalactites hanging from the ceiling for her to grab hold of and jump across and to and whatnot.

Kylie grinned and decided a little shaking up would do them some good, she'd let the traps do their own work by themselves. She knew if anyone got caught Miu would send them back. Instead, she slid further back into a shadow with a wicked grin and cackled softly into the tunnels, letting the sound echo. She'd done this before to targets just to rattle their nerves...

But after that she was heading deeper into the mines, it was too early and with too little area to move in and around to start tagging them herself, she needed more options.

Miu wasn't disturbed by her cackling, it seemed only to annoy her further. "Girls, don't let it bother you, she's trying to rattle you and all," Miu told everyone before they began splitting off into twos and threes to travel down each path.

Kylie for her part, found something new, while she was heading further down. It looked like a little worm of some sort, or a detached tentacle. It was about two feet long or so, and it had a head and eyes too, and it opened a mouth up and let out a cute little squeal. It was blue in color, and it seemed interested in Kylie as it poked at her ankle.

Kylie thought the little worm was fucking ADORABLE and immediately bent down to give it a little pat, before focusing on what else was around her immediately. The groups had split up, but no one had hit her ropes quite yet so she had some time before she started knocking trainees out of this little game.

So the worm got little pets while she kept her eyes and ears peeled, waiting for an opening in a corner that had deep shadows and a good angle on the room she was in, patient and well hidden.

When she patted the little critter, it squeaked again and opened up its mouth again, where she saw a quartet of smaller tendrils slithered out around her fingers and tickled them a little. It didn't seem to have teeth Kylie saw, but it seemed quite interested in Kylie Ventura. Before Kylie even knew what was going on, it decided that it wanted to follow her and coiled around her wrist of the hand she petted it with, and was holding onto her, not too tightly, but tight enough to keep from falling off, with its head positioned on the back of her hand as if it were resting it there.

Then she heard the snap of one of her traps, and she heard Asha let out a yelp, and suddenly a blast of fire flew out of Asha's mouth as she roared in fright. "W-WHAT THE HELL!" Asha cried as the gout of flame shot out of her mouth.

Moving around a bit, Kylie saw Akiko was with Asha, and she made to let her down as Miu came up with Sheena. "Nope Akiko, don't get her down just like that. Alright, Asha, head back to the temple, you're out," Miu told her, sighing and shaking her head a bit as they got Asha down and sent her back to the temple to await whether or not she would be punished.

She told Akiko to join her and Sheena in their pairing and then they moved on, down the path that Asha and Akiko had been on. Soon enough, Kylie heard Annie let out a squeal too, though not from one of her traps. Maneuvering around a bit, she saw that Annie was surrounded by a small mass of the little critters like her new little friend. Annie had climbed on top of a rock that they couldn't climb, and Mara she couldn't see, though she knew that Mara was around there somewhere, she just didn't know where.

Kylie just smiled wider when she saw and Annie horded by the little worms, who didn't seem to be doing anything aggressive. Hers was pretty well behaved and Kylie gave it another little pet before climbing pre-emptively up along a stalagtite to avoid Mara, who she knew full well was no idiot.

If she couldn't see Mara, and knew that she was supposed to be there with Annie, then that was to Kylie's disadvantage and she climbed to make being spotted outright harder as well as to watch what the little worms were doing. They were certainly an interesting little bunch.

The little wormlings didn't seem hostile towards Annie, though she was looking a little frightened of them and waving her axe at them to try and shoo them off, also in a non hostile manner. It was a stand off of the non hostiles against each other, and no matter which side ended up losing, Kylie won, from an entertainment standpoint at least, if not more. At the petting she gave it, the little critter on her arm squeaked happily at her again and squeezed a little tighter, as if hugging her.

After a few moments or so, Annie noticed that the little wormlings were trying to hurt her, and using the handle of her axe, she gently poked at one of them, and it squeaked a bit at her, opening its mouth and feeling out the handle of her weapon before seemingly spitting it out in disgust, obviously not liking its taste. "Okay Annie think, what's Akiko always telling you again? Okay yeah, um.... W-What's the matter there little one? Are you hungry?" Annie stopped and asked herself slowly, gently slapping her cheeks before reaching into her little pouch on her belt, and pulling out some jerky, which she held down to the little wormling.

Kylie's little friend was a bit larger than the rest, and when it saw Annie doing this, it tilted its head to the side before looking up at Kylie with a slightly worried look on its face. As if to say, "She probably shouldn't do that,"

Kylie had to resist the urge to facepalm as Annie realized that maybe feeding was a good idea. It wasn't. She didn't have enough jerky to feed them all. But she couldn't move without knowing where Mara was. Taking a careful look all around her, she slid back down and left Annie to her fate, opting to head further into the Mine to avoid Mara and anyone else searching around. If they couldn't operate in this cave's natural hazards, which they'd need to do ANYWHERE in this jungle in order to Range it, they had no hope of ever catching her. Getting caught out and rendered useless by a critter would be the same as losing for a different punishment. She left Annie to Mara's care and slid deeper into the Mines, stroking her new friend as if to say don't worry as she looked around for any large caverns or splits to be careful of.
