Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)
"Aye we can. We've got plenty of food and room to spare. And... yes they have. See, when the island was first colonized by Crimea. We minotaurs, and the goliaths, were already here. There were several clans of both, and we minotaurs were splintered on whether or not to accept these newcomers and whatnot. We of the southern and eastern tribes saw the potential for making our tribes stronger, and so we chose to join them, as did the Goliath tribes, while the northern minotaur tribes refused to accept them, but didn't really outright attack, for fear of reprisal we think," Baro replied, pulling a piece of jerky and munching on it, and handing Kylie a piece too.
The rest of that day was spent moving along, though they had to go a little slower as they had to cross one of the rivers running down from the mountain top. It took them the better part of an hour to find a spot to cross at, and by the time they'd gotten across and a little further up the mountain to come down from the summit part on the northern side, it was nightfall, and they made camp, though Baro didn't light a fire, for safety's sake.
