Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

"I know hon, I just thought I'd ask. Just be careful out there, okay. We'll keep things together here as best we can. Maria and Asha can handle the rangers, and I'll make sure if the girls come back before you return, that they're good and distracted until you get back," Giselle replied, hugging and hanging onto Kylie as they swayed back and forth. "Alright, I'll... see if I can coax him into talking. And you don't have to tell me that. I hope you can manage to persuade everyone in Tear Cove to listen up and stuff. You might even be able to get that one other dragon Kaal mentioned, the gold one, that lives near Tear Cove, to help you against the green one," she went on to say, smiling and winking, with her sea dragon peering over her shoulder at Kylie, hissing once, before it disappeared again, as if to say no he wouldn't tell her jack shit, but Giselle just rolled her eyes at him, before ushering everyone into the dining room to eat.

After dinner was done, Kylie was led by Giselle to the tower, where they went up to the tip top of it, with Giselle carrying a small jar of water with them. When they got up to the top, she sat down with Kylie, and opened the jar of water. "Come on buddy, please... we could really use your help," Giselle muttered softly, before the little sea dragon peered over her shoulder again, before swooping around in front of her, nipping at her hands almost playfully, but it was more an affectionate way.

"What questions, do you wish to ask?" the little sea dragon asked Kylie, glancing around at her.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Kylie nibbled her way through the delicious stew and followed Giselle up after, smiling as Tidecaller actually came out to speak with her. Wrapping an arm around Giselle, her wife would see the night light up again with the currents. This had become fairly normal if Giselle came up to join her. She had sleepless nights on occassion still. They'd watch the islands magic till dawn.

Now they could watch it again while Tidecaller asked her what she wanted to know. She sighed and watched the unique night currents wash around slowly. They always slowly rose from the ground as the sun faded and it's own overpowering tide stopped holding them down. They were quiet and beautiful, swirling purples and blacks. They had a special life all their own and one that Kylie had been born in, been raised in, loved in, lived in. She looked at Tidecaller and saw the depths of the ocean there in his little jar.

You knew Terra... longer then I did.... And she had woven those currents into a wall using only the ocean and the storms.... I can call down the storms, I can walk on the ocean floor... But I'm still unsure how she did it.... And I'm about to tamper on a bigger scale then some plants, an orange tree... does this island have a spirit like the ocean depths do? she asked him, trying to avoid questions he wouldn't want to answer, like terra's spells.

We stare out at these beautiful lights... and I know what they are. They're... the natural occuring magics of the planet... I can draw on them, fiddle with them, twist them.... but I'm trying to turn this place into a fortress out passed the waters... and a paradise within... and I'm nervous. she continued, staring out at the currents. When she really looked.... they changed... when she let herself extend outwards, let herself feel them... Giselle had never told her so far but her body reacted strongly to, the lights on her skin, those glowing lines flickering against what she was touching, sensing. Made it easy for the Siren to enjoy the same. Kylie being a magical lightning rod, her eyes wide open, her breathing calm and level.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

"Hmm... you've known this island longer than I have. So normally, you should know better than I. But... yes, it does. I have spoken with it, on occasion, since we returned from Garellia. I have forbidden Giselle from speaking of it, because you did not need to know, at that time," Tidecaller replied, slowly at first, as if trying to pick his words. "And you wish to shore up the defenses of this island, from the outside world. What do you have to be nervous about?" he went on to say, slithering more around Giselle's shoulder, while Giselle played with the water she'd brought, weaving it around to make funny shapes, and whatnot.

"The currents... of this place, are different, much more so, than Garellia. Are you wanting to ask me, to help you increase the undersea defenses around this island, so that none may enter, without your say so? I don't have enough power on my own, to perform that powerful a magic, just so you know. I may be strong, but I'm not that strong," Tidecaller said, tilting his head to the side when he asked Kylie his question.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Not that, no.... This. Kylie said, holding up a hand palm up, where a darker current from somewhere other then the earth twisted into a small pulsing globe like a dark star. It was so impossibly hungry. And then tiny hecate stuck her head out of it and blew a trumpet before wriggling into Giselle's lap, clapping at the water shapes.

This.... current, this stuff. it's like tar... Hecate is almost entirely made of it.... I don't know what it is, where it comes from... I can use it to draw the currents in... like right now. Kylie said, her eyes flickering around while indeed, all the currents were bending slightly, small streamers sliding out to pour into the small orb, before she closed her hand and it vanished, and the currents twisted a little and went back to normal.

As for the ocean underneath? I don't want to wall it off... not yet, I want to do something, so much more fun then that.... What would you think about an underwater city, all around the island. she asked him, smiling, thinking about it for a moment. And well.... eventually yes, we'll need to seal it off. But... did Terra have a library? Kylie asked him curiously.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Giselle giggled at the tiny Hecate bouncing out into her lap, clapping at the watery shapes she was making, so Giselle made more to entertain Hecate more. "An underwater city eh. It sounds intriguing. Though... difficult, to say the least. And... perhaps, she had a library. Only one person is allowed to enter it though, at the moment, and that person, is who I am attached to. Only she, once inside, can dictate, who else can come and go into it. But alas, even I do not know exactly where her library is. She would have to locate it herself, for the most part. I can help her, of course, but I cannot give her the exact location of it, as I myself don't know where that location is," Tidecaller replied, looking genuinely intrigued about an underwater city. "As for your city, Giselle and her sisters, could more than anything, help get that started. Aquatic fey, and other aquatic beings from all over, could be brought to dwell in it, making it a paradise hidden from the surface," he added after a moment, looking up at Giselle, who looked stunned that she had that much pull now.

"W-What do you mean, buddy? How could I and my sisters start that up? I'm just a lowly siren," Giselle asked, looking a bit skeptical that she had that much pull.

"You would be surprised, Giselle, how much pull among the fey, you truly have now," was all Tidecaller responded with, making Giselle look a little more skeptical, but curious at the same time.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Well... you told me that you and tidecaller were still training about becoming like the elder fey right? I can't imagine any fey who wouldn't respect that to a large degree hun. Kylie said, remembering Giselle's weaponized voice. And her control of water, Hecate was still playing with her, clapping and sometimes trying to mimic the shapes. When there was a circle in the water she curled up to nom on her tail again.

And what do you know, you have a secret super library to find apparently. It's probably in the middle of the ocean or something rediculous knowing Terra.

Now was the time for the meditating, Kylie's eyes closing as she leaned further into Giselle, sinking into the currents, riding them, bathing in them, understanding them as best she could. But there were always currents she couldn't pass, those deep molten lines of fire and stone that were beyond her, barring her way, keeping her from delving deeper passed them, lashing out at her own cold flame to push her back before her own nature destroyed the currents or they did the same to her. Where are you....

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

"Aye, I'm still quite a ways off on that regard, I think. But I'm slowly getting closer," Giselle replied, giggling softly at the sight of little Hecate playing with her tail. "And yes, knowing Terra, I'd wager it is down there, somewhere. I think I have an idea to start at though, that doesn't involve me going all the way back to Garellia, which I honestly doubt she put it there. Too close to land, and too easy to find by chance," she went on to say, looking deep in thought for the moment, while Tidecaller swirled around her head, and then the little Hecate, to amuse her.

Giselle gently took Kylie's hands as Kylie started meditating, holding them as Tidecaller watched them curiously. "Do not try and force it, Kylie. They will come naturally, in time. If you try and force them, you could hurt both yourself, and them," Tidecaller said, almost telepathically, but also aloud in a soft tone, seeming to know what Kylie was trying to do, though if she opened her eyes to look, she'd see he was coiled around her right wrist, watching her intently.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

not forcing, just... poking. Augh, why is it always fire? I can't do fire! Kylie whined quietly while she flitted about in the currents with what amounted to a magical stick, prodding at things curiously. In reality she was tasting, taking tiny pieces from the currents, translating them into something her body would understand. Those things more in tune with her own power spectrum she'd figured out had a sweet scent of taste to them, and things soured spectacularly the further she got from what she could deal with. For example, Kylie enjoyed the smell of sulfur, brimstone, but... when she got near the molten currents, they felt, smelled, and tasted bitter, and were painful to be near to.

A water or air current however was almost universally soothing and a little salty, not perfect but good, electricity, and Cold... Deep cold and darkness were sweet like sugar cane and tempting to get lost in. Those deep places away from fire and light.

The sun currents tasted like water, that is to say the flavor itself was hard to even notice so common was it around her all the time. But she could notice when it wasn't around. The moon was a special kind of tangy.

Still, she kept poking and prodding, trying to find her way deeper into the roots of the island, trying to circle around the rich red currents deep in the earth away from the things she knew. Darkness and Cold were plentiful and she rode in them but magma, fire, flames, pressure all became more and more common the deeper she went until she was simply forced to stop.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

"That's precisely why it is fire, Kylie," Tidecaller said, as Kylie prodded the currents with her metaphorical stick, where the currents prodded back, a bit, the hotter substances being a little too intense for her to bear, such as the molten areas beneath the surface.

The roots of the island, were more difficult to figure out and delve into, than Kylie thought, it seemed. Kylie got a major zap, as she neared something, that could only be the roots of the island, that didn't seem to want her to touch them at the moment, and forced her back. Tidecaller suddenly prodded Kylie's mind. "Calm yourself young one. Patience, is a virtue, You won't gain anything by trying to force it. And it won't allow you in without patience. Think of it as... its own entity," Tidecaller told Kylie softly, while Kylie felt Giselle's hands gently squeezing her own, and a small rush of water brushed across her skin all over.

Opening her eyes, if or when she did, Kylie would see that she was blanketed in water, a thin sheet of it wrapped around her like a dress of sorts. She then exploded the watery dress, and she saw the twinkling of tiny water droplets in the moonlight around her, making it look almost like it was snowing, in a sense, which was something that couldn't be seen on the island, really, save at the top of the mountain, and only in winter most likely.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

But... but... but T.T Kylie whimpered after she got bizzapped away. Coming out of it, she was snowed on of all things by Giselle, Kylie Oooooing' appreciatively.

Sighing, Kylie grrrrrrrrd at the ground but flopped back for now. She'd poke it with a stick again later. Really big stick.... made of hurricane >.<

Scrunching up her face for a bit, Kylie relaxed and leaned into Giselle and watched the pretty lights for the night, enjoying it. Whatever it is down there hiding, it's a butthead.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

"Hmhm, I heard from Tidecaller. I gotta ask though, how have you tried to poking it? Have you been... gentle? Gently caress it, like you would one of the girls next time, not like a foreign thing trying to tame it, but a kind, and gentle loving friend, or mother... see if the reaction is any different," Giselle giggled softly, leaning back with Kylie, and continuing to make the water do neat and pretty things, as she kissed Kylie on the cheek.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Nope. Kylie said, tilting up her nose. Gonna kill the dragon, then take over the island officially, and if it wants to stay hidden then fuck it. she pouted, spending the rest of the night with Giselle in the tower.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Giselle chuckled softly at Kylie's words and wrapped an arm around her, holding her close. "Alright honey... but I'm sure you can do it. I believe in you. and I also know that it'll come around soon enough. You just have to be confident, and believe in yourself too," Giselle cooed back to Kylie, nuzzling her cheek against Kylie's and hugging her.

No one bothered them through the night, though Kylie did see one of the little darkmantles float past them, before falling asleep, chasing a large moth bug that was flying around.

...

*thump* *thump*

Kylie heart the soft beating of a heart, that wasn't her own, nor Giselle's. It pulsed with a strange pattern, and feeling coursing through it, that Kylie didn't recognize at first.

*thump* *thump*

It sounded again in her mind's eye. She felt Giselle in the waking world holding her, but this wasn't the waking world, this... this was the dream world.

*thump* *thump*

the heartbeat came again, this time pulsing with a strange, yet at the same time, familiar pattern to it. Something, was reaching out to her, trying to talk to her. The heartbeat continued like this for a few minutes, pulsing softly in her mind, as if trying to formulate words to speak to her, of convey what it wished to tell her. Finally, after what felt like hours, though in reality it was only half an hour at most, she heard something faint, in the distance. ".... us," was all it said at first, "..lp ..." it then said again, with Kylie feeling the entity that this voice belonged to, seemed to be frightened, panicky, and unsure if whether or not to trust her. "Help... us!" it finally said, in a way that Kylie could understand, her mind being gently touched by a power that she recognized, a current of energy that she had not long before tried to touch, gain entry to.

"Help us... please!" the voice came again, this time sounding less distant, and nearer to her. "Decay... Corruption... Chaos. Decay... Corruption... Chaos!" the voice said, several more times, as if trying to warn Kylie of something. The voices stopped after chanting those words about 20 times, ceasing for a full minute before Kylie saw a faint vision, one of sickly green tendrils, dozens of them, all of which were slowly weaving their way through multiple portals, each tendril pulsing slightly every minute or so, where Kylie felt a slight pain transmitted to her, from the entity that had spoken to her. "Decay... Corruption... Chaos. Hurt... pain... weak," the voice whispered softly, as if frightened to speak further.

"Help us... too weak... to fight alone any longer," the voice whimpered, as if about to cry, while another pair of visions were shown to Kylie, one of a vile blackened axe with its blade buried in a bloody withered tree that was split in half. The second vision, meanwhile was of alraune... black ones, and quite a few of them. In the second image, some of them were tainting, corrupting, and otherwise withering some of the other colored alraune, using them to satisfy their own desires and urges, and incubate their own seedlings. The vision quickly turned to a portent of what was to come, if this was left unchecked, and she saw the flora and fauna surrounding the alraune village near Ferynrial withered and dead, the village burning. "Protect... please," the voice said again, before Kylie's dreams turned black again, as she was gently caressed by the entity's energies in a more trusting manner than she'd felt before when she had tried to gain access to them.

...

The next morning, Kylie woke back up in a cold sweat, with Giselle still holding her close, the young siren snoring softly against Kylie's chest as she nuzzled against it. Tidecaller was hovering near Giselle, as if watching over her to keep her safe, and staring curiously, and worriedly at Kylie. "What is wrong?" Tidecaller asked curiously, looking down at Kylie with concern clear on his face.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Hearing the heartbeat....that steady pulse... warm... soft.... She was waking... she was sleeping.... Voices... that pulse again.... Kylie slowly came around without breaking the surface of her unconsciousness... calmly taking it all in, listening hard, listening close.... Listening. She heard the plea.... But she didn't understand the threat... portals... tendrils... poisoning her island... her future... the alraune... Hope....... Kylie's heart suddenly seizing seeing Hope in her mind. But Hope was safe... The others were not.

She came out of the dream in a cold sweat and the watersnake was trying to speak to her. Shaking Giselle, she looked back to Tidecaller and continuing to wake up Giselle. No Time! None! Get the priestesses, get the rangers, hazel, amara! Get to the Alraune Village! She said, still in her gear as she stepped away, drew her chain and immediately vanished, porting to the ground and blasting across the distance as fast as she could possible move.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Tidecaller saw Kylie's fright as she frantically tried to wake Giselle, who yawned and woke quickly from the shaking. "W-What's going on?" Giselle asked, stretching as she heard Kylie's frantic words, before jumping up and diving off the tower, Tidecaller looking a bit worried now himself, as Giselle brought the water out of the jar with her, making a watery slide as she surfed it along towards the temple as fast as possible.

As she landed on the ground, Kylie saw Mara on the porch, exercising, but when she heard Kylie's voice speaking to Giselle, she'd stopped and looked up with concern, as she watched Giselle heading to the temple. "Kylie... what's going on?" Mara called out, already reaching inside of the door to grab her sword.

"GET THE OTHERS TO THE ALRAUNE VILLAGE!" Giselle cried out to Mara as she sped past the house, where Mara turned to go back inside in a hurry, calling out to everyone to get their asses up and in gear.

"KYLIE... I'LL GET HIRO AND AS MANY OF HIS GUARDS HE CAN SPARE, WE'LL MEET YOU THERE," Mara called from the porch again, as some of the others sprinted out of the house a few moments later, in full gear.

As Kylie sped along to the alraune village, she did see smoke rising in the distance, and as she neared it, screaming... frantic frightened screaming. The sounds of fighting could soon be heard, as she approached the alraune village, and coming through the trees after a couple of more minutes, when she was within sight of the place, she saw a variety of creatures, attacking the village. There were demons of various kinds, black alraune, strange fungal creatures that she'd never seen before, battling it out against all of the alraune, save the pink ones, who were shielding the little alraune with their own bodies if necessary in some cases, willingly throwing themselves in front of fireballs and other kinds of attacks meant to harm them.

Kylie could see Amara was there already, standing toe to toe against 3 Hezrou demons, with 2 other Hezrous lying dead on the ground at her feet. Amara was bleeding from multiple wounds, her left wing was tattered and bloody, but she was standing her ground. Kylie had heard of Hezrous before, from Cosimo, and knew that they were powerful demons, but not unbeatable. As she looked closer at the carnage around her, Kylie saw every one of the demons had the same symbol branded into their hide, either on their arms, shoulders, or chests, the symbol she'd seen in her dream, of the axe in the bloody tree split in half.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Kylie was blind to everything else around her as she homed in on the village and moved onwards like a blur, frantic even while a small part of her hoped it was metaphor in her dream.

When she heard the screaming she knew it was literal. The winds howled around her, groaning through the trees, while Kylie's face darkened, and she stopped charging straight forward and instead blurred visibly to the right as she came closer. Her first sight was Demons. Nor where they the subtle or prideful kind.... The Assassin failed to notice or care. Until she spotted Amara and immediately surged forward, snatching up Amara and teleporting back into the trees as a dark outline in a dark jungle, a shadow moving with hideous speed while the wind creaked and twisted.

Amara found herself facing up into the stars, held onto by Kylie, the woman radiating an impressively frigid black aura, a cloud forming behind her as she instantly froze the moisture in the air as she passed higher up in the sky. They teleported as Kylie turned her gaze, and Amara was set on a tree branch, Kylie using her chain to carry the continuous momentum and channel it into more speed with a swing back into the village proper, completely silent as she blazed towards the group, the original trio hounding Amara. The chain snapped tight, and the blade swung back on it's pivot, before Kylie blitzed forward between a pair, the chain rushing ahead of her left and then right so quickly that the assassin's entire body twisted into a tight roll, while the wired barb used for travel in her gauntlet was cocked in her motion towards one of the black Alraune. A tight cold radiating black missile that landed with a punch carrying all the force of her motion, along with the spring lunching the barb at it's end into the Alraune, the chain howling around the wire, the blade riding it backwards straight towards Kylie and through the Alraune as the assassin Spun violently, the motion cutting the wire in her gauntlet.

Only then did she stop moving, standing there quietly and gazing around while the ground around her feet immediately flash froze, nearby tree roots creaking and snapping. She didn't say anything, her eyes had gone completely black, shining like glass as she looked around. She Vanished again, not reacting to anything near her, as she suddenly reappeared in front of the children, and the pinks, chain scythe whistling like an ill wind. Not one of you leaves My Island Alive. Kalt breathed out slowly. A whisper that telepathically rolled down the spines of every creature and person present.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Amara yelped as Kylie snatched her up, black blood dripping from her blade, and her own red blood dripping from her wounds quite profusely. By the time Kylie had the angel sitting on the tree limb, she saw Amara had been practically dead on her feet, and was panting heavily, as she leaned back against the tree trunk. "Y-You have to stop them. D-Don't know whose demons those are. But whoever it is... he... or she... i-is incredibly strong. Go... I... I need to heal myself," Amara panted softly to Kylie, urging her to go with a push. "Save as many as you can, Kylie... they were completely unprepared for this, as was I," she added, closing her eyes as she sat there, focusing her energies to perform her healing spells on herself, her wounds sealing slowly.

Moving back into the village, Kylie saw another pink alraune go down, as one of the Hezrous turned to a group of the little alraune children, who started to scatter, before a couple of other pink ones rounded them up and ran, carrying them while the other pink alraune had jumped in front of it, and slammed a large arm into her, the sounds of bones breaking as she was thrown into a nearby tree, and fell unconscious to the ground.

Darting in, Kylie's blade sliced right through the throat of one of the Hezrous, where it went down before it, or the other two could react. The other two turned to face her, now prepared to stand their ground against their new foe. The red alraune were fighting the fungal creatures and other demons, as well as the black alraune, but they were outnumbered, and outgunned when it came to firepower, but the blue alraune were able to augment their fighting capabilities with their magics, and the blue alraune were mostly hounding the black alraune that were attacking, but a couple of little alraune were grabbed by one black alraune, and she was using them as shields against one of the blue ones who was trying to hurl a fireball at her, herself.

Ayane was nowhere to be seen at the moment herself, but Kylie could only suspect that she was nearby, fighting as well. The two Hezrous left came at Kylie now, both swinging their large arms at her, and one managing to hit, but only lightly, but hard enough to leave a mark. But Kylie was on the offensive again, twirling around as she growled at them, slicing her blade into one of them and wounding it quite deeply, but not enough to take it down.

"Another one that wishes to die. Fine woman, you get to die too with that angel," the unwounded demon said, cracking its knuckles.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Kylie tilted her head as the demon spoke to her, the second felled without so much as a sound, and her own light wound completely ignored. Who are you calling Woman? Kalt asked, her heading tilting to the right unnaturally, while her chain hissed and rolled along the ground like a snake as her arm moved slowly.

Her eyes were dashing around, counting survivors, tracking motions and tactics. Magic amplification from the blacks, demons as frontliners and backliners. Beasts of all sorts.

A black made off with some of the youngsters, using them as shields while the Herz cracked his knuckles, Kalt standing there unmoving, completely ignoring him before her form flickered and she was gone, standing in the path of the black alraune, hands raised against her chest and slightly up in a cross, before she brought both hidden blades down on the alraune's shoulders and through her back, blue flames boiling out of the wounds as she inflicted as much pain as was possible, violently causing a wound that would lead to a paralyzed, slow, end as the alraune drowned in her own blood unable to move, the flames staying inside the wounds, burning slowly, searing, biting, insuring the wounds would never heal by any means.

I'm not a woman. I'm a monster. A monster. A monster. A monster. That's what I am. Die? Die? Me? No. Die. Die. DIE. DIE! DIE DIE! Kylie started, her eyes finding the herz again, speaking to him, ice sheeting the ground and misting the air around her. Her voice was autonomous, quiet, lethal, until it built slowly as the rage that boiled through her as her friends were cut down around her reached it's peak and Kalt broke every chain. Not a single part of Kylie had any objection as every secret place in her heart yearned now for slaughter above all things. Kill, Punish, Slay, Crush, Decimate, Obliterate. These were the only words left in Kylie's mind as she shrieked the end of her words and charged, blazing around the Herz in a barrage of flashing blue fiery teleports, ice constantly forming and shattering on her armor causing a snow to follow her wherever she moved as slashes and kicks in a twisted tornado of violence that was Kylie became a followup barrage of blades across every inch of the demons body, every joint, every artery, every vulnerable place became a target for blades long and short, and a chain snapping around as dangerous as the sickle on it's end as she began to reduce the demon to nothing but broken pulp before proceeding into the rest of the battle like a dervish.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Seeing Kylie's maneuver in front of the black alraune holding the poor little ones, the blue that had been trying to fight the black one attacked, hurling her fireball at the black one and engulfing her in flames as she wove another spell around to catch the little alraune with a mage hand as they fell from the black's grasp.

Once the black alraune was down, Kylie was back at the remaining 2 hezrous, and after she spoke, and then, she struck. The already wounded hezrou was struck again by Kylie's onslaught, and went down in short order, her twirling attacks tearing the already wounded one limb from limb, and leaving him a mass of pieces. The last remaining hezrou narrows its eyes and came at Kylie, swinging its large arms around to try and catch her, but she teleported just out in time to avoid his attack, and around behind him to attack.

He was obviously not going to beat Kylie one on one, but he did get one good shot in, knocking Kylie back and away. As his attack did knock Kylie back, Kylie, before she could go back in at him, saw an arrow whizz in and strike him right in the throat, and she saw this arrow was huge, not quite as huge as her dragon killer ones, but still very large, and made of pure steel, with the arrowhead being one of her design. Looking back, she saw Ilyana, and the other priestesses all coming in, along with her rangers, and Hiro as well, all of them pouring through the treeline, altogether nearly 60 people coming to the aid of the alraune. Giselle surged through on her watery surf, and slammed into 2 black alraune, screaming at them with a high pitched voice that quickly made Kylie see their blackish green blood trickling out of their ears, before they fell unconscious to the ground.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Rendering the wounded demon into nothing more then a pile of bloody scraps, she turned immediately on the others. Kylie was too quick for the demon to simply grab or strike as she teleported without a seconds hesitation and came in from behind. The Herz got lucky and turned, knocking her back before an arrow rammed into it's throat from behind.

Kylie immediately followed it up by slamming a gauntlet'd fist into the wound and ripping the creature's head off, before her rangers, the guard, the priestesses rushed into the battle.

She looked around impartially, while Giselle rode a wave in and screamed two black alraune into unconsciousness, Kylie raising a hand before flames erupted across their bodies, venting their life energies into the air while their bodies froze and then shattered. The unconscious pair unable to mount any kind of defense to stop her from a raw exertion of absolute Hatred.

She remembered Hope in her pool... How close to death she had been. To be rescued and still...

Kylie blinked and then screamed, energy blazing around her as she launched herself into the fray, slashing, and in some cases, ripping limb from limb every enemy she could find one after another, always coming in from a new direction, a new shadow, a new moment of chaos in the battle while her girls stood by their training and formed a frontline and backline, the talented archers keeping to the trees while Asha and Sheena and their partners struck and then retreated again and again as a skirmishing line to keep their partners safe.
