Heading down the new path, Kylie did find a Roper not too far in, but it was dormant, and asleep, not seeming to be planning anything dirty with her. Inching her way past it, Kylie kept going and found herself nearing water from the sounds of it, meaning that her miners had uncovered an underground river, or stream at some point.

Mumbling happily as she skirted the Roper, she heard water, and Smelled it not too soon after. 2 things. one, Water meant a good chance to clean up, including any scents she was leaving, as well as, well, all the wormgizz. And a good place to rest out the pregnancy. The Other thing it meant was likely Life. Living things congregated around water sources so, time to be more careful then usual, though... she couldn't drown so that was one thing she didn't need to worry about.

Licking the back of her ball in thought for a moment, she started to track down the water specifically, wondering what she had found, and how far it carried. Underground rivers were usually fast, and far reaching, it would lead all the way to the ocean downstream, and back up to the mountains upstream. It'd be interesting certainly.

It didn't take long for Kylie to find the small river rushing along at a brisk, but not overly fast, pace. She saw a few underground animal like creatures, moles, and the like, drinking at the thing, but other than that she saw nothing too big or menacing. The water, as expected from being underground, was cool, and the stream stretched on for quite a ways to her left and right, the latter being the direction it was going. Kylie could also see plenty of fish in it as well swimming around, a few rather large ones, but nothing she couldn't handle easily enough, even with her bondage gear on and whatnot.

Slipping into the stream, Kylie just shooed everything away from her by crackling like an electric eel, moving upstream like some kind of strange horny salmon woman, even managing to squeak like a dolphin once as she leapt into the air all majestic and shit, before looking for something fun to play with, and more things to see upstream.

Most of the fish that came near sped away at high speed when she zapped into the water, looking frightened as all hell. Moving upstream from where she was, bouncing out of the water like she did, Kylie saw a small underwater cavern that seemed to lead deeper down, and there was faint glowing blue fauna within to light her way easily if she wished to go down it. As she was pondering which way to go, Kylie would see a shape that looked like a tail fin swimming down that smaller tunnel too.

Down it was, no reason not to and she saw something interesting. Most interesting was actually the fauna. But it was more a question now of her wanting to see everything this cave system had to offer, to go places no one had gone yet.

As Kylie swam down into the newfound tunnel, she saw it was getting slightly tighter as she went, but at some points it opened back up. The fauna on the walls looked like large mushrooms of a sort, and were glowing blue, and she found if she touched any of them, that they glowed brighter for a few moments, as if reacting to her touch. They didn't harm her or anything, but the sight of them doing that was likely interesting to say the least. After moving down the tunnel for what felt like a good 5 minutes or so, Kylie saw it open up into a larger cavern again, this one with the same fauna glowing all over the walls, floor, and ceiling of the cavern chamber.

It actually looked quite spectacularly beautiful, as if the entire chamber was glowing like sapphires were all over the walls of it. In the middle of the chamber, was a large rocky formation, that hung from the ceiling and was also to the floor by a couple of large cylindrical shaped rock formations that held it firmly in place, and within that central hub like rock, were many holes. It looked almost like a hive of sorts. The fin she'd spotted before, she saw again, making its way inside of the thing, not as if running from her, but more just going about its business, which seemed to be taking it inside the thing. As Kylie got nearer to the rock formation in the middle of the chamber, she saw more fins swimming in and out of the thing, and upon closer inspection, she saw... that they were mermaids from the looks of it, genuine mermaids.

Continuing to move on, Kylie would teleport at any one point if she got stuck, causing an odd underwear shockwave and a mass of bubbles where she had been before, and a wave where she appeared as the water around her was likewise transplanted.

She was busy studying the flora though, enjoying the mushrooms and tapping them as she went to light her way. Without a need to breathe, underwater was the coolest place ever!

But she kept on moving until it opened into an underwater cavern, and she saw what she'd been following to an odd crystalline structure. She'd have gasped if she had the ability. But she didn't. Mermaids, like... the real kind, not the scylla who were squidpeople.

Seeing them as she got closer, she waved curiously, tilting her head and glowing a little brighter for them, just floating in the water.

Each tap of the mushrooms as she went made the path brighter, allowing Kylie to see better. After Kylie got into the main chamber and saw the mermaids and then waved to them, a couple of them noticed her and swam over to her, waving back. Unable to really speak, thanks to both the gag, and the fact that she was possibly miles beneath the surface, Kylie saw one of them, a female one, come closer, and saw a merman behind the girl coming towards her, looking curiously at Kylie. The mermaid gently tapped her head, and then Kylie's, as if asking something, and tilting her head as she did.

She then looked as if she had an idea, and closed her eyes for a moment, and concentrated. "Hello... c-can you hear, and understand me? I'm not very good at this, unfortunately, not as good as some of the others. Just... surface thoughts, think what you want to say, and focus on those words, and that's all I'll be able to hear," Kylie heard a female voice say in her head, indicating that they were at least capable of communication without words.

"Yay, it worked. I can hear you. I'm Sabetha. And this is my hubby, Markus. And don't worry, I can't read your mind or anything. It's more a... connection than anything, so only when you focus to form words to speak to me with, that's all I'll hear," the mermaid said, throwing her arms in the air in a show of cheering that she'd managed to psychic up a conversation with Kylie.

"What are you doing so far down here? Are you lost?" Sabetha then asked curiously, after a few moments.

Cool! Kylie answered, doing the same thing. Nope! Exploring, Decided I wanted to explore all of these caverns myself, My family reopened the mine above. So i'm looking around, having random sex, apparently laying eggs. she thought, before she felt herself contract in the water, before starting to push out the eggs, curling up to do so, and watching them float with the current back to the surface, enjoying it. "Oh, so you're the owner then? And wow, so many eggs, hmhm. The miners sometimes leave a few gemstones here and there after crossing the water, some fall out of their pockets and whatnot too, so we've been taking them, and watching cautiously. We didn't know what to expect from them, so we haven't really interacted too much with them, aside from a couple of them that are really nice. Those two have been trading us some of the gemstones they find, in exchange for keeping the waterways here clear for them to explore and look for new veins to mine at," Sabetha replied, watching curiously as Kylie began pushing the eggs out, and watching the water carrying the things back out, with a couple of mermaids helping to usher them along in the distance.

"Have you... ever seen a mermaid before? Or been this close to one, if you have?" Sabetha asked after the last egg was out of Kylie, swimming up closer and gently grabbing Kylie's butt with one hand, not seeming shy in the least.
