Ugh, I hate tests. Alright, let's see. You have a 47 base. I assume you mean +10 "when unarmed" instead of "with unarmed" so that bumps it up to a 57.
Then Lesser Luck Manipulation roll of 14-6 = 8 so that brings it to 65. Since that spell has a specific effect, I'm guessing it isn't multiplied.
Then Force Armor grants +10 ( 30/6 =5 *2(spell level) which brings Dodge all the way to 75 (47 Base + 10 Talent + 8 LLM + 10 FA)

Kaena is about to take a step forward when she sees that the entire floor is covered in panels. Or maybe they are plates. There is no way to be sure at the moment. She sees that this is a hallway, not a room, and leads into another room farther down. Unless she manages to jump a rather long hallway, she is going to have to step on the floor on one of the plates.

"Well.... That's inconvenient," Kaena mutters as she realizes the true nature of the floor, all of it being made of tiles that looked as if they could depress. This was going to be difficult. "Well.... I'm not getting any younger here," she sighed bracingly, and after another moment she hesitantly stepped forward and placed her foot on the first tile, trying to see what would happen. She had a suspicion that it wouldn't be consistent, but some knowledge was better than no knowledge, and given its title as "for the fastest" she suspected that she would need to rush as quickly as she could.

Correct on Luck Manipulation. Roll on that every round in which it matters. I meant "with unarmed" as in "with unarmed fighter" but it's the same thing in effect.

A roll of 3 for lesser luck manipulation, turning the bonus into a penalty.
64 (47 Base + 10 Talent - 3 LLM + 10 FA)

Unfortunately, as sometimes happens when dealing with the forces of luck, Kaena feels her luck turning just as she begins to dash through the hallway. As soon as she puts her weight on the first panel, it sinks into the ground a little and the sound of many gears comes from the walls.

As the panels begin to close, the first set just clips her, dealing 6 damage. She manages to dodge the next two but the last one, like the first, manages to just hit her, this time dealing 10 damage. They both manage to hurt her legs, giving her two stacks of Weakened.

Darts fly out from the holes in the walls. Due to her spells and general agility, she manages to dodge them all with ease, even with the damage to her legs.

Unfortunately, just as she managed to get to the end, a tentacle shot out of the slimy hole she was unable to identify and grabbed her arm. The suction cups on the side of the tentacle latched on to her skin and the creature began to pull her upwards, lifting her off the ground as more tentacles came out of the hole.

Her spell chose the exact worst time to betray, it seemed, and Kaena cursed inwardly even as she stepped forward and felt the plate falling and realized that one of the walls was getting closer. She lunged forward, but landed poorly and hurt her leg, and the very next plate she landed on did it again. Two more, and on her injured leg the last one hurt her again, leaving her stumbling and barely able to weave through a hail of darts shooting out from the walls. She was almost through the room and into the next one when a tentacle shot out and grabbed her wrist, dragging her back and then suddenly lifting her off of her feet.

"Shit!" she said aloud, tensing her arm to keep it from being dislocated as all of her weight was put on it. More tentacles were on their way, and if she didn't get free of the hold she was in quickly and get away she'd be in a lot of trouble. That in mind, she dragged herself up by her arm while lashing at it with her other hand's nails, trying to get the suction cups to release so that she could escape.

You forgot to update Kaena's HP. Things that cause status effects should always cause a Resistance check to save against it or cause damage to Resistance or some other stat towards getting it. Also, it's more a personal policy thing but I usually like to leave the mechanics all in spoilers and play out how they affect the character abstractly in the roleplaying. However you wanna do the fluff is fine though.

Kaena is only going to try and escape this round.

Kaena, more or less by pure leck, managed to fix her legs with an audible crack as she struggled. Unfortuantely, the creature she was fighting with was more than a match for her, even with her body no longer hobbled by pain. The tentacles barely flexed and soon she found more tentacle holding on to her, grabbing her legs. Soon, she could barely move. Thankfully the tentacles didn't seem interested in squeezing her through the hole. She realized they had other holes in mind.

'Oh fuck me!' Kaena mentally swore as she realized what was about to happening her, shivers of terror running through her briefly. Despite her squirming, the adventurer's legs were wrapped in more tentacles, and as they and her arms were much more thoroughly bound she felt her lower limbs being pulled apart. The farther she let this progress, the more difficult it would be for her to escape, and she knew that if she let them get much farther she might even start not wanting to get free. Memories of the grabbers, the lesser alien spawn who had once captured her flitted through her thoughts, and a different sort of shiver went through Kaena as her panties began to grow slightly damp at the recollections.

Heh, it's not super important right now, but you forgot that she was in a submission hold in the status spoiler. What does matter is that you seem to have missed that Kaena has escape artist, which gives her a bonus to get out of grapples, holds, and bindings. I miss stuff like that sometimes when people don't put it in their bottom of the post rules spoilers too though, and even with it the dice would have lost it for her so it's no biggy. It might save her now, but we shall see.

Feel free to roll it up until she escapes fully or until she gets penetrated or made to orgasm from foreplay, whichever the tentacles end up doing. Kaena will be resisting pleasure, lets see if you can look up what that means.

While her thoughts were beginning to wander, Kaena's training took hold. She managed to slip the hold of several of the tentacles, causing the hold to become extremely loose. In fact, at one point, she broke free and the tentacles had to speed down to grab her before she could get to the floor. One more good move and Kaena would find herself free. And it manages to happen. Although the tentacles manage to get a good hold on her once again, she manages to slither completely out of the hold. Once she was a few feet away, Kaena realized that to get to the ground, the tentacles had stretched almost their full length. It took only a moment to get out of range. The writhing limbs reached for her but the main body seemed disinclined to leave its hole. After lashing around in anger, the tentacles withdrew and the hallway resumed its previous appearance.

Now that that was settled, Kaena found herself at a corner. Turning the corner, she saw a sterotypical treasure chest. Wooden, with gilded framing. A single lock built into the chest. It looked like a dead end but Kaena detected a lever that was hidden behind the chest. She couldn't see any traps that the lever might trigger.

Squirming with all her might, Kaena struggled with all her might for several moments before she finally got herself free of their grip. Of course, at that point Kaena bolted away immediately, and after getting out of the room entirely she found herself.... At a dead end. Well... Hopefully she could get back through that room better now that she had an idea of what sort of hazards to expect. For now though.... A treasure chest? It had to be a trap of some sort, and Kaena started looking over the box before cautiously approaching it and finding the lever behind it.

There was no telling what it did, or what might be in the chest, but after a moment's consideration she opted to search the chest thoroughly without opening it before deciding what to do with the lever. Checking the lock, the crack form by its opening, and finally doing a slow circle around it before settling beside the lever. With a shrug, she decided to try and see if she could pick the lock of the chest before testing the lever, and only if that proved impossible would she test the apparatus.

Amazingly, there didn't seem to be any traps set and the chest wasn't even locked! Opening it, she found a belt. On the inside of the belt, there were the words "To the Fastest" The lever caused part of the wall to slide open. There were stairs leading upward.


Question: Can I make magic items that have different effects than the ones listed on the table? This particular one increases her speed by 10. It can be further boosted to 20 by paying 5 EP.

Opening the chest, Kaena found a belt, an inscription on it matching the test she'd had to take to acquire it. The thing was obviously enchanted, and after a few moments worth of examination she came to understand its effects. Grinning, she slipped the artifact on, figuring she could make a pretty penny off of it later but that she could use it for its power for now.

The lever opened up a passageway behind her, and after considering things for a moment she decided to go up the convenient stairs. She maintained her cautious approach, however, checking every place she intended to step before making a move in case the stairs should be trapped.

You can, but there are rules for both of those things. Just make a magic item with a spell that buffs Speed with a Mind stat that gets you +10 Speed. That makes it easier to answer questions like "Can it be dispelled, does it cost upkeep, how much of a person's turn does it take up," and so on. The level 3 Wind buff almost accomplishes +20 Speed, it equals out to +18 at 30 Mind on the item including the bonus from Focus that items always get.

Upstairs, she found something odd. She a depression in the ground full of water and several statues of young men, all surronding the pool. There were also two dippers in the water, one made of tin, the other glorious gold, studded with gems. Then she saw movement out of the corner of her eye. She turned and after watching carefully, she realized one of the statues sitting on the ground was still moving. It looked upset and was rubbing its hand on its face, making a somewhat grating sound. She could see two exits from this place. One was a closed wooden door. The other was a tunnel behind a few of the statues. You notice a sign above the wooden door. "For the humblest"

Kaena examined the statues and the basin for a moment before realizing that one of them was moving, immediately took a step back and readied in case it turned out to be hostile. It didn't do anything overtly threatening though, nor did it even seem to notice her, and after a moment she spoke to it; "Is something wrong?" She glanced at the sign and the two ladles, wondering if they were somehow related while pondering snatching the jewel studded one.

The statue raised its head. He would have looked very handsome except for the stone. "Another person? That's a surprise. I haven't seen anyone for... let's see." He looked to the back of the cave which had various marks. "From what I can tell, I haven't seen anyone in three years. Of course, it's hard to tell in a place where you can't tell whether it is day or night but I've got a sort of internal clock. At least, I used to."

He sighed and looked at the water. "I was a treasure hunter. And I ended up in this room. I don't remember how anymore, the maze seems to twist and turn as you move through it.. Everytime I've attempted to leave this place, I've wound up coming back here, even if it seems impossible. I've left marks but I never see them again. Anyway, I ended up here and was put through one of those ridiculous tests. As you can see, I chose wrong. That gold dipper was just so enticing... the only reason I'm not like the rest of these fellows is because I had potion. As I changed, I drank it. The curse was stronger, though. I suspect the maze didn't like that I fought back and makes sure I live here forever.." He seemed glad to have someone to talk to.

Kaena jumped as the statue spoke to her, her tail puffing up and swishing back and forth, but she quickly calmed and looked at the talking statue curiously. "Oh.... Well, glad I didn't go for it then... It's really that simple?" she said, wondering if there was some other trick to this particular puzzle. Reaching down gingerly, she retrieved the simpler dipper and wondered what she was supposed to do with it next. "Did you... Ever figure out what you were supposed to do?" she asked, glancing up at the statue, "and have you found out anything else about your... Condition?" While she wasn't exactly the heroic sort, she would prefer to help the poor fellow if she could, though her lack of real magical education left her without many options for actually lifting his curse that easily came to mind.

"You're supposed to scoop up that water there. You only get one try, though. Ever since I failed, the dippers might as well have been sieves for all the good it did me. Apparently, the water can be used to bring life to the lifeless. The man who dropped the note was attempting to retrieve it to bring a desert back to life. But now look at you!" He smacked one of the statues in sudden anger. "Just as dead as your desert!" He sat back down with a puff. He looked at her and said "Well, you could always let me follow you. If you haven't ticked off the maze, maybe I could use that to get me out of here. After that, I think I'll be able to find the way out."

"Well alright then," Kaena said, doing as the statue had explained and scooping up some of the water with the simpler of the two ladles. "Maybe I can use it on you? Or on one of them?" she asked, holding up the water. "You can follow me... If you want," she said, her tail swishing again. "I give no promises on how well you'll be able to keep up through all the traps in this place though!"

"You could. I'm sure there's something else to use it on, though. That stuff is supposed to pack a punch. I know some guys on the outside who can handle something like semi-petrification. Hopefully they can break the curse." He moved some of the statues out of the way. Either he was incredibly strong or the curse had increased his strength. "I blocked this way because some wolf-things kept trying to bite me whenever I went there. It never worked but sometimes I would get distracted and find one of the damn things gnawing on me. I came through that door but when I came through, there was some kind of trap that sealed the path. Maybe it's gone now. I'll follow you either way."

Kaena glanced at the dipper full of water, and then at the statue with a quirked eyebrow. "It's not like I can just walk around with this, it'll spill.... But I guess I could make use of someone who's always... Rock hard~" she rolled her eyes at her own joke and pulled out her canteen, drinking heartily from it before pouring the rest of her normal water out. She filled the canteen with as much of the supposedly magic water as she could and then glanced at the dipper, "I guess I'll just take this too... Alright, lets go. Hopefully we won't run into anything look to gnaw on us."
