A sequel to this one https://ulmf.org/threads/mille-feui...kushon-blazingangel-mistletear-rj171858.8105/

Now the sister is also playable in a partner system (like Excelchiffon)!

Same system and all, with same control (Z for jump, X for attack and C for special), but new galleries! (some enemies/animation are reused though).

Honestly if you've played any of the Milefueille games, the system are basically the same.

So the story is basically, after the event of Mistletear 1, the sisters have now went to have peaceful lives, when suddenly there's another danger signal.

The mob from the first game were rampaging again, and the lil sis somehow couldn't control them, so now they must transform and fight again!

The game is out on the usual cat site, size is around 4.14 GB.

My short review:

So short review, spoiler included:

I forgot how much I love Mistletear's design.

I always hate the mission where there's another bar on your head, it tend to drain so fast that makes the stage not enjoyable, not to mention this time you need to check each room first :/

Some of the animation was reused (the slime and 1st bost grab attack was reused from EC, things like that), but it's fine... I think?

(my favorite grab animation was the Eel boss btw, a grappler move + Electric shock is just so nice).

Also, I got a horrible frame drop during the 2nd fight of the clown boss (where the brat appeared again after the clown was defeated, idk why.

I hate the bike action portion with passion.

I wish that we will go as a duo instead of them joining together, altho the armor looks nice.

The AI seems to be more cheap shot in here than BBEC, like, they tend to stay juuust outside of your range before swooping in (somehow they're invulnerable doing this) and getting a hit on you. I hate that.

I've alr unlocked all the animation (not the CG though), which one is the save file?

I got this error on some animated scene too, I assume it was bug from this version. Have you tried running in JP compability?
I am running on jp. It very odd this is happening. Used my windows 7 virtual machine and it works perfectly. Hopefully someone knows how to fix it or hoping a update addresses it.

I am getting this error. Cant even play it.View attachment 52585

I don't remember if I've got the same error, but I only found one error and three glitches so far.

Error 1 : In the mansion when you played the original heroine ( Akira, was her name was it? The purple hair girl ) and you got defeated as a non-V.
Note : There wasn't any special event or CG for this, so not worth all the effort to go pass that. I've tried to get the Life points zero before and after Kaede school arc, then during this mansion event, even if Akira got defeated, you will proceed as Kaede regardless, without any different content ( for now, maybe? )

The glitch may not be exactly as is, since I don't really invest all the time and energy to learn nor remember it, so it might just be my own mistakes in analysis, but here goes:
Glitch 1 : One time the enemy walk pass through the wall during Kaede school arc, after she got defeated inside one of the classroom. The enemy then cannot be attacked or attacks, making game progression impossible ( since you'd need to kill all enemies inside before the exit appear )
Glitch 2 : During the last Fortress battle, If the character got defeated while entering a Next-Door room, that room become unable to enter after revival.
Glitch 3 : Once you had unlock button Delete to reduce your HP to 1, and played single character instead of both, if you press the button right after revival, swapping character with the space button caused that character to freeze. You can only play the first character, while the other one will continue to freeze until any form of map-movement occurred.

they just responded to my support email. Sent me a patch and told me to hold M when the game start Ill see if this works when I get back home

edit - it works now.

Mission guide (done on base v1.00)

1. Successfully perform a 20-hit combo.
2. Successfully perform a 40-hit combo.
3. Successfully perform a 60-hit combo (With Mistletear line up 10+ enemies and then use the rush super or the beam super, easier if a golem is in the mix)
4. Defeat at least 1000 clone soldiers.
5. Clear stage 1 without any damage to the suit (Skill check, or players can turn on the option for indestructible suits to get this easily)
6. Clear Mistletear stage 2 saving all of the raped women (there's three on the starting level all the way to the right, then another two after taking the first escalator up from the start and then fighting across the mall)
7. Clear Museleon stage 2 within 240s (not counting time spent on VN segments). Easy enough, enter the classrooms and defeat the enhanced clone blocking the way up, then head straight for the stairs. Don't waste time fighting in the corridors.
8. Defeat at least six enemies with traps or hand grenades in stage 3. Should be done automatically even on default difficulty.
9. Clear stage 4 without climaxing or losing. The most irritating mission, take it slow and stand still to let the bar recover. Don't go for big combos, simple stuff like two hits and a throw on a grapple is more than enough on default difficulty. For the skill-challenged, enable 10x attack power and breeze through the stage.
10. Destroy 5 bikes in stage 5.
11. Clear stage 6 without claiming any items. Skill check, kill the item-bearing gunmen from range and then avoid the item that drops afterwards. Alternatively, simply disable items entirely and then clear the stage (and maybe lose a life or 2, but it's irrelevant for this mission)
12. Clear stage 7, making sure to use Mistletear's piledriver special on the yellow claw-wielding enhanced clones. There's enough of them in default difficulty that players can easily do this first time round.
13. Save your companion when they're being felt up/raped by enemies when downed three times.
14. Save your companion when they've run out of HP three times. Easily done by enabling the self-damage option with the DEL key and then deliberately getting hit. Hold the attack button when next to the downed companion and 50% of current health is transferred to the downed companion allowing her to rejoin the fight.
15. Finish the game with the true end (i.e. don't finish the game on route A or B)
16. Reach the true end without being raped i.e. don't lose a life.
17. Unlock the entire gallery. Do yourself a favour and enable the option which allows purchasing of gallery scenes with earned points. Then make a save before fighting the final boss and farm her.

Reward for completing the missions is a slightly different celebratory CG and a short non-H dialogue compared to the first game.

Buying the scenes is not enough to unlock the entire gallery. Players need to beat the game on routes A and B to unlock the remaining "victory" CGs. Easiest way is to unlock stage select+ and then play through both routes, the defeat CGs on these routes can be bought as per normal from the gallery page.

Patch the game to v1.05 to view the defeat scenes to mobs during chapter 4 (the arousal gauge) since v1.00 will crash the game when they're viewed in the gallery.

Boss guide: (For those too lazy to learn their movesets in vs. mode)

Mission 1 Improved Guile-orc: His spinning lariat move makes him invincible, so let him pass and then execute a big move after his fourth swing. He'll try to shoot with a laser pistol at range, which is easily avoidable by rolling up or down. If you grapple him, he'll counter and grab the player instead forcing a key mash to escape or help from the AI companion. All bosses like the orc can block attacks (taking block tick damage) and are really only vulnerable after they've in turn executed their own special moves leaving them vulnerable for a very short period of time.

Mission 2 Blade Arachne: Also blocks attacks, and usually jumps to shoot webs which constrict players (mash the arrow keys to escape) before diving down to strike. Same tactics as the orc, although Museleon's anti-air uppercut does quite well at hitting her out from the air if players are fast enough.

Mission 3 Giant slime: If you've enabled Mistletear's invincibility during her rush super, that takes care of this boss once it's lined up and it's open to attack. The beam supers work as well if the slime is far away and is lined up. Unlike the other two bosses, it doesn't really block and relies on super armour for stun immunity, so wailing on it with multi-hit combos from up-close can work. Assuming normal difficulty, going in hard and fast before it gets the chance to unlease its long range moves and deploy slimes to run interference simplifies the fight.

Mission 4 3x Doctor Anguillant: The lizard bosses rely a lot on their special moves which grant invincible frames; they frequently use them to counter player attempts to hit them in the open. They're not great from range so Museleon has an easier time whittling down from a distance, while Mistletear can rely on the rush super or beam special if close range attacks are repeatedly countered. They have a grapple as well, so waiting for them to whiff their special moves and then moving in for the kill works for those who don't want to cheese them. The climax meter is still in effect, and it will be in the same position the player was in when they first entered the boss room with that specific character. Since the mission is getting to the room without climaxing, players can afford to go out with the big moves provided the bosses aren't in a position to capitalize when the girls inevitably start masturbating.

Mission 5 Crazy Clown: Two parts to this boss. The first is the main body and the two detachable arms which will attack as separate entities. Main body has a habit of teleporting out of range if players try to initiate melee combat in the open, so try to close the distance or use Museleon to soften him up. After enough damage is inflicted, players lose almost all MP and the use of Museleon and have to finish the job with Mistletear. This is surprisingly hard since the game slows down to a treacle even on the latest version and players have to save Museleon from losing all HP while she's defenceless. The saving grace is the boss is more open to attacks without jab startups. For the final head, use the somersault kick to finish it quickly when in range.

Mission 6 Fighter bomber: Unlike the other stages, the bike mechanic means this boss is most likely lethal when first encountered but gets much easier once players get used to how the bike works. Unlike the mob enemies where ram and jump attacks are preferred, it's much easier to stay back and shoot the boss at the cost of MP. Since it has such a low HP bar on default difficulty compared to every other boss in the game, how long it takes players to win is a test of their evasion skills. There's no point rushing the boss up close because its attacks hurt and there's almost no opening to strike between attacks, so shooting it and waiting for MP to recharge is the safest and most reliable way to win. There are only two attacks: energy orbs and homing missiles. The latter only deploy after enough of the boss's HP bar has been depleted. Use lateral movement, jumps and circular positioning to avoid the orbs; for the missiles the homing can be disrupted with the lateral teleports and the occasional well-timed jump; worst case simply shoot the missiles down if they're lined up with the boss. The only difficulty is finding the gaps to avoid the attacks as they increase in intensity. Use the boss shadow as a guide on where to line up for jumping laser shots.

Mission 7 Professor Neo: Has the telegraphed leap attack, tentacles from medium range and the occasional beam attack from range. If he unleashes tentacles he's open to counter attacks and big combos, otherwise he'll block everything since his leap attack has no downtime to exploit. On v1.00 it's possible to rack up 70+ combo hits on his blocking state and racking up the tick damage, and then moving away from his counter-attacks with a timed sliding dash attack. Usual cheese with the beam attack is also possible, but best to save the MP bar for the next boss. There is a medikit and MP orb on the edges of the arena for those who are struggling.

Mission 7 Rizelasphere: Remember taking on Museleon in the first game? She's a powered-up variant. Will teleport to evade tornado slash kicks which don't connect and then do a dash attack to counter. Occasionally fills the arena with lightning which can be avoided by staying away from the strike areas, and she's got the same beam super as our heroines which makes her invincible for its duration. Players can attack the flying spheres (named bits) and destroy them, which reduces her offensive power from the laser attacks. If she runs out of bits, I don't think she can execute the super laser move. Otherwise, try to get an attack going and keep the combo up to finish her off. Rush supers and beam supers also work if players get behind her while she's doing the super laser move and then executing immediately after she finishes.

Hypnotised Mistletear/Museleon: Taking on your companion can be very frustrating or laughably easy. They'll try to counter close-range attacks which don't connect to stun them, and will use their own special moves in return. Play around in vs. mode to get a sense of what they're capable of, it's highly unlikely players will face off against them in the normal game mode unless they deliberately lose in the stages.

would really appreciate it.

Wait, it was a Lizard? I thought Dr. Angirand is an electric eel.

Never heard of an eel which grows arms, although they don't exactly say what the three bosses are really based on. Players can reach their own conclusions. Based on the name, it's probably inspired by the European Eel (Anguilla Anguilla), but that doesn't have electric shocks as an evolutionary feature.

tbf I've never heard of a lizard which grows arms too XD

(other than Curtis Connor)

My assumption from the 1st and 2nd are that they're electric eel, considering the shape of tail and the electric in their attack
