Conjuring her wings and encasing herself in shadow, Pale takes off into the air only for a series of bolts to dart out from the mage that was her target almost immediately. Stinging blows landed, shredding her flesh but not going deep enough to cause any more real harm, but at that point she was again practically overwhelmed by pain. She had barely taken off when the blows landed, and the mage could already be seen preparing another casting, holding his position with his guards gathered around him still much too far away for Pale to aim a strike at him.
Pale: HP = 2/97, PP = 52, EP = 35/51, Status = Critically Wounded, Dark Armor X = 3,

Stealth: 1 + 41 + 9 = 51 vs 55 = 13 + 22 + 20, Pale fails to remain hidden.
The mage casts magic missile at her as she takes off.
Casting: Success.
Attack: Automatic Hit.
Damage: 1 + 4 + 8 + 2 -2 = 13, 13 * 2 = 26, 26 - 10 = 16, 16/4 = 4 damage.
She gets 25 feet into the air with her move. It would take her 3 more rounds to get up 200 feet into the air. She would not live that long.
