"Nah, it'll be fine! We can take him!" Eru declared, though she seemed to be drifting off herself. Soon enough, the wolfgirl was sleeping as well, snuggled up to the human. Nym's dreams were calm, though she could barely recall anything from them. Some kind of a woman? She couldn't remember even as she woke. Glancing around, she'd see she was in the same position that she fell asleep in, her partner wrapped around her in a hug. Light streamed in through the window, suggesting it was morning already. And there was also a polite knocking on the door that seemed to be the thing that woke her. "Nym? Eru?" A strong, clear male voice asked from behind the door. "It's Cedric. It's time to wake up. I have food and clothes for both of you."

Nym would wake up first, and she found herself in the rather enviable position of being half wrapped around by a wolf girl. The redhead spent a few minutes resting with the peaceful atmosphere of the morning, using the time to try to think over her dream, or more specifically, try to remember anything about it other then its minor things.

Then she heard a knock at the door, and Cedric's voice. She'd call back, "We'll be just a minute," then she tried to shake Eru a bit if the wolf girl hadn't woken up from her words, "Come on Eru, its time to wake up. We have a full day of training before us."

Eru slowly woke up, blinking as she sat up on the bed and yawned. "Uh... Morning already?" She asked. Moments later, the door to the room opened, Cedric walking inside. He still wore his armor, oddly enough, and was carrying a large tray with two plates in one hand, a bundle of clothing in another. "You're both awake. Good." He nodded, staring the adventurer in the eye. She'd note that despite the fact that both girl were naked, his gaze was focused strictly on their faces and did not wander any lower no matter what he did. "I've brought you some food and your clothing. A permanent cloak for Eru, since she appears not to like clothes much, and both of your outfits. I'll be waiting for you downstairs." Setting down both packages, he turned around and left the room, closing the door.

The breakfast turned out to be a rather varied assortment of sandwiches, enough for both women to eat well. Once they got around to inspecting the second package, they'd find both of Nym's outfits, now in pristine condition, as well as a cloak that looked like the one they've used yesterday. The clothing came with a small note from Alice, describing their properties. All of them would repair themselves, but she advised against wearing the dress in battle as it was rather delicate and the enchantment could break with enough damage, unlike the more sturdy outfit Nym normally wore. She did include the ability to alter the appearance of the dress in case she ever found herself requiring something more formal, or a specific outfit.

Nym was rather surprised when Cedric just walked in, and would have taken cover if there was any to be had. Still the man seemed to focus solely on their faces, and Nym had to wonder if Alice had him wrapped around her finger that well. Either way when he dropped off the food and clothes, Nym thanked him and he quickly left.

Nym would then start with food, mostly because she was rather hungry after last night, and once the sandwiches were ate she switched over to the clothes, "Self repairing? That sounds really useful. Well lets get these on and not keep Cedric waiting."

With that she would get dressed (and make sure Eru got dressed) and then head downstairs to start a day of training.

Eru was less than happy about being forced to cover herself up, but didn't require too much persuading to put the cloak on. The fact that it was just a cloak instead of a bodysuit like Nym's outfit probably helped. Much like the adventurer, she also quickly ate her part of breakfast before eagerly marching downstairs, looking around to locate Cedric. The inn was once more filled with activity, the various guests eating their first meal of the day before going about their business, whatever that may be. The armored man was not hard to spot, as he was leaning against the wall near the door leading outside with a slightly bored look on his face. Upon noticing the two women, he straightened up, though his facial expression didn't change much. In fact, he didn't look like someone who emoted much at all.

"Good, you're ready." He stated without preamble as Nym and Eru approached. "Follow me." With those words, he left the inn, guiding the two through the streets. Like yesterday, people were out and about, doing their jobs, wandering around, meeting up with friends and overall having a decent time. After a short walk, they came across a large, imposing building with a sign bearing a pair of crossed swords above the door. Cedric walked in without hesitation and so did Eru. Once she got inside, Nym would realize this seemed to be some kind of training center, judging by the number of armed men and equipment meant for sparring and practice. "Ah, Cedric!" A jovial voice called out, a blond-haired dwarf with a great beard approaching the trio. "Visiting Saina again? Good to see you. And who are those lovely ladies?" He inquired, giving both girls a curious look.

Spotting Cedric was rather easy, given his height and his armoured frame, and shortly after they had found him they were already heading outside. Wandering through the crowded streets which still held her attention, atleast till they arrived at their destination. The two crossed swords made her think of a warriors guild, and like the others, she didn't hesitate at the door.

She was partially right, it was more a training facility then a warriors guild. Though it seemed like Cedric was well known around here, then a beard showed up, or more specifically a beard with a dwarf attached. Either way the dwarf seemed curious about them, "I'm Nym and this' Eru. Cedric offered to train us for the day."

The dwarf raised an eyebrow, glancing at Cedric who returned the look with his impassive stare. Chuckling, he introduced himself. "The name's Magni. Nice to meet ya, lass." He spoke with a bit of an accent, though judging by the twinkle in his eyes it was done deliberately. "So the big guy decided to train you... Well, good luck. You might need it." He nodded to himself before turning to the armored man. "The room at the end of that corridor is free. You can have it for a few hours if you want." Cedric merely bowed in response before turning around and walking off, leaving the three of them alone for a brief moment. "Word of advice, once you're done you might want to look for me in this lobby here. I'll prepare something to help you recover after this." The dwarf spoke again, looking serious. "Big guy had a bit of a... Dodgy training method." He chuckled to himself for some reason before walking away.

Following Cedric, Nym and Eru would find themselves in a moderately-sized room with a ring made of mats placed on the floor, clearly designed for sparring. There were various racks placed along the wall, each containing practice weapons of all kinds and sizes. "Pick whichever you like, then come and face me." The man instructed, shedding his armor. Eru simply shrugged and tossed her cloak away, taking advantage of the fact that they were alone, leaving Nym to make her choice. She could simply go with a practice axe that resembled her own, or maybe pick up a different kind of weapon. Either way, she'd have to make her choice and stand alongside the wolfgirl, who was now doing warmup exercises, unless she planned on backing out of the training now.

Well, that was worrying. Nym would wonder if her worry from earlier would be proved correct in the end. Either way though they would be moved off to one of the open rooms, where there seemed to be a large number of practice weapons available.

Nym would go for not her axe, but instead a heavier and larger great axe, mostly just to see how she could handle its weight. Also because the only other weapon she'd want to practice with would be her fists, but she could do that with Eru easily enough. Once she had her axe she would step up beside Eru, though she would not join the wolf girl in fighting nude.

The practice greataxe was heavy and bulky. Nym would have to learn to compensate for it's bigger weight and size fast. Meanwhile, Cedric finished stashing away his armor as well as some of the protection he wore underneath. By the time he faced the two women, he was wearing his pants and a tight shirt, bearing no weapons. Not that he needed any. While earlier the adventurer might have written his size off as visually increased by the armor, without it he might have been even more imposing. With a wide torso and shoulders as well as thick arms, packed tight with muscle, he seemed to be the kind of person that was hewn out of rough stone. Even Eru seemed to pause, her eyes almost comically wide as she took in the man before them. Seriously, he had a build that'd make a god jealous!

"You seem to be ready." Cedric noted, idly warming himself up. "The training is going to be simple. The two of you are going to attack me with everything you've got." He declared as he stood on the opposite end of the mat. "Hold nothing back. I want you to give this your best effort. Do not worry about harming me. I shall also fight using all of..." He paused, staring at the two girls for a moment, thinking. "Enough of my strenght to provide you with a challenge." He decided, causing Eru to bristle slightly... Though she still eyed the way those muscles moved under his skin with trepidation. "Now then... Are you truly prepared?" The warrior asked, adopting a simple, universal stance.

Nym was surprised by just how well built Cedric was under his armour, and he had to worry that she might have wanted to grab the normal axe just so that she could move quick enough to avoid getting beaten black and blue, but at the same time if she trained for the heavier weight then it would make swinging her axe all the easier.

"Well Eru, lets show him what we got," Nym would say, hefting her axe up to an attack stance, and moving forward to go for the first strike, swinging horizontally in the hopes of forcing Cedric to dodge and get him off balance for Eru to hit him.

"R-right!" Eru shouted, following Nym as they charged into battle. Cedric regarded their assault calmly, though his eyes seemed to narrow just a fraction. When the adventurer swung her axe, his reaction came suprisingly late and he was forced to step to the side to avoid the swing, the wolfgirl immediately capitalizing on this as she lunged... And almost immediately flew back, following a loud sound of fist impacting against her ribcage as Cedric quickly spun around with suprising grace and agility, getting out of the way of her attack and simultaneously and instantly building up momentum that was transferred into a powerful strike. And just as Nym processed what happened, turning to focus on her foe, she suddenly found herself staring right into a rapidly approaching fist - from a very short distance. Her only warning would come just as the strike connected with her skull.

"DODGE!"

'Crap!' Nym thought to herself as Cedric dodged away from her swing and at the same time sent Eru flying. Then as the fist started to approach her, and it seemed to all go in slow motion for a moment, 'I totally called it,'

Unfortunately the warning from who, she wasn't entirely sure, came too late to help her much, but she did reflexively try to move away from the punch. Which likely was totally worthless given the fist was practically hitting her before she even was able to move her body, but atleast it was something.

At first, Nym felt nothing. Her entire body seemed weightless, though she'd likely find herself wondering why she was staring at the ceiling and why it was moving. Quite rapidly at that. Then she'd collide with something, the ceiling would slow down before stopping entirely, gravity would reassert itself and she'd realize she was sent flying and caught by Eru who looked like she just got hit by a charging rhino. Then the pain would came. Her skull felt as if it was going to burst and she could definitely feel a lump forming on her forehead. The wolfgirl helped her to her feet, but as the two of them regained balance and turned to face Cedric, it'd dawn on both of them that they were facing no less than several hours of training with this juggernaut and why was he right next to them how was he so goddamn fast. The next thing Nym would see was the man pulling one arm back as he prepared to swing that massive fist of his again, yelling at the top of his lungs.

"DOOOOOOOOOOODGEEEEEEEEEEEE!"

Nym would be sent flying, before crashing into Eru, and being introduced to the mother of all headaches. To bad she knew that headache could only get worse as the training went on.

Then Cedric seemed to almost teleport beside them, and another shout sent her diving out of the way, hoping that just maybe she would manage to get away this time instead of getting flattened by another punch.

Time seemed to slow down as both girls jumped aside. The fist missed them by mere milimeters - Nym could swear that she could actually feel the air being displaced by the blow. As she regained her balance, she could hear Eru move to attack... Only to be interrupted by the increasingly familiar cry of "DOOOOOOODGEEEEEEEE!" and a thunderous smack. Turning around, she came face to face with abs that looked like you could grind meat on them. Looking up, she'd see Cedric's face, still as impassive as ever. Even when he was winding up his arm for what was definitely going to be a VERY painful uppercut.

A few hours later...

Nym collapsed into a panting, exhausted heap alongside Eru. Both of them felt nothing but pain everywhere, from bones through muscles, tendons and skin, ending on even hair and nails. Opposite them, Cedric stood without a single scratch on his body, though he seemed to have worked up a sweat at least. "Training is over. You should now go find Magni and get his help, then rest." He declared, moving to pick up his armor and put it back on before leaving. "I have a few tasks to attend." And with those words, he was gone. He simply walked out of the room, leaving the two of them battered, bruised and beaten up. On the plus side, Nym was now certain that as long as she recovered, she'd be able to take a bigger beating than before.

When it was all over, Nym only had one thought running through her head, and it was one she managed to voice as she lay as a boneless lump beside Eru on the floor, "Oooooooowwww."

Then she finally started to pick herself back up, and then help Eru up if she needed it, "There is no way he is human, he has to be some sort of deamon or something."

Once they were up and moving again, she'd make sure Eru's robe was atleast covering the important bits, before heading out for the lobby in the hopes of getting something to help make up for the horrible horrible pain she was in right now, and from there back to their room in the hopes of getting some good sleep before they went through with their plan tomorrow.

"Agreed." Eru groaned, slowly picking herself up off the ground, the two girls having to support each other to stand up. Even normally trivial tasks, like getting the wolfgirl dressed or walking were proving to be a challenge. Thankfully, they've managed to accomplish both after some trial and error, and we now hobbling together down the corridor. After a few more minutes, they've stumbled into the hall, attracting some minor attention from the people around, many wincing at the sorry sight. "Ah there ye two... Oh boy." Magni began as he approached them, pausing as he took in their state. "You look, ah... Worse than I've expected. I'm guessing he might have been a tad more spirited than usual." The dwarf judged. Sighing, he approached a nearby counter and produced two flasks filled with a red liquid.

"Alright you two, drink up." He opened both and handed them over to Nym and Eru. The wolfgirl didn't even bother identifying the potion, she just shakily raised the bottle to her lips and greedily drank the contents. "This will help you recover from the whole thing in less than a week. Or two." The dwarf explained. "You should probably still go and rest up. Also, Cedric told me to let you two know that your meals have also been paid for, so if you go back to the inn you'll find dinner waiting for you." Should Nym drink the contents of the flask she was given, she'd feel a comfortable warmth slowly spread through her body, easing the pain and returning some of her strenght to her, allowing her to walk on her own again.

"A week or two? Remind me to never agree to any offers of training ever again," Nym said as she drank through the flask. Atleast she did feel somewhat better, and Nym would say, "Well thanks for the recover potions though."

Once they had drank their flasks, Nym would start to lead Eru back to the tavern, hoping she could remember the way home after the intense beating they had gotten today, as all the exercise had gotten her really hungry. Then they would need to get some sleep so they could hopefully move tomorrow when they tried to go to the glade.

"Eh, it's not so bad usually. Cedric is just kinda... Odd that way. Also he's usually a bit more lenient. You must have caught his eye, I think." The dwarf replied. "Also, you're welcome." He waved at them as they left before returning to his work. Thankfully, finding the way back to the inn wasn't a problem and both girls were now able to move on their own, if not very quickly. Walking in, they'd realize it was still relatively early for dinner, few patrons caring to eat their meals yet. As a result, the place was relatively empty compared to the usual activity they've seen. The innkeeper spotted them easily, waving them over. "Good day girls, good day! How are you doing?" He asked, taking in their still fatigued and battered appearance. "Looking at you, I'd almost hazard you've been through a battle... The tall fellow said you'd be practicing. Must have been some rough training." He noted. "Anyway, would you like your meals now or slightly later? Dinnertime's barely started, as you can see."

Nym hadn't predicted that they would be early, mostly because the whole day had felt like an endless hell of pain and shouting. Still though she didn't entirely know what her and Eru could get up to in the state they were, and personally she figured that after they ate, her and the wolf girl were likely going to be out like lights from how much work their bodies had gone through today.

"I don't know if I'd call that training as much as an excuse to beat us up. Either way though, I don't know about Eru, but I think early everything is going to describe our evening so I'll be having dinner now."
