Anthriel was allowed to bathe in the stream that ran through the glade, briefly leaving Dori all on his lonesome, though the dragon seemed about ready to pass out anyway. I'll have breakfast brought to you whenever you wake up."

Returning to Dori, Anthriel found him already fast asleep, and she laid down beside her draconic lover and soon followed him off to dreamland. "Gah!" Dori started awake, and then glared up at Anthriel while nursing his nose for a moment before rising up to his elbows. "Well, that was less fun than what we did before I fell asleep!" he said, smirking softly. "What's with the early rise? I thought we'd get to relax today!"

Despite Dori's complaining, Anthriel spotted a gruff with a sack over his shoulder approaching them as she glanced around. The goat-man, one of the lesser fey, strode up to the nude angel and bowed, "Good morning. I have brought your breakfast!" He promptly set the sack down and laid out a small feast while Dori tried to cover himself, though the gruff took no notice of this and promptly turned back to Anthriel. "Enjoy!" he said brightly, and then gave a bow and turned to depart, leaving Anthriel alone with Dori, who would immediately rise and don his clothes if left to his own devices.

You've had plenty of fun, we all did. Besides, we CAN relax, I just don't want to day to go to waste sleeping when we could be properly enjoying this beautiful place. Anthriel answered, chuckling as Dori nursed his nose.

Seeing the Satyr, Anthriel waved and smiled politely. Thanks for the meal. We'll be certain to treat this place with all the respect it deserves, please tell Sanya not to be a stranger too long, though i'm sure she has other things to see to. she said, tucking into the meal quickly, hungry after last nights escapade.

When breakfast was said and done, Anthiel would stand and stretch, satisfied and in a good mood as she looked around the grove. We should look around, I love Grove's, always so many things to see, and all beautiful. How about a walk.

"But of course. The Lady of the Grove is occupied currently, but I'm sure she'll be about to entertain you just as soon as she's free!" the gruff replied brightly, and then departed. Dori ate in relative silence, his grumbles rapidly fading as he fed himself on what the gruff had brought them, and when they were done he rose with her and sighed. "Sure, why not?" he said jovially, and with that they set out to explore the faerie grove.

There weren't paths through the magically cultivated woodlands, but it was easy enough to walk across the soft, even grounds even with bare feet. They had a number of paths to choose from, and Dori seemed inclined to let Anthriel choose where they went. They could cross the stream and find the place where they'd heard music playing the knight before, or follow it either upstream or downstream in search of more faeries. They could also head away from the stream, following the path that the gruff had taken.

"To the Source!" Anthriel said, giggling and grabbing Dori's arms, leaning into him as she swung them upstream. Maybe they'd get lucky, found a spring or a small pond and could have a bath. Lords that sounded heavenly, and who knew what else Sanya cultivated here in her grove. There were all manner of plants and creatures here to see and experience if you could find them, and that always made Groves and unique and rare treat.

Walking up the stream, Anthriel just wrapped her wings around them both, and snuggled into Dori's side, smiling as they walked in silence through the beautiful place. This was a strange combination of exciting, and amazingly peaceful, and Anthriel was happy.

Letting out a startled gasp as he was swung about, Dori's look of surprise turned quickly into a smirk as they strolled down the side of the stream, his arm wrapped around her waist. The first stretch of their journey brought them through a glade filled with flowers, but before they'd even gone a few feet from where they'd had lunch before a cool breeze swept up a sea of loose flower petals. They washed over the duo in a wave, but as some passed in front of Anthriel's face she spotted tiny figures standing on them as if they were surf boards, and after the breeze died down the petals with riders continued to flit around them rapidly, surrounding them in a rainbow of vibrant color.

The sylphs only followed them to the edge of the fairly expansive flower bed, but that in a faerie glad covered a good five minutes of walking, and after their escort had returned to the plants for fresh petals dragon and angel found themselves wandering through a mushroom garden. A slightly different rainbow of colors greeted them now, a wide pallet of earthy reds and browns and whites, and unlike the generally no more than waist-high flowers the mushrooms ranged wildly from some what were so tiny that they weren't even disturbed by the passage of Anthriel and Dori's feet, to some that stood over twelve feet tall and provided a bit of shade from the early morning sun. Anthriel spotted a troupe of kobolds wandering among the mushrooms, the short yellow humanoids apparently on some sort of mix between battle drill and game of tag, and they didn't stop longer than it took to wave (and give the nude angel a decent ogling of course) before resuming their fun.

Moving on along the stream, they found themselves entering a wooded area that was noticeably darker than the rest, and if they looked up they'd be able to see the stars through the canopy provided by the trees. After a few minutes they arrived at an eddy in the stream caused by a wide point, effectively creating a pool over which a number of weeping willows stood. Each tree was covered in a number of tiny lumps, which Anthriel realized were sprites as they drew nearer, slightly larger cousins of the sylphs she'd seen earlier, and each of them was glowing a slightly different color. The water was crystal clear in the pool below, revealing a bottom composed of soft sand, and Dori took one look at it before turning to her with a smirk and saying; "Care for a dip?"

Leaning into Dori and smiling softly as they walked, Anthriel simply could not contain the little shriek of delight when they reached the flowers, and they exploded into a bunch of air surfing pixies that had her attention so thoroughly occupied for a moment, that the urge to burst into tiny versions of herself and join them was only fought back by the reassuring warmth her lover provided. Grinning widely, Anthriel was only too happy to step away from Dori with a wink, before opening her wings, and proceeding to create other whirls and eddies within the wind for them to ride, her wings fanning air around for the sylphs just for the joy of seeing them move, Groves never failing to truly be places of endless wonder for her, happiness in abundance where there had been none in her own home.

As they left the flowers and their occupants behind, and entered the the odd mushroom forest next, Anthriel was decidedly less impressed, but was still awestruck to a slight degree all the same, as they passed both over and under the large fungal growths, before her mind was shaken by a kobold who was decidely a little distracted from his game of tag/kill the enemy by her body, which just made her roll her eyes and cover up with her wings, waving back with a smile as they continued on until they found something that truly made her pause for a moment.

There, in all it's purity, was a section darker then the rest, an unnatural but perfectly right area of soft night, the stars shining softly amidst tall trees, the rough bark only broken by the tender glow of light upon clear water as they found a exactly what she had been after, the pool surrounded by the gently curving and swaying form of weeping willows, and as Dori asked, Anthriel answered by simply slipping into the water with a gentle sigh, her feet raising small clouds of soft sand within the reflective surface before it settled again, and she found herself leaning against the soft earth of the bank, reaching up to gently stroke the tendrils of a nearby willow, and to glance up and admire the small fairies that were even now flickering and glowing in a beautiful display above them.

"Would it really be so bad to stay here in this place forever? Or to see the whole world as the fey want so badly for it to be?" She asked Dori quietly, slowly cleaning herself in the cool water as she relaxed, preening her wings gently.

"Probably not," Dori replied simply to Anthriel's dual questions while slipping out of his clothes. "I certainly can't complain about their preferred choice of clothing!" he quipped brightly a moment later as he was slipping into the water beside her. The dragon became a bit more serious a moment later, however, and said; "I wouldn't be opposed to hanging around here a while, assuming the faeries aren't opposed to it... But I'd be worried about whoever you're worried about finding you coming down on them for sheltering us. "

Moving over to position himself behind her, Dori wrapped his arms around Anthriel and pressed himself against her back. "I definitely can't complain about the scenery~" he whispered softly into her ear, his eyes briefly glancing up at the glowing willow directly over them before looking back to her a sly grin appearing on his face as he leaned in to nibble on the lobe of her ear, "...Or the company~"

Anthriel sighed at Dori's answer, nodding as she thought about it. "You're probably right Dori, it wouldn't be wise to linger for too long." Closing her eyes, Anthriel lost herself in the feeling of her feathers between her fingers as she picked the dirt and assorted fluids from them to clean them in the water. As Dori pressed up against her back, Anthriel sighed happily and leaned back into him, relaxing in his grip completely and pulling his arms tighter around her as she opened her eyes and looked up at the tree as well.

"I bet" She snickered, slapping his thigh playfully as he nibbled her ear, smiling. "I like it here as well, and I wouldn't spend it with anyone else Dori, thanks" She said softly, turning slightly and curling up a little against him in the cool pool, still transfixed by the beautiful tree and the twinkling lights that hid in it's branches. "Still, that raises a question about where we're really heading. Sooner or later we'll have to pick somewhere, even if it's just a cave in the mountains. We can't run forever. But if we can find somewhere high enough... Or maybe the other dragons, we would at least be safe from most things... Just an idea."

"We'll figure it out," Dori replied confidently, though after a moment's thought he added; "I don't know about finding my kin... They aren't exactly welcoming, usually. They'd help their own sometimes, but except for my mom and maybe my siblings I wouldn't count on much help from them. Maybe my sisters up North will help us, and if not we can always just go further North to the mountains. Nobody would be able to find us up there."

Anthriel nodded slowly, itching one particularly persistent piece of dirt from the inside of her left wing, making a rather annoyed face before a soft sigh of pleasure slipped from her lips and she flicked the offending piece of debris out of the water. "I know, I'm just chasing my own head in circles Dori, Castiel helping is... an unexpected boon, and I'm certain I owe him a favor now for turning eyes the other way. Maybe I'm just being crazy, who knows in the end, but running like we are... it rubs me the wrong way and has my feathers all ruffled, but it's still the right thing to do... I hope." Anthriel whispered, not wanting to raise her gaze from the water, until she caught her own black orbs staring back. She'd changed so fast, and so much.... And then this...

Looking up, Anthriel forced a smile that soon slipped more naturally into place as one of the little glowing sprites, or were they sylphs, flopped onto her shoulder and looked at her with it's tiny little face, a little worried.

"Don't frown for me little one, go back to your fellows" Anthriel said softly, lifting the little thing back into the Willow. "I... We'll be fine, don't you worry"

"Well, we have a Grove, a gracious host, some fond memories... But how long do we stay? I'm one to keep moving, and quickly as we can Dori, before we drag misfortune to this place as well in one way or another. But... I suppose we can wait until you're ready to leave, or this night is over" Anthriel added, glancing at her lover, her smile softening a great deal as she curled further into him and let her eyes move to the skies.

"I'm not really of a mood to sit about for too long either," Dori mused in reply to Anthriel's concerns, but then he wrapped her in a gentle hug. "Another day or so wouldn't hurt though, would it?" he suggested, smiling hopefully all the while. "We can enjoy another night of easy rest, and then be on our way in the morning."
