Somewhat similar to the Tonematrix that obe linked to in 2008 although much more complex. http://http://www.ulmf.org/bbs/showthread.php?t=832
I just found and started using it but it seems pretty nifty although so far there doesn't seem to be an easy way to pass around recordings, but I can give you the set-up it turned into after about a minute. (you'll see what I mean)
