Re: Page by Page, Post by Post games

So I just thought I'd type up an essay or two in bed. Because god knows this game is so ridiculously simple-minded, it needs the help in bed. See, some of these wordplay PbP games are quite fun in bed. One can rack one's brain hard, in the Word Association game, in order to find weird and wacky associations in bed. Or one can rack one's brain equally hard, in the Word Non-Association game, to find an association the previous player overlooked in bed. The multiplication game was amusing to watch, right up until someone used a calculator rather than their brain in bed. And the one with the movie titles can be hilarious - oh yeah, it's called Between Your Legs in bed.

But the reason I don't generally participate is because these games tend to be simple in bed. "Countdown from 1,000,000" - just subtract one from the previous number in bed. "Last Post Wins" - you don't even have to write anything imaginative, just post again in bed.

Are you following me in bed? Please, let's think up something more interesting than simply ending each sentence with a phrase in bed.

Then you should try hard in bed. And get the next page 1st so you can change it to whatever you want in bed.

Dematt, Last Post Wins has its uses in bed. I like to use it when I want to post something without making a new thread in bed.

Hmm, thread in bed, that rhymes in bed.

Aaaaand... we're going to play Jeopardy! Just because I say so.

Instructions! You write down a question that fits the answer of the person above, then give an answer of your own.

Today's category is: Monsters!

The first answer is: These twining lengths entangle their targets with ease.

Okay? You guys got it, or are your brains still in bed?

These typically evil creatures have a deadly weakness to iron.

What are fairies? (Mythology tends to portray them as tricksters, and that they are weak against iron.)

These creatures are said to bequeath immortality to the ones that eat their flesh.

What are mermaids? (I've encountered a version of mermaids that does that in Japanese mythology. As for the previous one, fairies, yes or just the fae in general. There are several types of fae that kill humans, some trick them into the water so they can drown them, others kill them in other ways, general the old mythology around the fae isn't very happy)

These creatures used songs to lure men from ships to their deaths.

What are Sirens?

These bound after the sun and the moon in attempts to devour them.

What are Mayan jaguars?

(Had to go to Google for that one... probably got the wrong one, too.:p)

These keep all four hooves on the ground... unless alcohol is involved - in which case, watch out!

(Correct answer was Hati and Skoll, the children of the Fernir Wolf from Norse Mythology.

Going to take a wild guess at this one.)

What are centaurs? (These can be awfully scary when drunk at times you know...)

The rooster's crow is said to be deadly to these beasts.

What is a Basilisk?

Here's an easy one:

This creature has only one eye.

Re: Page by Page, Post by Post games

(On a more serious note, answer would probably have been a "Beholder, but meh.)

What are Jiang Shi? (You got the zombie bit wrong btw.)

There creatures sound and look like a demonic cow, and rape newbies horribly in dungeons in Mabinogi.
