I download hard mode file but it crashes after starting the game, what's the problem?
 
Parasite in City was a great game! Excellent animations, decent sounds, decent gameplay, but a tad too short.

was last updated in 2014... I read somewhere that he switched to another website but nothing has come up.

His WIP for the sequel was looking even better than the first one.

Does anyone know what happened? Did he go the way of Konashion? :(
 
He is from South Korea, and South Korea banned pornography. Basically all of it. As a consumer you can bypass it, but actually producing it and getting money would be pushing it.

Some additional info: Asian countries and politicians often try it under their supposed "need for purity" of the society. For example in Thailand Pornography and Prostitution is illegal, its just not enforced that much, Now take China, it is definitely enforced there, together with their extreme wide censorship of the Internet. They even banned ASMR lately for being too erotic.

Ah yes the asian "purity" so pure that they treat their women like lesser people and have some of the highest molestation rates in the world, bout as pure as it can get lol.
 
Someone picked up the project of PiC 2 (I've saw some screenshots and stuff some times ago) and tried to continue it, but I think he dropped too. He was on a sort of huge chat with other developer.
Anyway we can assume it's a dead project, no doubt.

To correct some info, porns aren't banned from South Korea. but the law about porn is quite strict and they are still not open-minded to the sexual stuff.
For example, in order to prevent under-19s from getting porns, politicians try to just block access to porn websites and the collateral damage goes to legal adults.

Anyway, I'm guessing the reason why the developer abandoned it is because he went for military service, and after getting out of that he doesn't have time for continuing it.

Pornographic websites, books, writings, films, magazines, photographs or other materials of a pornographic nature are illegal in South Korea, although the law is not regularly enforced. Distribution of pornography can result in a fine or a two-year prison sentence. Since 2009, pornographic websites have been blocked by the South Korean government

And its the distribution/producing part that would actually be the most risky, especially receiving money for it. So everything does point out to him vanishing because of it.

hmm. seems I got confused with adult stuff and porns.
But still, there are legal porn films distributed. well, can't deny it is freaking minor and those films cannot show real sex scenes.
 
But his latest post mentioned something about suicide. And South Korea is infamous of this issue.

Let's be honest here, he's probably already long dead.

Futhermore, sex in East Asia is seen as impure. Since Confucianism implied the importance of women are lesser than men, and pornography will definitely degrade the society.

In ancient China, women have to actively flatten their breasts because have big breasts are seens as "impure", and any scholars who wrote pornographic literatures will face tremendous pressure from the local literature world. Some famous poets have to burn their own legendary porno work just to avoid more stress from them.

So its their tradition to view sex negatively. Except Japan tho, for some reason.
 
tis a shame that asia is so fucked, sadly there is no way they can fix it anytime soon, it'll be many many years before that. in japans case idk i guess being secluded on an island has created a lot of sexual tension and kinky thoughts lol, they still have a very high suicide rate though which sucks and on top of that no dudes there want to knock chicks up or even have anything to do with the ladies anymore, so the birth rate has gone to shit, if they need help they can send me over lol.
 
Well, I wouldn't say they don't want to. I believe its the cost of taking care of the consequences. Asia isn't the kindest place to live when it comes to surviving on low income or having a serious career. Any attempt to be a family person could result in losing promotions or being seen as unproductive. In the west, guys are at least seen as macho or masculine for knocking someone up whether it's your wife or someone else's, Asian society ain't too keen on disorderly people like that. So it's like society is out to get you and your ball sack. That and why get a female when you can buy a sexbot who will make them obsolete? No periods, does everything you say, won't call the cops, won't pop out babies by accident, and since they can be modified with no repercussion, you don't have to put up with someone that gets uglier by the day. Japan is currently working on making that a reality for the internet.
 
East Asians' definition of "family guy" is those who devote himself completely into work for his family. Its their role to put total focus on work in order to support their family.

That's why they have way longer working hours, more overtime without pay, and less outgoing in general. They do it for their family.

Since East Asia turned from an agricultural country to an industrial country, they begin to focus more on the quality of their children rather than quantity of their children.Thus, their living cost rised dramatically.

In East Asia, its the father's responsibility to earn enough money for their children to get into college/university. That's why their children have to be obedient and be filial to them at all times because their father will pave the way for their children by slaving themselves. They don't even expected to retire early like western counterpart, they were expected to work to his end of life in order to earn enough savings for his future generation.

When they say the living costs is too high to start a family, don't forget they have included higher education expenses for their children in their bill. Its impossible to have more children without considering their education cost in their bill.

That's why its very hard to find a date if you don't have a stable, high-income job in East Asia. If you don't have your own property likes house, car and etc, that's means your income wasn't stable enough to start a family.

With all these pressure, its getting more common for East Asian men to not marry at all because they have to basically pay for everything but for himself.
