Some of the art and animation are reused from his previous game Haro, not that I mind since I've done Haro to death and enjoy the quirky dialogue between the cast.
Compared to the tile matching in Haro, Hanafuda is harder since there's much more grinding involved due to the card draw.

The gameplay is pretty much Hanafuda, nothing really too complex just gotta understand the rules and what card matches together

Ok...this is me playing this game.
I've "moon-language-played" lots of hrpg and I've never been more confused. I looked around for rules to play hanafuda, still, I'm not sure if I didn't understand them or if the game has its own rules, or simply how good or bad the game went. As I could not get a h-event with the hot cook girl in the main screen, I quit, clicking the door at the upper right corner, gave me a choice, the one I chose sent me to...another game?. Something about harem. So I was like, ok, now you are speaking my language. Played a game vs Haro-like-girl, and again, no idea how good I played but at the end I did got a h-event...where once again, I had no idea what to do. I just clicked a bunch of option, got sex, paizuri, anal (I do know the kanas =D)....some kind of screen where you can "move" the image and cum. Blowjob from a blonde girl...aaand...that's it. I got annoyed and quit.
Unless some good soul posts a guide this game will be beyond us non-japanese reading mortals

It's exactly as you say. I think I got the basics of hanafuda, but the menus and gigazillions of icons, number, and whatnot in the screen makes it really hard to understand what just happened or what to do apart from choosing cards.
Still, I believe the fact itself that this game is built around hanafuda, a game of luck, is annoying. It's like those strip poker or strip whatever-casino-game. I hope there is some way to make yourself "stronger" and make the games easier (like Haro) that we don't know yet because of the former point: not knowing what the heck does what. =P

Just finished quest 2 out of 6 in the main storyline.
To progress through the storyline, make use of the spirits on the right-hand side of the interface. With enough karma points and spirits, hunting and search modes are much easier since you start with a larger deck from the beginning.
Stuff looted from hunting/searching should be identified and then equipped. The different stats on the equipment can be applied either in the main storyline or on the child-producing harem mode.
So far I keep getting a crash when I try to form a search party for the raid mini-game so I have no idea what that does so far.

Would anyone who got any far share their savedata. I downloaded and extracted the games resources but saw no animations. I'm hoping there's a viewer or something so I can see if I'd want to spend time playing the game.
