Extract my files into the data game folder and delete basicdata and mapdata.wolf files.

Personally I just copy and paste it from a notepad file. Makes it much easier than having to look it up or try to type it in every time.

Yo, sorter I think I figured out the random letter thing I mentioned.

It's replacing punctuation marks (!= I for example).

Well I use the japanese exclamation marks, I don't replace them with the english ones. I personally have no problem. If anyone else has a visual problem please let me know and I will update.

Never had any problems with your translation, works fine here.
Also is the partial finished? Because i can't wait to taste the fruits of your labor.

So turns out someone else had a similar problem and found a fix for it. He fixed it by editing the Game.ini in the base folder, change the "SoftModeFlag=0" to "SoftModeFlag=1", this way it will use software rendering but should fix it. Seems to work fine now, so if anyone else runs into a similar issue, here's a fix.

The partial is not completely done. Still missing skill names and descriptions and such. But all menus should be done now. Also I will reiterate again. You MUST start a new game if you want some of the things to be translated. Its retarded I know. Welcome to the world of translating foreign games.

Hi guys. Is there any translation out there with some dialogs and items translated? I downloaded that one Sorter provided(thanks by the way, buddy) but only the interface and monsters names are in english. Everything else is in japanese. Although I can figure out things here and there, I get totally lost most of the time. For instance, I have no idea which are the TMs for smashing rocks and cutting trees.

igotnostuffs's 1.03 translation has item descriptions and most of the moves, but reverts the game to an older patch (the aforementioned v1.03) in which there are a few glitches that were fixed in version 1.10.

Best way to tel if the TM is cut or rock smash is to go to the equip screen and see which one is usable by Erona after she evolves (sword and shield), as she can use cut, but not rock smash.

lil question, in my dex theres some girls appearing as already captured, but I really didnt capture them. Hows that possible?

Also have you ever captured them before on another save file? Otherwise it may just be a bug.

I had this happen when I defeated a gym leader and chose the second option by mistake. You'll receive a gal instead of the leader's CG. If you've done that and then loaded save file before the leader, you'll no longer have the girl but still have the dex entry.

Just a quick update: halfway done with skills. I finished the text that appears whenever u use a skill. Will do skill descriptions and costs next.
