The tentacles seem to respond as instantly the tentacles gripped the ground and pulled the rest of the tentacle monster's body up and out of the hole, though unlike her usual speed, Quetz was grabbed quickly by the tentacle monster, it had obviously wanted to get it on and fast. She swings fast at the tentacles but the swing wasn't strong enough to do any damage to the tentacle, probably seeing as she was taken by surprise with the tentacles wrapping around her wrists and ankles once more. Quetz swung the canister at the tentacle creature and when it went to bring up a shield one tentacle didn't wrap up in time and there was a significant squeal. Instantly after the squeal, the tentacles unwrapped and went lunging straight for Quetz, wrapping around nearly every part of her arms and legs, suspending her legs spread out.
