Re: Reclaiming the Wood (Tiffanian) GMed by Takimaru

"N-No, I only meant to ask, and well, I wasn't sure if you were still paralyzed..." Aeron trailed off, finally catching a hint of his propensity for angering the girl. He sighed, shaking his head, and plodded towards the door, stopping at the entrance before glancing at her once again. "I'll meet you at the First Elder's place in a few, then," he said in temporary farewell before taking his leave, his normally confident posture now somewhat drooped, with his shoulders visibly slumped.
Given an ample amount of time to return to her house and retrieve her clothing, but without her trademark breastplate and sword, Llæwyn felt... well, lighter than usual. When she made it to the First Elder's house, she arrived to find a similar arrangement, with Aeron already there--but so was Lynnea, whose eyes widened as soon as she saw the green-haired beauty, now without the usual gear that would otherwise identify her as an elven warrior.
The older woman ran to her and hugged her tightly, with her eyes tearing up. "I-I heard about what happened... I'm so sorry! Had I only run a bit faster, or if I were less foolish about just rushing in the way I did..." she began to sob.
The First Elder made it a point to speak up after a few seconds, determined not to let the moment linger on for too long. "No, the fault belongs to neither of you. If anyone, I will claim responsibility for this lack of foresight... I did not expect the creatures on that part of the surface to be so dangerous," the silver-haired elf conceded.
"Yes," chimed in Aeron. "Even the one I encountered on the southern end, was considerably stronger than those that I faced in my assigned district. If there were as many of them as Lynnea claimed, it's no wonder..." He dared not bring up Llæwyn's defeat in any form once more, probably having learned better by now; not that he had many hopes of getting back on her good side in the near future.
