Patch:
Details:
Saves from this patch should be compatible with current/future Japanese versions, and allow swapping between them. Taking backups is advised.
The patch changes the default font to "MS PGothic". If the game has been run before and text appears to be monospaced or angular, it's recommended to set it to "MS PGothic" in the options menu.
The game version will effectively be fixed to the translation version, so fixes from a newer official patch.xp3 are unlikely to have any effect.
Issues:
For anyone posting issues, please make sure the issue occurs when running only patch.xp3 and patch2.xp3 . Run any other patch on top, particularly if it alters save file content in a way that breaks official game compatibility, and you're own for support.
To determine if an issue is from the translation patch or the base game, rename/remove patch2.xp3 so you're running on the official version, load the same save, and see if the issue still occurs.
