Born into the wealthy but beleagured Windscythe clan, Davia stood out from her peers from a young age due to her quick and curious mind. Considered an arcane prodigy, her future looked auspicious. However, far from working towards her family's rise to power, Davia planned to leave Drow society behind, having grown weary of the infighting and the senseless brutality. Upon coming of age, instead of being inducted as an acolyte of Lolth in a ploy to gain the goddess's favor, Davia left her home behind, and has never since looked back. After a few years of traveling the underdark, she reached the surface. There, she sought out the surface dwellers to discover cultures beyond the one she grew up in, always seeking to increase her knowledge, power and maybe find a place she can call home.

Davia is less brutal and sadistic than her brethren, but still quite arrogant, proud, sexually domineering. Her travels have shown her many facets of the surface world, and nothing she has seen has made her question her race's innate superiority. Despite her hedonistic tendencies, Davia is a dedicated scholar, avid reader, and hard worker. Her magical powers stem from study, meditation, and rigorous practice, and she despises sorcerers, warlocks and clerics, and everyone else who derives their power from an external source.

Davia enjoys indulging in her desires, whether it be taste, entertainment, or sexual gratification, though she does have the discipline to forgo these if times are tough. As a very sensual being, she enjoys making her partners subservient to her every whim. She has a special thing for surface elves, and loves channeling her ancestral hatred into sexual dominance. One of her minor goals is to create a harem of exotic elf-variants.

What's a secret your character would never want anyone to know? Davia has done many dark deeds in the name of her research, the details of which she keeps secret, as to not offend possible assets.

An allmighty deity wishes to punish you, but they only want to annoy you, not ruin your life. What do they come up with and what deity might you have offended? The obvious scorned deity is Lolth, and the most surefire way to punish Davia would be to meddle in her magic.

Backstory: Nix never knew her parents, she is not even sure whether or not they were the ones who named her, she grew up on the streets of a city she couldn't even remember the name of anymore, having left it while still young. There, along with other orphans, she learned how to steal. But she was not like the other children, while they were humans, half-orcs, halflings or other more common races, yet she was neither of those, and yet at the same time she was like none of them. Some of the other kids called her a monster, but she couldn't really see why. Being on the streets like this she saw that things were not fair, some people simply had more than others, so if they could just have more things than her, then she could just trick them into giving her things. At first she wasn't succesful, but as she moved to new places and experienced the pleasures riches could grant you, what you could do with friends in high places, and she wanted to experience more.
But She found that having to be a new person everyday to avoid being chased by those she'd cheated was preventing her from having friends, having contacts, being able to have people she could enjoy all the things she stole and cheated to get herself. So she decided that it was time for her to put her abilities to the test, to create herself a persona she could use, but she decided to go the extra step and ensure that it could be used for everything she wanted. So along with deciding how she should look and starting to get to know people as this new persona, Eleanah, she also forged papers to make it look like she'd always existed. Old reports of her having stolen a bit of food and such, others with her getting off on technicalities, she then delivered them herself in disguise to the local guards, warning them they'd gotten a nuisance from a town over who'd settled down here. Finally she got to know the local lowlives, after all in the day to day, they did have the most entertaining parties.

Backstory:
Zameia was born in a small village to a poor family. However she doesn't know who they are, or even where the village was. Before she was old enough to even form her own memories, her village was raided by a tribe of Orcs. They ransacked the village and killed almost everyone there, and she assumes that her birth parents were killed in that raid. By some stroke of luck, a few Orcs decided to show mercy that day... (something they were punished for when they returned to the camp). Rather than killing or even leaving the small Tiefling baby to die, the Orcs took her in to raise her. The tribe had few children, and were low on women, which likely played into the Chieftan's decision to keep and raise the Tiefling child. And as such, Zemaia was raised and taught as though she were an Orc child, taught that dominance and power were the only things that mattered in the world. That the strong were justified in ruling over the weak, and that any who were to weak to stop you held no moral high ground. If they did... they'd still be alive. She was taught to be strong, as even Orcish women were meant to be better than the pathetic whelps that lived in their villages and towns. However, the tribe still feared she would harbor resentment against them, and so she was never given a weapon and was trained instead to fight with her fist. At a young age she was even given the duty of tending to the tribe's pack animals. She fed them and cared for them, enjoying their company and learning the best ways to care for animals. As an outsider she was often shunned by those around her, and got into numerous fistfights with other Orcs. She didn't hate her life, in fact she found herself to enjoy fighting and knocking out people that were mean to her. Zameia took the Orc lessons to heart, as most children would when told that nearly from birth. When she beat up those around her it meant she was right. When she won that meant she was dominant and that she was better than them. And if she was better than them, it didn't matter how hard they tried to bully her because she was BETTER. Sure she may not have been stronger, but she usually fought better or faster than the rest of them. It was a violent and strange life, but not one she despised.

That was until she came of age. The Orcs hadn't taught her everything about their world view and what her duties would be. Orcish women were meant to be submissive and subservient to their husbands, and meant to increase the tribes numbers. They weren't meant to be warriors, the only reason they learned combat was to defend their family and the camp if need be. She was told that all of her fighting and strength wouldn't matter, and that soon it would be her duty to bear a child for the tribe. That wasn't the life that Zameia wanted, and she tried to argue with the Orcs, wanting to become a warrior with the other Orc men. The argument got heated, and at some point the Orcish chieftan grew angry and told her the only reason she was spared and adopted was to bear children for their tribe. Later that same night, Zameia snuck out and ran away from the tribe. She ran throughout the night in the wilderness, desperately wanting to live her own life. However she had nowhere to go, no one to run to, and would likely be hunted down by the tribe and killed if she didn't get far enough away. The young Tiefling ran and ran, eventually stumbling upon a secluded monastery in the forest. And while she was scared and distrustful of outsiders, she was too desperate not to beg those at the monastery for help. She thought she would be killed, or turned away, thinking that all would act like the Orcs that raised her. And it was only right that they did so, she was weak and helpless, useless, pathetic, they had every right to kill her and take anything they wanted from her. That was how the world worked.

To Zameia's surprise the monks took her in. They asked for nothing, no payment, no services, nothing. Instead they provided her with food and shelter, caring for her wounds and sicknesses, and offering her the chance to stay for as long as she wanted. She hadn't even told them where she came from, why she was at the monastery, or why she needed help, and yet they almost seemed not to care. Sure they would ask questions about her, but never pushing her to answer. At first she mistook this for weakness, thinking they were feeble and afraid of her, so she lashed out and got in a fight with one of the heads of the monastery. He made short work of her, fighting with skill and speed that she had never seen, she couldn't even land a hit on him. And yet... after she was defeated they cared for her and protected her. Eventually she had to ask questions... she had to know why they would show kindness and generosity if they were so strong. That was the turning point of her life. They explained their traditions, views, and training. They believed in defending others, kindness, living to help those that needed it and being strong so that others were allowed to be weak. In turn she explained how she was raised and taught, and initially rejected the monks beliefs. Still, they cared for her and sheltered her, not minding that she didn't believe them. At some point she felt bad for taking from them constantly, and started helping out around the monastery, watching them as she tended to plants and animals, finding a strange sense of peace she hadn't known her whole life. It took months of her helping around the monastery and watching them train and meditate, warming up to them and learning about how they saw the world, and eventually she decided to take the plunge. She asked them to train and teach her, wanting to learn their ways, wanting to figure out the world view that led to them living like this. Her Orc teachings had given her nothing, and almost led to her being used as nothing more than a breeder... Perhaps these monks knew more than she had ever been taught.

For a decade she trained and learned, she meditated and honed her fighting skills, she was taught not just how to fight, but how to strive for balance and inner peace. She was taught how to protect the weak, how to live frugally, how to fight with more than just force. They even taught her how to talk to others without the blunt aggressiveness of the Orcs, teaching her how words could be as strong of a weapon as fists or a staff. It was as though Zameia was reborn. The anger and hatred almost seemed to melt off of her when she trained and meditated, and she learned to be good. At the age of 26 she had become a proper monk. She knew how to fight, and how to maintain peace. In return the monks only asked to help maintain the temple, and to use their skills to help others. The rigorous training brought a peace to her life she had never experienced. That training had taught her a lot, and made her realize she knew so little about the world. So once she was confident enough in her skills she went to the head of the monastery and asked for permission to leave and experience the world. Not only would it teach her so much, but it would help her train to a level the monastery couldn't give, and one day perhaps she would return to train and help others as the monks had done for her. She was allowed to leave immediately, the monks had said long ago she was allowed to leave whenever she wished, and so they gave her some basic equipment and wished her well on her journey to see the world.

Zemaia is far kinder after years of training. She isn't as quick to anger, and she doesn't fight pointlessly. However, being raised by Orcs has still had its effect on her personality. She is quick to accept challenges made to her ability, and finds it difficult to turn down a fight. She also hasn't completely thrown off her thoughts of power and dominance, wanting to be victorious more than the average fighter. She's curious about the world, and likes talking to others, but that also means she's inexperienced. All she has known are two extremes, one of selfishness and power, and one of total selflessness. She has some trouble trusting people still, and doesn't like cruelty and rudeness for no reason. Not only that, but she hates looking weak, even after that decade it shames her to fail and appear weaker than those around her.

Zemaia actually has a strong and hidden submissive streak. But she was raised in a culture that believed in dominance and strength above all else. So she believes that submissiveness is a sign of weakness and weakness is a sign of uselessness.

They'd make her voice high pitched, or shrink her an extra foot, or make her muscles smaller, or turn her skin some really ridiculous color, anything that would make her appear weaker or feeble or ridiculous. It would probably be one of the Orc gods, if she were to guess it would've been Luthic, or Gruumsh. Though it's odd they're just trying to mess with her, if Gruumsh was pissed at her he'd probably send something to kill her.

Backstory: Born from an unknown elven father and a human mother that would have prefered not to have her, Rayn had to learn how to fend for herself. She did many jobs growing up. Ceaning tables as a tavern wench was paying low, even if she enjoyed the attention she got from the drunken patrons. Soon, she found out that there are other jobs that paid more, and really made one the center of attention...like singing, playing music, dancing etc. It didn't take long before she started performing in a stip club, and from there it was easy to offer better services to clients who paid more. During her career she has picked up many skills - while she prefers to earn her money in a legal way, she wouldn't say no to pickpocketing a rude, drunk customer, or things like that.
