Tendril sighed, holding Shioris hand "Im sorry but thats the point of the arena...." she said, thinking "If you want to come speak with me....i live at the castle near the abandoned town" she said, atleast Shiori knew she could speak to her at the castle as it looked like fighting was mandatory in this scenario...

Even though Tendril had the surprise attack on Shiori, she didnt manage to hit Shiori at all, who with rapid naginta slashing managed to do intense damage to her already, leaving a gash on her stomach and arm, tearing her labcoat...

When Tendril told Shiori that she was sorry but that was the point of the arena, Shiori's ears drooped a little and her tail fell a little as well, expressing her sadness for having to fight. "That's sad, I wish we didn't have to fight, because you really seem nice to me. But I promise me and my friend Kaei will come to your castle after we get done here. I'd like to talk with you," Shiori said after Tendril spoke, still showing a little sadness for having to fight.

Shiori managed to evade Tendril's sneak attack on her that she attempted while shaking hands with Shiori, her canine instincts alerting her of it just as it came and giving her the speed to dodge it. Shiori then managed to put up a pretty stiff resistance against Tendril's attacks, swinging her naginata around very quickly and forcing Tendril back further and further with every attack, easily dodging Tendril's attacks in the process. Shiori's attacks left a couple of gashes on Tendril's waist and arm, while a third attack tore her labcoat fairly bad.

After that scuffle, Shiori took a step back, watching carefully at Tendril's next move and trying to anticipate how she would attack, because even though she didn't want to fight, she couldn't afford to lose after coming so far, not with the thought of Kaei running through her mind, and what she wanted to ask her.

I assume that Tendril there shook Shiori's hand and tried to attack her while shaking it, and that's what you meant by Tendril had the surprise attack on Shiori. Am I right?

Shiori almost managed to completely take Tendrils panties off, causing her to blush and lose her concentration for a minute, although now Shiori realised why her name was Tendril as pink tentacles shot from her back, wrapping around Shioris wrists and waist and limiting her movement.

Shiori swung her naginata again at Tendril and almost managed to cut her panties completely off of her, which caused Tendril to blush in embarrassment for a moment. Shiori saw why she was named now though as she saw shot out from her back and wrapped around Shiori's waist and wrists, hampering her movement quite badly. Shiori could feel herself starting to get aroused as well, and if Tendril looked closely at the crotch area of Shiori's clothing, she'd see a very noticeable bulge there from Shiori's member reacting to her arousal.

Shiori continued fighting on though, not wanting and not willing to give up yet just because she was grabbed like she was. She attempted to break free from Tendril's grasp enough to get another attack off on her,in hopes of maybe knocking her out, or admitting defeat so she didn't have to hurt her any more than she had to. If that didn't work then Shiori would dive at Tendril and attempt to beat her at what she suspected was her own game by grabbing onto Tendril and groping her breasts to stimulate her into submission.

The battle continued to drag on despite Tendril showing visible signs of weakness, however a swift tentacle to Shioris stomach almost winded her, as more tentacles winded around her legs and knocked her onto her back as she was dragged closer to Tendril, she felt desperately weak...

As the battle dragged on, Shiori was slammed right in her stomach by one of Tendril's tentacles, and keeled over a bit in pain as the breath was knocked out of her and forced her to gasp for air. A moment later she then felt more tentacles wind around her legs while another knocked her on her back, where she was then dragged towards Tendril, coughing a little from the blow to her stomach a few moments before.

Her strength was nearly gone and she was being held very tightly by Tendril's tentacles and wasn't likely going to easily break free from them. But she still had to try, she had to win so she could make whatever she got for winning this gauntlet a gift for Kaei. Shiori, with tears in her eyes began struggling as she was dragged towards Tendril, weakly at first, but those struggles quickly began getting stronger as she tried to get free enough to hit her opponent and win before she was done for.

"N-No, I... c-can't lose here t-to you Tendril... I must win... gotta win so I can... t-tell Kaei h-how I feel," Shiori said as she was dragged closer, because she wasn't quite sure what would happen if she lost and didn't want to leave or risk losing her friend/lover.

With violent thrashing and struggling Shiori managed to get herself out of tendrils grip, then she had to be really careful not to be grabbed or hit again, in a well timed slash she managed to leave another large gash across Tendrils stomach, coughing Tendril fell to her knees and nearly slumped onto the ground, shuddering she looked at Shiori "Y-You have one more enemy to defeat....if you lose or win...come find me...i can give you something..." she said, coughing and collapsing, Shiori found herself back in the waiting room, the sign now on a foreboding "1", the metal door was torn from its hinges and in pieces on the ground and the window was showing what looked like the insides of a temple...

Shiori's struggling and thrashing around managed to free her from Tendril's grasp and then she managed to avoid getting grabbed again by the tentacles. Then she brought her naginata around and left a gash across Tendrils's waist. Tendril fell to her knees and Shiori could tell that she'd just won the fight, so she moved over to Tendril's side and caught her before she fell over after she started coughing, and gently laid her down. “I promise we'll come and see you as soon as we can miss Tendril, I'd really like to talk with you more,” Shiori told her and pretty much as soon as she said that, Shiori was teleported back to the waiting room again.

Once back in the waiting room, the first thing Shiori noticed was the sign said one, and the large metal door was torn from its hinges and laying on the floor in pieces. The sight of the door in the state it was in absolutely terrified the young wolf girl, and when she glanced out the window she saw what looked like the inside of a temple of some sort outside it.

“I don't even want to know what did that to the door, but whatever it was had to have been huge, or very strong. Before I go to find out just what it was though I have to rest for a minute or two, or I won't be able to put up any fight at all,” Shiori mumbles under her breath as she stared at the remains of the door. Once she was rested enough, Shiori cautiously moved through the doorway and out into the temple, being very careful to stay as stealthy as she could so as not to run face first into whatever broke the door down.

Once inside, this place looked more like a arena, it was styled much like a roman coliseum, albeit there was no audience at all, in the middle of the arena there were what looked like four pillars in the style of gravestones, each one was tinted a different colour, one was red, one was light blue, one was grey and another was completely black...

After going inside and starting to look around, Shiori found herself in what looked much like an old Roman coliseum. Inside she actually expected the seats to be full as it was supposed to be the final room and all, but amazingly it was in fact not. In the center of the arena Shiori saw four pillar like things sticking up out of the ground, and each one was a different color.

"Well what am I supposed to do here I wonder?" Shiori asked herself aloud, wondering what exactly she was meant to do here. She decided to go over to investigate the pillars a little more closely, though she was a bit afraid to touch them. If nothing happened upon closer investigation, then Shiori would risk a touch on the light blue one.

All the individual pillars seemed to have names on them, all of them pointing to a boss style encounter...

"So I get to choose the boss I wanna fight huh. Well I choose you, as I've heard some stuff about how gentle undines are to people, so maybe if I end up losing she won't be as harsh," Shiori said aloud, and then she moved over to the light blue pillar and touched it as she attempted to figure out how to make her choice.

The pillar shook for a second, and then started to slide up and out of the ground , eventually revealing a hole as the pillar landed on the ground, Shiori could fit herself down the hole easily, when she did so she landed in what looked like a small underwater cavern, there was water in these caves that were about knee high, it was quite large, plenty of room to move about and dodge attacks and there were small rock spires rising from the ground to hide behind, Shiori could see at the center of the chamber was a mound with what looked like a ornate pot ontop of it, she heard a sliding sound and looked up, the hole she came in through was blocked off once again, no going back...

When Shiori saw the pillar slide out of the ground to reveal the hole, she figured that the gauntlet apparently figured out that she wanted to fight the undine and gave her a way to get to it. So she hopped down to hole after seeing that she could fit along with her spear.

Once at the bottom she landed in a cavern filled with water that came up to her knees. It would hamper her movements most likely, but it was nothing she couldn't deal with, as there was plenty of room to use to dodge incoming attacks and such, plus there were rocks and stuff jutting up from the water to hide behind as well. In the center of the room she saw a mound with something on top of it that looked vaguely like a pot, then just as she was about to take a step closer she heard a sound above her and looked up to see her path now cut off as the pillar slid back into place.

She had only one path open to her now and that was to beat the boss, wherever this undine was. Shiori decided to head to the mound, as it looked to be the only piece of dry ground in this place. From there she would investigate the pot upon it and if nothing was in there then she'd look around the room from the mound, staying alert and ready for anything coming at her.

When she looked into the pot she saw some water inside of it, which suddenely launched out and sprayed Shiori in the face, almost knocking her to the ground, after putting the pot back in place she saw the pot tip over as the water poured out of it and into the water on the ground, nothing happened for a few minutes...

Out the corner of her eye, she saw a watery tentacle try to grab a hold of her, she managed to dodge quickly enough thanks to her better senses and she could make out what looked like a head in the water, looking up at her it was made entirely of the water as well but in the shape of a woman, it sank back under the water as Shiori could see more attacks were coming her way!

Shiori managed to get a few slashes off easily, cutting away attacking tendrils and spikes, however she let her guard down for a second as she felt a trident pierce through her arm, bleeding her but almost enraging her as she managed to get a spin attack with her nagintas off, cutting several tendrils off in sucession as they melted into harmless specks of water in mid air.

When she looked into the pot she saw a bit of water inside, which squirted out and hit her in the face, drenching her and causing her to stumble back a step or two before she caught herself, a moment later after she righted the pot, it tipped over and and water inside poured out and into the rest of the water about the room.

After that Shiori didn't see anything else happen for a few minutes as she looked around cautiously into the room, then suddenly a tentacle made of water shot out at her, though she managed to evade it thanks to her quick reflexes. She saw what she thought was a head in the water looking up at her that was made of water itself, and she also saw that it looked to be in the shape of a woman. She started to call out to the watery woman when she suddenly sank back down into the water and Shiori was back on the defensive again.

Shiori got a few good slashed with her naginata in on the watery tentacles and spikes coming at her, but just as soon as she let her guard down for only a second, she felt a the point of a trident stab into her arm. She cried out in pain at the stab on her, but immediately spun around, brandishing her naginata around in a wide arc and taking out many of the watery tentacles around her. Shiori then attempted to press her attack after that, hoping to win this fight and not come all this way for nothing.

"I can't afford to lose yet. I've gotta win, for Kaei," Shiori said, preparing to go on the attack.

Shiori had to fight harder as some of her attacks were now starting to miss, she heard the water rise and she felt something against her back, suddenely two shimmering hands of water had grabbed her breasts and kneaded them, she was being groped from behind as a watery tendril snaked up her legs and tried binding them in place, one of the hands gently slid down her panties and rubbed the entrance of her lower lips, she managed to get a slash off to get whoever it was groping her off, but she still had the tendrils to contend with.

Shiori's attacks she saw were beginning to weaken, which was causing her to miss a bit more than she had been, though she wasn't through yet however. She suddenly heard the water rise up behind her but before she could turn around, she felt something pressing against her back, then a pair of hands reached around and grabbed her breasts and began kneading them, drawing a gasp and then a cute coo from Shiori. A watery tentacle slithered up her legs and attempted to bind them in place, while one of the two hands slipped down her body and into her panties, where it tenderly began rubbing her quickly moistening folds.

Her knees quaking, Shiori just managed to get a slash of her weapon off to get whoever or whatever was groping her off, but the tentacles were still holding her firmly in their grasp. "N-No please... not now that I've gotten so close. I'll let you have fun with me afterward, but I have to win here and now, please dammit body move," Shiori whimpered out to whoever was or rather had been groping her.

Shiori had to be very careful as any wrong move could get her hurt, once again her heightened senses helped her get the drop on the opponent, as when a mass amount of tentacles tried to converge on her at once, two clean slashes were all she needed to cut them into two, she heard a subtle whimpering sound, then a hole opened in the center of the floor, all the water pouring into it, watching this she didnt notice a thick tentacle rise out of it and suddenely pull her in, she nearly banged her head on the way down but she passed out...

When she woke up she was in a darkly lit room, the only source of light shining down on a pedestal in the center, on the pedestal was a golden trophy, inside the trophies bowl was a key, resting beside the trophy on the left side was a vial of a rapidly changing colour liquid, on the right side of it was a small gem glowing a purple colour, upon inspection of the glowing gem, she felt a rush of energy inside her but then a sudden burst of arousal, as if someone had just quickly fingered her, the gem didnt vanish, it was still nice to look at, looks like she had found her "proposal" item...She took her loot and was teleported back into the waiting room, the metal door was fixed again and the window showed the outsides of the desert, the number sign was gone and she only could go through the wooden door now...

[Shiori found a special potion she can use to change the species of herself or anybody that drinks it, this one can only be used once but it lets her turn herself or anyone else into any kind of mamono/monster girl or a personified version of a monster she has fought, this comes with bonuses and downsides however]

Shiori was on the verge of losing consciousness, but she felt a burst of adrenaline run through her and brought her naginata around and slashed at the many tentacles closing in on her position. Her weapon cleaved through one, then another and as she was about to bring it around for a third strike, she heard a soft whimper come from somewhere. As she stopped to look around for where it came from a hole opened up in the middle of the floor, with all of the water pouring in. As she watched she didn't notice the tentacle rise out of it and pull her in along with the water, with Shiori passing out along the way.

When she awakened, Shiori was in a dark room with the only light coming from what was shining down onto a pedestal in the center of the room. She saw the gold trophy on the pedestal and went over to it to investigate it. After looking inside and finding all of the items within, she took the all three items and stashed them into her pack after examining each one of them, deciding to hold onto the potion for now, because she liked her ears and tail the way they were. When she picked up the gem inside the trophy, she suddenly felt a lot of energy flow into her from the gem and then a burst of arousal, feeling like someone had just tickled her down low.

"I know... I can give this to Kaei. Ohhhh, I hope she likes it," Shiori said, fidgeting around as she wondered if Kaei would like her gift.

She was teleported back to the waiting room once again, and glanced over to the window once more and saw the desert she came across to get here, she also noticed the metal door was fixed, but with the number sign now gone she didn't have any reason to try going through it, so she went on back through the wooden door and hoped Kaei was still waiting for her.

Wow, honestly I really expected to lose that fight. I'm guessing she keeps the power the gem gave her even if she gives it to Kaei. Or does Kaei get it instead? Also everything else goes into her pack for now.
