As she struggles wildly she sees kara try and be unable to cast the spell, " her eyes go wide in realization, but it gives her the burst of power needed to pull herself away.

Karas spell then flies and connects with the plant, taking a deep breath she says "seems you cant attack while a friend is grabbed, trippy world" readying her daggers as she finishes she tries to unleash a beast cleave to finish it.
