Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

"Hmm, fine. It is safe with me." the barkeep told Adelle as he took the key and hit some unknown button to open up the safe automatically. Without missing a beat or turning to aim, he chucked the keys over his shoulder, a perfect throw that resulted in the keys ending up in the safe before he pushed the button for the second time and the safe went back to lockdown again as a result. "There we go."

Leaving the bar, the girls headed out towards the indicated place, which was just out of shouting distance from the city limits. It looked like it was a decently build place, with actual concrete walls of some fifteen feet of height surrounding it from most directions, though the western side they were approaching from had a partially fenced area made from chain link. That was where the entrance was, a spot that only had a checkpoint with a mechanical gate that was pried open halfway in addition to a small guard post. Other than that, it was not easy to make things out on the approach as there was a whole lot of old, decaying trucks and containers littered about in, the containers forming a rather diverse landscape of high and low areas around the place. Only real thing that gave something away was the fact that the girls could see smoke rising from the backside of the area, which indicated that there should be people there. If the rumors were correct, it was probably a camp of the wasteland raiders.

"Thanks Azrael, I appreciate that, we'll be back later and I'll pick it up then," Adelle told the barkeep.

After heading on out and getting out to the place in question, Adelle took a good look of their surroundings as they came up to the container yard or whatever it was going to be later on, making sure nothing or nobody got the drop on them as they went into the grounds of the place. As they got through the old worn down gates, Adelle went over to the guard house and checked the inside of it out a bit, seeing if there was anything worth finding in there, but if there was nothing she'd come on back out where she'd look to the others.

"Well, let's go say hi girls, probably best to drive them out since they're most likely the marauders Samson mentioned," Adelle whispered to the girls, hefting her submachine gun and preparing to follow them over to where the smoke was rising on the far side of the compound, using the broken down trucks, containers, and other various things littering the place as cover to sneak up, with Adelle keeping an eye out for anything interesting or anything that might do them harm.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

Adelle did not have much time to look into the guard post as she was almost immediately greeted with something she had not yet seen before, a red laser beam that punched through the glass in the front of the post. She was not hit thankfully, as it was probably not a thing she was waiting to experience with all that much anticipation. The culprit made themselves known quite fast, rolling over and crushing the counter with the small tank treads it had for feet and came into view. It was not a person but a machine, a strange and somewhat archaic-looking one at that. It had a main body that was a large metallic cylinder of dark gray metal hiding all the tech inside the shell, and four robot arms with flexible hose covering the joints and metal inside were what it had for limbs. The arms ended in metallic claw-hands that could be used to grab things and slash at them with equal ability, and there were latches on the front of the body to allow access inside, but it could be for protecting other equipment too. On top of the cylinder, there was short neck topped with an armored glass jar that had a brain and eyeballs floating around in some sort of preservative liquid. If these were of any indication, it was likely smarter than most machines, yet still subject to programming. "Intruders, intruders. I ask for your co-operation. No-one needs to die." the thing announced as it trundled onwards, a rather soft and feminine voice coming from the speakers it had on the sides of the brain case.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

As Adelle peeked inside the guard shack out front to see if anything worth looking at more closely was inside, she saw the red laser beam fire out at her, where she ducked back as it slammed through the glass and past her head. She then saw the being that shot at her rolling over the counter and was guessing that it was likely something left here by those that abandoned the place long ago from how old the machinery looked on the thing. Taking in the sight of the robot... or rather cyborg or android possibly she thought after she heard the voice, Adelle backed up a bit and gave a glance at the girls as she raised her submachine gun at the thing in front of them and clicked it to burst fire.

"Well... I don't think we're gonna give up just like that. Why don't you tell me why you shot at me first and then I'll consider it. Are you one of the marauders or what?" Adelle replied to the robot, backing up out of reach of its robotic arms to give herself some time to jump away if need be as she noted the latches on the compartment like part on the front of the thing, which was likely its only real weak spot unless she or Isabella didn't mind wasting some of their armor piercing bullets on the reinforced glass the brain was in. But the thing hadn't shot her straight in the face when it obviously had the chance to do so, so maybe she... if it was still a she technically that is, wasn't bad... only talking to her or it would tell assuming her question was answered without her being attacked. "Look, I'll lower my gun a little if you'll answer okay. No need for this to turn violent or anything with a misunderstanding. Like you said no one needs to die," she added as she lowered her gun a little bit, but not so far she couldn't whip it back up and fire if need be.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

The robot appeared to have little concern towards what it was being told, most likely going along with the programming to the very letter. "Intruders, lay down your weapons and submit to your just punishment in accordance with the law." the voice announced what it was after again, the tone changing very little between different warnings. It did not give Adelle much space to retreat either, trundling after her as she tried to back away with somewhat awkward yet still strangely quick manner when one looked what it used to move around. One robotic limb shot out to grab the gun in her hand, getting a hold and pushing it aside so she could not fire straight at it, but still not quite managing to disarm her. Considering the reaction it had to guns, the robot might be rather dangerous if it got a hold of any guns. Not missing a beat, the robot pushed Adelle back to unbalance her before a pair of prongs that vaguely looked like a power plug emerged from the palm of another robot hand. The plug look was not deceiving, since the next thing that Adelle experienced was the thing poking her on the boob on that side with the hand, which revealed that it was indeed a taser-type device that shocked her quite harshly. To follow up, the two remaining free arms both grabbed on to her, one latching onto her other forearm while other squeezed onto her thigh. She was in a bad position, but not alone thankfully. And the sisters were not going to take this just like that, both of them readying for a fight as weapons were bared while the robot demanded surrender from Adelle again.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

Adelle kept backing up slowly as the thing rolled after her, still spouting its directives or whatever at her. It seemed more focused on her than Isabella and Mariela from the looks of it, as it was only targeting her apparently. "Alright, not gonna listen are ya, well maybe I'll just... w-what the... hey," Adelle began saying before sputtering a bit when the robotic limb shot out and knocked her gun to the side so she couldn't point at the thing any.

As she stumbled back as she was pushed, Adelle noticed the thing coming out of the palm of the robot's hand on her right side, where she let out a small gasp before she was jolted with god only knows how many volts of electricity right on the side of her right breast, where she let out a small eek before slapping her left hand over her mouth to stifle her squeal of pain. "F-Fuck me... t-that didn't feel too good," Adelle mumbled, as she hadn't been quite prepared for the jolt, having assumed the thing would only just try to either grab or shoot to kill at them. As she stood there slightly dazed from the jolt, she felt two of the other hands grab hold of her while her nipples instantly hardened up while she shuddered from the jolt.

"O-Okay then robo girl... you asked for it," Adelle said, glancing down to make sure the strap for her submachine gun would keep it on her person so she could let it go and try to remain silent if possible as she drew her sword out and stabbed it out at the brain container since the robot was in such close proximity, and since it was focusing mainly on her, meaning the others would have a much easier time getting in there to help her out. She doubted that her sword would pierce the container, but it was really all she could do at the moment without firing her guns and she didn't want to do that and alert the marauders that might be around, though if she couldn't reach the brain container she'd swing her blade at the weakest point of the robot like any exposed wiring or hoses and whatnot, not even sparing the others a glance so it didn't turn to look at them with her or anything possibly.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

Despite the strong grip on her blade arm, Adelle could wrench herself loose enough to have a swing at the brain case, which was easy enough to aim for. Possibly surprising herself, she managed to make a small crack on it, even if the idea of stabbing a robot seemed somewhat silly. The other girls moved into action to seek out a way to release Adelle, Mariela trusting her big sword enough to use it while Isabella picked up something from the ground. Both sisters smashed the robot to the sides with their weapons, Mariela aiming for an arm but not quite hitting, yet she still dented thd cylindrical body to have enough effect. Isabella's hastily picked weapon turned out to be an uprooted piece of a street sign which still had a small nugget of concrete on one end to increase weight, and it too waa effective enough to dent the robot.

The robot had defenses planned out somewhat, and it tried to reclaim control, starting with clamping the one arm it had used to hold Adelle's blade arm to grab her by the neck and lift her up to a rather awkward position as she was hanging a few feet in the air by her right hand, leg and neck. One arm was still free to try and taser any one of then, but instead of that, it launched a strange blue light ball from it's brain at Mariela, which appeared to stun her as she began to stand there in a daze. Hopefully, it was not too long-lasting as it might get hard for the two to fend off the robot.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

Managing to get her arm free enough to swing her sword at the thing, Adelle was amazed at managing to get through as her blade struck true right where she'd wanted it to, the resulting blow cracking the glass a bit, making it look as if one or two more good strikes to there would finish the job. She didn't want to have to do this, as it seemed like this had at one point been a woman, or possibly was a woman that had just gone for a full cybernetic change... which considering all the different people in the city wasn't too far beyond the realm of possibility she thought to herself, remembering Lacri's friend from the other day who was pretty much all cyborg/robot.

Inwardly thanking her companions who both struck the blasted thing with different things and dented it some before Mariela was blinded and dazed a bit by whatever the thing shot at her, Adelle began to try and struggle free as she reared back to swing again, but her swing was cut off by the robot woman thing using the hand it'd had around her wrist and clamped it around her neck, though thankfully she wasn't being choke out... else she doubted she'd be able to get free before she was knocked unconscious.

Sputtering a bit, Adelle felt herself being raised up by her right arm, leg, and neck, but her left arm that was still holding the sword in that hand was free. Knowing that the robot may begin choking her any moment, she made sure to take deep breaths so she'd have some in her lungs if it tried to do just that as she looked down at the robot to find any weak exposed wires and or hoses that might damage and hinder the thing's arms a bit since it was holding her with a total of 3 of them at the moment... or at the very least it might make the thing focus all of its arms on her and give Mariela and Isabella the chance to shut the thing down. Who knew, maybe they could give the machine free will or something.

"S-Shit... might wanna hurry girls... in case it decides to choke me. But... if you can't get me out... then run," Adelle said as she was lifted up.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

There was no obvious weak spot to go for as all the wiring on the robot quite well covered, only a small bit of it being visible on the back of the neck area, which Adelle could not really reach from her current position to really make it into a threat. Still, she had the chance to poke at the brain casing as it was still there like a moment earlier, and she did succeed in making another crack on a different area, which started to leak a small amount of the preservative fluid. The robot did not like it, that was certain, as it continued to apply the needed measures to subdue the girls. Adelle had earned attention with the two times she had hit, and got another sharp poke and jolt from the free taser arm, which only served to make her even twitchier than she was before. "Cease your resistance and surrender." the thing blared at her before it did something that appeared a little contrary to the idea of what it was doing. Hefting the busty girl over it's head, it reared back a bit and chucked her forward, sending her flying a good dozen feet before she hit the ground a little farther away.

Meanwhile, Isabella had hefted her improvised maul into striking position yet again, getting caught in another blue ball that was blasted at her this time around. While it had managed to stun Mariela who was still somewhat comatose-looking yet still standing, it looked as if the gunner sister was stronger of mind and pushed the attack away so she could smash the robot some more. The second impact from the concrete chunk bent the side plate open, exposing some of the more delicate machinery inside the cylindrical body frame. Despite the hit, it had little interest in the strikes, going for Mariela instead as she was still unable to defend herself in any effective manner. Two arms were used to grab the sword sister, both of them holding her arms pinned against her sides as it got her by the waist and off the ground.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

Not seeing any exposed wires and whatnot to go after, Adelle went for the glass head bit again. She succeeded in making a second crack there and the liquid began leaking out slightly she noticed. The reaction she provoked was what she'd expected really, though that didn't make it hurt any less really as the taser was placed against her arm again as it zapped her once more, causing the poor busty girl to let out a whimper of pain before she was lifted up further and tossed about a dozen feet away. Amazingly she held onto her sword during the whole ordeal, but she was winded from the two shocks she'd sustained from the robot.

"N-Not gonna happen you bucket of bolts. I'll shut you down and take the time to learn how to reprogram your ass before I give up that damn easily," Adelle mumbled as she rolled over onto her stomach after landing and got back unsteadily to her feet, where she saw Isabella being blasted in the face with whatever that was the thing hit Mariela with moments ago.

When Adelle saw Isabella strike the thing with her improvised club and the resulting damage which exposed some of the wires and internals of the thing, she knew exactly what she planned on doing. Looking around for a path behind the female robot, where Adelle then ran to get to, to try and blindside the thing and get in close, where she then frantically searched for the power switch on the thing. Barring a power switch to shut the thing down, Adelle would worm a hand into the breach on its armor that Isabella made and grab hold of any wires and hold on tight, preparing to pull.

"Do you want to be shut down? Answer me right now and stand down or I will deactivate you... permanently," Adelle growled threateningly at the robot as she grasped the wiring or held her hand on the power switch. If it made any attempt to shake her off or attack her again and didn't stand down, Adelle would shut the thing down if she'd managed to find the power switch or she'd grab a handful of wires and yank them out, hoping to either shut the robot down or at least damage it too much to continue the fight against them.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

As Adelle was pulling herself off from the ground, Isabella pounded the robot even more, moving around to get behind the thing and stay out of sight as it appeared to be limited to the vision of the eyes inside the head, much like a human. Mariela began to stir at that moment as well, looking like she had been asleep for a little time as the situation appeared to catch her by surprise. She began to struggle, but the robot blasted her again point-blank, which had the same result as it had before and the struggling stopped as soon as it had started. With Adelle in range, the robot poked at her with another arm, this one too equipped with a taser. Thankfully, she did not have to take a third one as that might have taken her out for a while. Before she could really make anything happen though, another bash rocked the robot as the gun sister had a completely free will to do what she pleased with the street weapon. And what she did was bash the brain case, dropping all of the bludgeon's weight onto the head and crushing it into a metal and brain mess. The robot flailed around some after that, eventually shutting down and dropping the stunned Mariela onto the ground in front of it before it went silent.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

Getting up, Adelle saw Isabella seeming to have somewhat of the same idea as she did with getting behind the thing, though she continued slamming the thing with her improvised weapon. Mariela began waking back up as Adelle began moving, but she was blasted again with another of the same kind of blast she got hit with before. As she moved in, she leaned back away from the thing as it poked a taser at her again, which she did not want to get hit by a third time, because her arm was already a bit weakened from the last zap, and her body was shaken somewhat by the first, as her nipples had hardened up under her shirt, and were even now rubbing against the cloth, the electricity seemingly causing the reaction for some reason that Adelle didn't know.

Before she could get around the robot to do what she'd planned, Adelle saw Isabella literally smash her improvised weapon into its head, turning the whole thing into a gory mess as the liquid leaked out of the thing as it dropped Mariela to the ground. Going down to her knees next to Mariela, Adelle gently slapped her face a couple of times as she recovered from the zaps of the tasers, which she then looked at the robot with interest, thinking to herself that perhaps one of those would be helpful if she needed to subdue someone without killing them or hurting them greatly with a bullet through one of their limbs. But she'd get that shortly, as they had other fish to fry first.

"Hey Mari... come on girl wake up. And holy shit that jolt really... did a number on me. I wonder who programed that thing to act that way. And... what's with the brain?" Adelle said to Mariela as she slapped her face to try and wake her back up as she sat down completely now, then she glanced over at Isabella who as she asked about the brain.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

Again, it took a little while for Mariela to come back to them, and again she was looking as if the previous situation was still going on and almost hitting Adelle on the face with a fist as she was still in the mind that she was struggling against a robot. But she did not, thankfully. "That was fucking weird, you know. Almost as if my brain was shut down for a bit there." she told what it had felt like, eventually getting back to her feet once the busty girl let her go. Discarding her weapon, Isabella already had an explanation ready. "I've seen pictures of these things in some books, they are some sort of experimental robot that has been augmented with a human brain to make them more intelligent and capable in combat and diplomacy. They can't really go against their programming, but the edge that the brain gives them is still quite handy. The people back then did not really have the best designs when it came to robots, so they are still clunky and slow compared to today's designs. Also, a few models had a device built in them that could utilize the brain's powers to manifest something that is basically psionic powers. The laser and the mind blast were that in action." she told the two as she went to the robot and cranked open another opening in the back to examine a computer console underneath. "Can't say if it was still holding onto the old commands or if it has been re-programmed. Would need to get some power into it so I could activate the console. Maybe there are a few tech-savvy raiders out there."

"Whoa there, I'm on your side honey," Adelle said as Mariela came up nearly punching her in the face, leaning back to avoid the blow. Once she was back to normal Adelle got up and helped her to her feet, where she looked to Isabella who began explaining about the robot.

"Wow, you think we might be able to reactivate it... or her... whatever? I'd hate to think that we killed someone that still had some amount of sense of self about them you know... even if I was gonna hit the power switch... wherever it's at," Adelle asked Isabella curiously, idly wondering if the thing could be repaired as she looked over the gunner sister's shoulder at the back after she opened it up. "Either way though we should probably keep moving, might have drawn some attention with that, and if there are any other people I'd like to not be right here when they arrive and at least have an ambush set up. Because if that thing was programed by some of the marauders out here, then they'll definitely be around here somewhere close by most likely," she added, putting her sword back into its sheath and finally going over to the guard shack at the entrance to the place and looking around inside which was what she'd initially been trying to do, after which she'd follow the girls onwards if she found nothing of value or interest.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

"I don't think there was anything of the previous owner left. The brains were claimed from people who had given their bodies for science after dead. You can safely assume that the former owner had already passed on before their brains were set into the tanks. Or so the sources that I saw mentioned. Isabella told them what little she knew, shutting the back as there was nothing further to see in this robot.

A quick inspection to the guard post revealed that it had been cleaned out most likely ages ago, and now had nothing besides old records of coming and going in dirty papers available. They really accounted for nothing else besides telling that the place was once actually in use, but that was obvious from a whole bunch of other things as well. Mariela picked a direction, having them go right and into a small alley-type space along the labyrinthine container network. Not before long, there appeared to be some further activity going on as the trio heard a bunch of whirring noises, almost like something an RC car would make but louder. The other end of the alley soon came alive as three smaller robots came into view. These things were about five feet tall, having a similar cylinder body to the one before but these were thinner and sleeker than the bulky brainbot had been. They were clearly designed for speed, having a single off-road wheel instead of treads on then, and some inner balancer device kept them steady. They had no limbs, but there were holes on two sides of the body, so those were retracted most likely. A small camera lens in the middle of the body served as an eye. It was not certain if the robots had seen the girls yet as they were analyzing the surroundings, so they still had the option to try and hide, which could done in a nearby container that had a hole cut into the side. But if they had been seen already, the container might be more trouble than worth.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

"Oh... well that's good at least. Makes it easier to fight the things I guess and makes me not feel so bad if I destroy one or shut it down," Adelle said as they looked at the robot's interior.

The guard shack was totally bare, having been entirely cleaned out some time ago from the looks of it. After returning, Adelle followed Mariela down the direction she chose to go down, her submachine gun up and at the ready again as she kept an eye out on the tops of the labyrinth they were traveling down so nothing got the drop on them easily. As they made their ways along and heard the noises at the end of the alley, and then another 3 robots powering up, Adelle silently cursed.

"Come on, let's go back, I don't wanna get trapped in that container, we'll go up and over them on the tops of these containers," Adelle whispered as softly as she could before retreating back down the alleyway to the other end, where she'd give Isabella and the Mariela both a boost up to the tops of the containers, where they could get her up afterwards. This place would serve as a good overwatch point as well as a decent hiding place from anything on the ground that was searching for them.

If the robots did end up seeing them though, then she'd start running down the alley and boost the girls up onto the container at the very end, telling them to get ready to ambush while she was the bait, luring the robots down the narrow alleyway towards them by standing out in the middle with her gun up and ready just in case.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

Making quick decisions, the trio decided to avoid battles if they could, and possibly shoddy hiding places as well. The robots were still busy looking around, so the girls made do of Adelle's idea and scooted on top of the container wall that they could reach from the ground. The lighter sisters went first, both of them getting the busty girl up as well once they were both there. It was just in time as the robots began to move not a moment later, zooming down the alleyway of sorts with speed that their light frames were indicative of. Maybe avoiding fighting was smart as these things were fast, none of the three having had any chance at outrunning them if it went to a chase. They did stop at the spot the girls had climbed up at, but did not seem to notice as they soon went away, not even giving the top of the container a second look as they could not climb. After a moment of scanning some at that spot, the robots continued on along the path and soon turned away at a corner to look for intruders elsewhere. Just like the brain robot, it was still up in the air if these things were running the rounds out of old programming or some raider tinkering.

With the robots gone, the girls had some further decisions to make, mostly concerning the paths they wanted to take. If they actually wanted to maintain their current path, they could travel on the higher level to have some protection from the sensors and eyes of any possible ground-level threats, but this would mean that there was going to be a decent amount of climbing, which could tire them to some extent. The ground level was there of course, easier to travel and fight in but more open and prone to encounters as well. The possibility that something was patrolling around the upper levels was certainly possible, but way less likely than an encounter on ground level.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

Giving the other girls a boost, Adelle made her way up with their help, both girls grabbing one wrist and pulling her up. As soon as she was up on top of the container they'd chosen to climb, Adelle rolled over and onto her stomach, peeking carefully over the edge and looking down at the robot trio that was coming at them. Patiently she waited with the others, watching as the trio moved off down the alleyway after having stopped for a few moments right where they climbed up. It made Adelle think that the things had noticed their footprints or something possibly, but she had no way of knowing unless she could get a hold of one of the things with Isabella's help and look at the programming of the thing.

Seeing how quick they were, Adelle thought that it'd been better that they hid instead of fought, as they'd likely never have outrun the things. "Hey girls... I don't think there's anyway for us to know if these were reprogrammed by someone, or if they're running on the original programming unless we either find someone in here that's controlling them, or simply being bait and letting one of those things capture us. And I don't like option number two there honestly. So I say up we go for the height advantage in case we run into anything else. But if you'd both rather stay down low then I don't mind that either, but sooner or later we'll have to shoot and whoever or whatever is in here will hear it and come a running most likely to try and stop us. So... what do you both think we should do? High or Low?" Adelle whispered after the robots were gone, looking at the girls for their opinions and what they wished to do before they moved onward.

She was up for either path really, but would prefer staying up high, and as she was the biggest of the trio she'd give both of the others a boost up at any big climbing points they came to before climbing up behind them, should the others decide to remain on the high ground for now at least. Though there was the chance that they could run into something up there too of course, and that they might run into a dead end as well, though at the very least they'd be able to see it coming before it happened better than if they were still on the ground, where an ambush was more likely in her opinion.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

"Would prefer this path myself, certainly. Fighting a bunch of tin cans with my blades is a cringeworthy proposition, it's a lot of maintenance afterwards at the least, a complete blade replacement at worst scenario. Had I known this, I would have selected something else for today... Mariela agreed with taking the high road, muttering afterwards to invest in something called a tetsubo. Isabella had little reason to disagree, so they would be taking the path across the containers. It was a road of changing elevation, but the trio would make it along with some climbing here and there. A little further down the line, they would see the apparent camp of the raiders who had taken residence in the yard. Just the ones they could see numbered over ten, so there appeared to be a lot of them. A watchtower of sorts had been raised in the vicinity of the camp, standing just a little over the topmost containers in the path. A huge man dressed in rough pants and a body harness with little more was keeping watch there, actually having a somewhat maintained hunting rifle in his hands. Already the place was looking more dangerous than most ruffian camps.

And it was just about to get more dangerous as the man on watch suddenly turned to look in the group's direction, spotting them right away. He fired a shot into the air to raise an alarm before taking cover behind the watchtower wall. The other raiders began to stir immediately as well, one of them standing out quite a lot as he was way smaller than most of the others, actually being quite average among a bunch of huge brutes. Before any shots could be fired, me this man shouted out to the girls. "Come on out. I would rather not turn this into a massacre. I have a little proposition, in fact, that might benefit the both of us."

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

"Heh, yeah I don't have much else but my guns and blades to fight with, so all I can really do is ambush and hit the weak wires and internal mechanics of the robots to take them down if I want to go silent," Adelle replied quietly as they went on, keeping her submachine gun up and at the ready.

After a bit of climbing and trekking through the place, the trio managed to make their way along until they came up onto a camp of sorts. Kneeling down and aiming her gun out over the camp, Adelle took stock of the area below in and around the camp, counting their numbers and coming to the conclusion that they would likely need to rely on stealth to take these big guys down. "Well, let's get ready to sneak in an... oh fucking hell," Adelle began muttering as she looked to the girls when the guard in the tower fired his gun up into the air and put everyone on high alert.

"Well shit. What do you wanna do girls? I doubt we can take them all on in a straight up fight without funneling them and proper cover. But I'm just about positive he's going to tell us to surrender or something and I'm gonna say nope to that. We can try to double back a bit and get a better position to draw them in at if you want, give us all an advantage of sorts and make a killing field on them, but we'd probably need to split up for that. If we get pinned down though I doubt we'd have enough ammo to hold out until Samson decides to send help, so we'll need to keep moving as best we can. Besides Samson just told us to scout the place out, we don't need to fight unless you both want to," Adelle muttered to the others as she backed up behind some cover, but kept her gun pointed just around the corner at the guy in the tower and clicked her submachine gun to single shot mode and awaiting the others responses.

If the people down in the camp started shooting first before she and the other two decided on what to do, Adelle would take careful aim at the tower at the wall where the guy had ducked down at and fire 3 shots at him in his perch before they displaced and fell back to get a better position. If they didn't shoot or anything and their leader guy wanted to talk some more, Adelle would look to the others and nod, whispering that she'd try and buy them some time to fall back and get a better position by talking to the guy as she passed Mariela her pistol she came to town with and a some of her speed loaders she had filled with bullets, telling her that she could give it back later but that she needed a ranged weapon since so many of these guys seemed to have guns themselves.
