Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)


Going for the grab would reveal the thing that was being reached at was not quite as small as expected, and did not appear to take being grabbed at too kindly. Some bubbles would surface as Adelle's hand reached for what was actually a fairly large fleshy mass, and before she could get back, it would burst out from the ground to attack. What little she could see suggested that it was a large worm creature of some kind, but the huntress had little time for speculation as she was instantly counter-grabbed by this thing, it's large but thankfully toothless mouth clapping onto her as she was in a relatively easy crouching position. Just like that, she was up to her waist inside the worm's mouth, which was fairly similar to the tight squeeze of the molestor tunnel they had to go through in the last dungeon. And there was a big tongue there, which she was now pushed against, and muscles around her were working together with this tongue to pull her fully inside, where unsavory things would certainly happen if it went there.
 
Adelle let out a yelp as she saw the bubbles and the explosion of the fleshy mass, splashing the cum quite literally everywhere, and likely drenching her from head to toe in the stuff. "N-Ngh... damn... definitely was not expecting... t-that..." Adelle grunted and locked her arms down around the sides of the creature's mouth so it couldn't suck her in any further than it had, very easily anyway, even as the tongue most likely coiled around one or both legs to pull her in.

"Hey there big guy... s-sorry for disturbing you, but... you know... you Kind of disturbed me first, to be fair," Adelle would say, knowing the creature wouldn't be able to understand her.

With that, she quickly grabbed her wakizashi and would find a spot that she could stab the thing so she didn't cut herself, and jabbed it a couple of times, not too hard, but enough to let it know she meant business if she wasn't set free.
 
Adelle would have trouble keeping her position safe, but she did manage it long enough. The worm creature had a thick rubbery hide that was hard to poke at effectively even at an advantageous position, as Taio was attempting as soon as she had gotten wise to the situation after that brief shock of the attack. But it wouldn't be her that resolved their troubles, the fairly tight quarters of the corridor forcing the rear guard Rose to push her aside against the wall so she could come in. A big overhead swing coming down would end the attempted eating, the large girl's clawed hand changing back into it's original size midway into the swing, the impact tearing a quad of gashes into the worm's side which would be a quick persuader to abandon the attack. As Adelle was quickly dumped onto the ground, the creature retreated back into the hole it had come from, the fleshy ground likely working to seal the hole after it did. "Well... that was not quite as hard as the previous place..." Taio would comment on this apparently easy and relatively bloodless victory.
 
Adelle breathed a sigh of relief and looked over at Rose. "Thanks Rose, appreciate the save there. I don't know just what that thing was, but damn that spooked me," Adelle said softly to Rose and got herself up and started onward again.

Adelle would continue to lead the way and remained very cautious now as she continued, looking forward to make sure nothing bad was waiting for them up ahead.
 
Rose would simply go hmm hmm as she was thanked, the expanded claw returning to it's manageable size as she did. The way around the corner would lead to another brief stretch of cum tunnel, but the rightwards path would soon open up into another chamber, the previously seen signs of symmetry present here as well as there was another tunnel across the room and one to their right in their respective places. The room itself was a complete cum puddle, maintaining the same depth as the tunnel they had just come from. Hopefully. But to get anywhere in this place, they'd have to cross the whiteness to one of the other doorways.
 
As they came into the next chamber area, with Adelle slowly but glancing down the path to the right, she sighed. "Well... I don't like the idea of splitting up at all. So... hope you girls don't mind wading into that..." Adelle would say to the others, and looked back to her friends, and slowly moving into it to wade into the cum and towards the other side of the room to the tunnel on their right.
 
"Looks like we went a little roundabout to the room that was straight ahead from the entrance, but... at least it's not quite as... sticky in there it seems." Taio would comment that they might have gotten to the target room from the entry chamber faster, but what was done was done at that point. And she was right, as they got a bit closer there were indeed signs that the floor would rise in that corridor to remain cumless while the other one looked to continue in the same whiteness as the rest of the area around them did.

They would get halfway to the target, the shin-high whiteness thankfully remaining as such the entire time, making it more tolerable and not as slow as it could. While they were not too far apart from each other, Rose in the back would be the unfortunate one among them to stumble onto something as a familiar creature burst up from under her, lifting her up in the air as rose from the ambush. It was one of those large and vaguely flower-like creatures with the film-trapping habits from the previous dungeon, and it quickly clamped it's petals shut on Rose to secure her. But, this creature was probably a bit too specific in design as it couldn't fully trap the large girl inside, her head still sticking out from the top as the trapping petals were simply not big enough to seal her in completely. But it would probably still seek to make their life harder by keeping Rose out from the fight with the tightness of it's film or tentacles, and it didn't appear to be the only one as several spots on the surface in the room would start to bubble up, probably having more of these creatures hidden just underneath the surface.
 
"Yeah... it doesn't seem... quite as sticky a path," Adelle murmured back and looked around the chamber.

Wading into the cum, she felt it licking up to the middle to upper half of her shins, as she walked, and when the sudden movement lifted Rose into the air, Adelle reacted quickly and rushed over, or began to, when she stopped and looked at where the bubbles were just beneath the surface of the cum. "Taio... don't step where the bubbles are," Adelle said softly, and began to more slowly and cautiously make her way to Rose's side, where she began to cut at the petals holding Rose up to peel her free from the large flower like critter. "Hold on Rose, just don't let it pull you all the way inside... not that I'm sure it can, really," Adelle told Rose as she approached and began to try freeing her.
 
There was some struggling between Rose and this particular attacker, and even as she was otherwise pinned inside the petals, the large girl didn't make it easy as she could quite effectively shake the thing around, making it hard for it to get it's filming effort done. If it was even trying as there was some confusion to be detected in it's behavior, as if it was not quite sure how it should be reacting to this larger prey.

Taio would move with Adelle, taking a flank towards the creature as she too readied her knife to get to work. They would both be slapped back by the critter though, it's lower body tentacles flailing at them to keep them away from what it was doing. And it would let out a weird, alien screech in reaction to being attacked as well, this noise alerting the other hiding monsters. Three more of the flowers would emerge in different areas of the room, but there would be a new creature as well. A pyramid of red flesh slightly shorter than Adelle would be the creature in roughly the middle of the room, each of it's bottom corners having a simple grasping tentacle that looked like they could extend and retract. At the top, it had a shorter tube tentacle, and each side of the pyramid body would have an eye that was firmly set on them. And it had a stack of stubby legs at the bottom, it looked like this one was not going to attack them too fast.

Just like that, they were now facing five different creatures, even if one was occupied.
 
As Adelle approached the creature, she prepared to stab and slice into it with her wakizashi, but it knocked her back before she could, and then more action burst from the cum lake in the room. "Damn... I'm betting this thing might be what happened to the old guy's granddaughter. Alright then, time to go to some stronger power," Adelle muttered, sheathed her blade, and swung her shotgun out and took a shot at the nearest of the new flowers, and then a second shot, and a third, hopefully riddling it with so much buckshot that it would have no hope of containing her even if it managed to grab her.

As soon as Adelle had fired those shots off, she would spin quickly to the next nearest flower and fire 2 or 3 more rounds into it, hopefully at least driving it off if nothing else.
 
With the newly bought power in her hands, Adelle started blasting, the distance between them enabling her to slam shots into the nearest creature. The lead would tear at the flower pretty hard, leaving it's petal body pretty rough and full of holes, but it was nonetheless still trying to come at them even in it's ragged state.

Rose and the flower she was contending with still had their tug and push match even with the girl inside, but the sudden gasp and reddening of her face suggested that there was tentacle action going on inside the privacy of the petals. The thing had likely not managed to penetrate the large girl yet, but certainly some rubbing and squeezing was happening at this point. Taio had not given up on trying to get Rose out as Adelle's attention was on the others around them, but she was having a hard time even with the creature's attention in two places at once. While she managed to cut one tentacle from the lower body, it looked like she too was ready to pull out her 10mm to get some results as it would be easier to shoot the lower body and maybe get it to release the trapped Rose who was having trouble escaping on her own.

The other three flowers were closing in, the one Adelle had blasted being closest to them but somewhat demoralized after being shot so hard. The pyramid creature however was not coming at all, remaining where it had risen from as it eyed the ladies with the two eyes on that side. Then, a bulge would go through the tube at it's top, before it flailed that tentacle forward like a catapult, a ball of transparent goo flying out with a puff of air. It was accurate, the ball landing square on Adelle's head and splashing her with a clear slime, the nature of it quickly coming clear as it stuck everywhere, making it harder for her to move.
 
Adelle saw the first flower was pretty damaged after her three shells blasted at it, but her attention was drawn to Rose and the flower holding her, and she could tell something was happening inside of those petals to Rose, as her face was growing redder and her gasp was pretty telling. She didn't know how well Taio was faring in freeing Rose, but she did notice the other flowers closing in on her.

"Ngh... bastards..." Adelle murmured and pointed her gun at the next flowery thing getting closer.

However when the pyramidal creature looked right at her, and then... laucnhed something at her, Adelle let out a yelp as the gunk splashed her. "Ugh... what is this stuff...?" Adelle sputtered and tried to wipe the stuff off with one hand and steady her gun and shoot with the other.
 
Even with the slime hampering her movement with it's stickiness, Adelle had little trouble hitting a target as big as the flower creature. One more shredding cloud of lead would persuade the thing to retreat, and it would suck itself down into the bottom where it had come from, almost like the worm from before had. Whatever it was, that particular one would not be a problem at the moment. Wiping at the slime was not quite as successful, the stuff sticking to her more as she brushed her hand in it.

The molesting would have an effect on Rose though, the disagreement trashing she did actually breaking the hold of the flower as it tumbled to the side, those previously sealed petals breaking open under the weight and force as the large girl was released, the bag of film around her body as she landed into the pool. It was still constricting her movement, but the girl was getting up despite the constraints on her. Having the opportunity, Taio would leap inside the open flower, her knife stabbing into it as the 10 mil came out, a quick trio of shots into the lower body from touching distance ending this threat rather effectively.

With those things happening, Adelle would find herself in a spot of trouble as both of the still remaining flowers were upon her, and each would grab and pull at her in a weird tug of war to see which one got to have her. And it would get even worse as another ball of sticky goop landed on her, the aim of the pyramid monster impressive even with the two flowers there in the line of fire.
 
Adelle figured it probably best not to try and wipe any further, and turned her attention to the remaining flowers. Her aim was thrown off a bit as the pyramidal creature threw another ball of goop at her, the thing landing right on her. This distracted her enough for both of the remaining flowers to grab a hold of her, pulling her in both directions, Adelle grunted and knew she was in a bit of a pickle, but couldn't really do much but fight back. She kicked and struggled at the flower creatures, in an attempt to bring her shotgun to bear on the one in front of her, holding on tightly to the shotgun and making sure she didn't lose it after just getting it.

"Taio, g-get Rose out of that, and then take out that... pyramid thing... I got this..." Adelle called over to Taio and kept struggling, swiping her wakizashi out to cut herself free if need be.
 
The struggle between the three of them would carry on, a blast of the gun from Adelle being good enough to break the other flower off from her and wound it in the process. But the other one would take the chance this presented, and more tentacles would come at her, establishing that this particular one would be the one to get her if it got further than that. And with several tentacles and the double dose of sticky glop restraining her, this looked like an inevitability. There even was some competition to be seen as the flower grabbing her would shift to the side, blocking the other one from reaching her with it's own body in a surprisingly unfriendly manner.

Rose, while not completely restrained, was hampered enough that she could not easily break out from the film on her own as her struggles made no real progress during her rising up from the ground to one knee. But the callout from Adelle would get her free as Taio and her accurate knife would come in to make a quick tear into it and allow her to come out proper, the victory of it flattening a bit as the third gloop of the fight landed on her to make her continued effort in the fight all that harder with the restraint goo.
 
Adelle grunted and growled as she struggled with the flowery creatures, even as their tentacles pulled and tugged at her in an attempt to grab her. The one in front would get the blast with her shotgun, forcing it back, even though the other behind her was pulling her into its filmy petals. "N-Ngh... no let... go you... damn thing..." Adelle grunted, and tried to maneuver her shotgun around to get the barrel pointed at the remaining flower creature, and tried to shoot it off her.

If she couldn't, then she'd hope the strap kept the shotgun slung around her shoulder if it was able to knock it out of her hands, and try pulling her blade back out in an attempt to cut herself free, even as more of the sticky goo was shot out and it hit Taio this time. "D-Damn... I can't... m-move... at all... practically," Adelle muttered under her breath to herself as she struggled to get free herself.
 
The flower would manage to be the stronger of the two, with all the hampers on Adelle being there, and it would safely keep her arm straight to keep the shotgun away as she was picked off the ground and planted at the top, where the petals would quickly shut around her, leaving her in darkness as she was the right size for these creatures to trap. She had her blade in her hand, but she could feel the film forming around her and leaving her in a tight prison as she was squished inside.

While she couldn't see what was going on anymore, there were some signs to be picked up via sound as she could hear a few more shots of Taio's gun go off, footsteps of the different types, another splash of goop landing and a guh noise that was likely from Rose. But then would come a rather hard impact straight to the side of her prison, which would topple to the side with her inside it, the force sending them skidding a little distance away. Thankfully the petals would soften the landing, but it was still not too pleasant to experience that fall in complete darkness and no ability to catch oneself.
 
Adelle struggled in a vain attempt to get free, though it did manage to finally get her on top of it, where it quickly sealed her inside of the petal prison, the tight confines being... not too unpleasant, but still being not something she wanted to happen to her. "N-Ngh, dammit... if I can just... get my... arm around to the t-trigger..." Adelle muttered to herself, as she heard the sounds of fighting continuing outside.

After several long moments that felt like minutes, she lurched to the side and landed inside of the thing, and began to try wriggling free as best she could in the pitch blackness, though now her mind had been disoriented a bit and she didn't really know which way to go, after the blow that knocked her over, unsure if she'd been flipped around or what.
 
The struggle would be real, but with the previous bump hitting them it looked like there were bigger troubles brewing for the flower, and it was getting distracted as there were no molesting tentacles slipping inside the bag where Adelle was held. The situation would change for the better too rather fast as suddenly one of the four petals opened the seal, the sight of Rose throwing that large piece away revealing that she had just ripped the entire thing off with a simple grab and pull. She had taken a goop shot too, but it was not doing much to ward off her power.

More gun sounds could be heard as well before there was a telltale click of an empty mag, followed by a splash what was likely the first miss from their pyramid adversary as it sounded like the glob had just hit the pool instead of Taio.
 
The feeling of the flower creature being thrown around by what could only be Rose caused Adelle to think that she was about to be freed. As luck would have it, she was indeed rescued by Rose, who was ripping the flower thing open. The moment she saw Rose's face, Adelle gasped and climbed upwards as best she could, though hearing the sounds of Taio's pistol running empty didn't help too much, really, she knew. Adelle used her blade hand to try drawing her sharp blade up to cut herself free too, and hoped that more flowery things didn't come out after them, or something else entirely.

"Thanks hon, appreciate the save," Adelle told Rose as she tried to wriggle herself out.
