Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)
"Oh come on Rosie... what kinds of things? I mean we're girls after all, plus after what all we've been through in the factory earlier, I think we can talk about that kind of thing. Unless you don't want to that is, It's up to you," Adelle said, blushing a little bit when Rosie said those kind of things, thinking that she meant sexual things of some sort, but she didn't mind talking about sexual things with other girls, especially girls she considered her friends.
Along the way, Adelle noticed they were passing into what she could only assume was the richest area of the city, glancing around at the finer things around her and slightly longing for her family to be able to enjoy living like these people themselves in a big old manor with handmaids and stuff like that. Of course maybe one day they could, as that was one reason Adelle had moved to the city after all, to make enough money for them to do such a thing. When Rosieta began talking and answering her questions, Adelle listened to her words to make sure she didn't tell her not to do something and her not hear her.
"So he's kind of just the overseer in a way, with lots of people working under him. And waitresses you said, hmm... I might check it out and work there a little if the pay is good and it doesn't require much or any training of any kind to do so. Are you one of the bounty hunters though Rosie? You're more than strong enough to be one if you wanted to be. And what would one have to do in order to get up to those highest levels?" Adelle said as they came up to the walled manor.
When they got up to the gate, Adelle noticed the two big guys standing guard there, one carrying an assault rifle, and the other a shotgun. She noticed the gate was open and she was about to get ready to be searched, or possibly even strip searched after thinking about all that had happened to her over the last day. However she didn't need to worry about it as the two with their rather mean looking faces eased up when they saw Rosieta, not even bothering to search Adelle or stop her as they apparently felt no need to since she was with the maid. Adelle was a little amazed and rather kind of liked being with Rosieta now, as it'd be a little tiresome and annoying to have to go through a search like that after what all had happened to her in that factory earlier. Once inside and past the gates, Adelle saw the beautiful green grass, the trees, and the flowers that were a part of the garden there, and out of instinct that she couldn't help, Adelle stopped as they passed the flowers and smelled a couple of them, though without picking them from the ground, as there was few enough already to be taking any precious ones from the ground like that, especially considering they weren't her's to pick in the first place. She also ran her hands along the grass, this being one of the few times in her life she'd been able to what with so little grass that still grew nowadays after the war.
"S-Sorry about that Rosie, it's just I haven't seen flowers like this save in one place in the city, and that was at this one clothing store a friend took me to the other day, and I haven't seen grass like this in... about a year or two. I couldn't help myself when I saw it... because it's just so... beautiful," Adelle said to Rosieta when the maid inevitably asked her what she was doing, or if she didn't ask and merely gave her a look, then she would say the same after smelling the flowers and running her fingers through the grass some.
