"I'm punishing you for stealing my saplings. You take them, so you must replace them," the plant woman said, grinning at Alyssa and flailing her tentacles out at Alyssa.

The plant woman dodged Alyssa's icy beam, swinging her hips to the side to do so, and she then swung out several tentacles, but missed Alyssa each time as she flailed at her. "If you promise to help me replace them, then I'll let you take what you need. But you really should learn not to take without asking," the plant woman told Alyssa.

"Replace them, I don't know what you're talking about!" Alyssa darted back, this wasn't going to work, she'd have to try something else. "If I promise to, can I deliver them first and then come help?" Seemed easy enough, if denied then Alyssa would try to grab them up quickly before the woman could stop her.

Alyssa made a gesture across her heart. "I promise, of course, an heroes word is her bond!" she lied smiling brightly. "I'll take the rest gently, unless there's an easier way to gather them?" She scooted closer, smiling brightly. She had no intention of returning to this woman, so there was no need to worry about keeping such a promise. Anything to advance, right? She had no reason to treat this world as anything but something be conquered.

If allowed she would carefully pick what she needed and bow. "I promise to return as quick as possible," she said before making her way back to the woman.

"Very well then, hurry back, and we can begin," the plant woman said, licking her lips hungrily. "Dig them up and pull them gently," she added, showing how to do so as she used her tentacled vines to dig up the nearest of the flowers and handing it to Alyssa.

"I will hold you to your word, and I can communicate with my kind that are elsewhere about these woods. So they will make you pay if you don't return," the plant woman told Alyssa as she left.

After a few short minutes, Alyssa came across Violet again and the pointed ear woman smiled at her. "Welcome back, hmhm," Violet giggled, hugging Alyssa when she saw her.

"Oh goody honey, I'm glad you got them all. Was there any trouble getting them? I hope not," Violet said, hugging Alyssa again.

When Alyssa explained what had happened, Violet hugged her again and frowned softly. "That's a little bad honey, because she might be able to make things bad for you if you don't go back. This potion will take a while to make anyway, and if you're kind to her, then she'll be kind back. But it's up to you of course. She paused at the mention of what the potion did, trying to wrap her mind around it. Wait. What?

"I'll be back then," she said. She could think it over on her way back to the plant.

Alyssa grumbled quietly, not replying to the woman directly. She was nice enough not to scold her but the whole thing stank, surely she would have noticed that, who would sign up for something like that! Weren't all the candidates woman? Agh! She should have known. She'd have to get a hold of whoever was the creep behind this thing and give them a piece of her mind about small print.
